40V mower worked well for 3 mowings…
40V mower worked well for 3 mowings then quit. Battery says charged but mower won't turn on. Key is in place.
Easy to follow the instrutions.
all the insrutions were easy to follow. plenty of information for assymbly and operation.
Had high hopes but they are dead like all my batteries.
Ok so I bought almost every Hart cordless tool they make. 40v and 20v. The tools themselves arent that bad. Matter of fact I havent had but one tool quit after a little bit of use. My problem is that I now have this pretty good sized investment in a wide collection of tools that I can barely use. Im not even kidding when I say I have 15 hart batteries all different sizes. 20v and 40v every amp hour size they have and out of those 15 batteries 2 still work. I have one 40v that still works and I have 1 20v that still works. None of the way more expensive ones work just one little 2 amp hour 20v and the 2 amp hour 40v. The thing that really pisses me smooth off is they wanna charge crazy amounts for batteries that are just not worth a quarter of what they think they are worth. So thats my complaint. If you want a massive tool collection that you can use a few times and then just look at Hart is the way to go but if you want to actually slide good batteries onto your tools and use them well I would look elsewhere. I use power tools every single day of my life. At home and at work. Well previously at home but still at work. Had high hopes but roll that hope up and see if it will charge because the batteries wont.
Best money spent
I have the Weedeater that you can change tools with,2 40volt batteries and the rapid charger. I love this tool! I have had it since April.2021 and no issues. I have a little over an acre that I have to weedwack. I just charge one battery while I use the other. Get it all done in about 3 hours. I also, l9ve the quick refill on the trummer, and the fact that I can use my mini cultivater head to prep my veggie garden in the Spring. I love the multiple uses. The next purchase will be the pruner pole saw attachment!
If you are serious about tools
If you are serious about tools. Don’t purchase HART tools! Earlier today I purchased an 18” 40V 1/2 acre push mower. I could not be more disappointed with its performance. After two cuttings (30 min) and two battery charges (1.5 hours) this little mower has already found itself in the back of my shop never to be used again, sitting there to rot away. After being sold that it was a decent mower to find that I’ve wasted $350. It’s low and terrible quality tools for hard working people.
I bought a 40amp weed eater and blower…
I bought a 40amp weed eater and blower at walmart about 3 or 4 weeks ago I used it 3 times and it quit working I don't know if it was defected or whats up with that but I do know I got ripped off for almost $200 because we were in process of moving and I lost my reciept, and I was suppose to have a 90 days guarantee -instead all I have is a yard full of long grass
great tools
I Have the 20 volt system of impacts fans sawzall flash light & drills all been great so far & house vacuum cleaner
Don’t buy!
Don’t buy!! I purchased the self propelled lawn mower in April 2023 (mind you the one that’s $500), that has a 5yr warranty and the battery was already defective less then year later, after taking good care of of the battery! Then the beginning of may while using the mower, the blades just came off which was scary! After contacting customer service, they gave me info for the service center to take it to, and there is only one, yes one single man that services them in our state! I’ve contacted him twice to get it in, as I did the necessary things he needed, and today July 23, 2024 I still have got no response!! I’m out of a mower!!!! I contacted customer service AGAIN, and explained I need my mower, it’s got a warranty, and the service center isn’t responding! Well they said there’s NOTHING they can do, that he has to fix it! Well here it is almost 3months later and nothing!! Pathetic! So much for a warranty, spending $500 on what I thought was a great mower, I’m so so disappointed!!!! Buy another brand, not this one! Thanks for nothing hart, I literally have no lawn mower all summer!!!!
I got lied to by a customer service representative
I contacted HART customer service about a broken part for a circular saw that was still under warranty. The representative assured me that the part was in stock and being shipped out. It has now been over a month and the part still hasn't showed up, so I called again. This time the representative tells me that the part is out of stock, it was never shipped to me, and that they don't know when the part will be back in stock. Then they told me to take the tool to a service center. I checked on HART's website to find a service center, and when I enter my zip code it says "sorry there are no service centers within 200 miles of your location". If the first representative would have told me that the part was unavailable, I would have tried to find another solution or buy a new saw. Instead the job I need the saw for has been on hold for over a month now.
Very good tools
Batteries DO NOT LAST!
Recently received the Hart 40V weedwhacker as a gift. I used it less than a dozen times and both the battery it came with, and the extra one given to me will no longer hold a charge. I normally LOVE my HART tools and it's why I requested it but this weedwhacker can't take interchangeable batteries and there is NOTHING they can do to help me, a waste of $, worst product by HART. DO NOT RECOMMMEND their weedwhackers at all.
Purchased the self propelled lawn…
Purchased the self propelled lawn mower. So easy to assemble. What a great lawn mower so easy to use and quickly cut my yard. I strongly recommend this mower for all. This mower I would recommend for women and senior citizens very easy to operate and like the side mulching option.
Hart 2 in 1 20V Trimmer & Blower
What I like about the trimmer is the length of the weed eater. what I dislike is the functionality of how to convert into and edger, and how to operate the auto wind feeder.

Product was easy to put together the battery is very strong I just wish this product came with two batteries for the two pieces that I bought together.
The blower is very strong
Bought a 20Volt battery 8" chain saw…
Bought a 20Volt battery 8" chain saw and it only worked for about 20 minutes before a part broke that keeps the chain tightened. Then I spent hours trying to get them to answer my phone calls and then finally they did not have the part and would not have it for about 6 months.
Very reliable tools and budget friendly
Was low on funds for tool set when I started on construction. Hart was the lucky one. I bought 4 tool combo kit 3 years ago and now I have almost everything that is need for my line of work. Take care of these and they will take care of you. Looking forward to any new power tools the come up with. Definitely a HART fan.
Be warned........ All of these 1 start reviews were earned
WARNING HART TOOLS 1 STAR REVIEWS ARE THE TRUTH.... Ordered a 6 tool combo kit. Received the order late, the set finally came in 6/25/24. BOTH batteries came defective (throwing error code when charging), missing screws/bolts in several of the tools. The best part is they refuse to send you a replacement unless you have every exact detail of each defective item. Model number part number and serial number. Called 10 times only to be told several different things. I knew it wouldn't be the best set I've ever gotten, but my God I didn't expect this! Being a business owner myself, I would be completely ashamed to send a product out the door with this quality and customer service! Even the customer service rep said they have had excessive amounts of calls about their batteries being received as defective. Now I'm told because I don't have all the info on my person, which is all the info they have at their finger tips, that I'm not covered under warranty....... What a flipping joke!
I purchased a Hart Tool Combo 20 Volt…
I purchased a Hart Tool Combo Kit, 20 Volt Cordless Drills and a 6&1/2inch circular saw, including the saw blade. With 2 batteries and charger from Wal Mart. For the little amount of time that they even get used. They work great and I did not have to spend too much money on high dollar major brand tools that I would use very little. 3 Years warranty for $24 from Wal Mart. Peace of mind, quality and practical on a limited budget! Very happy!
