This place is under investigation for animal cruelty. The horrors committed at this place should have resulted in immediate closure.

Footage of awful animal abuse at this place has been exposed online and they need closing down. The crimes committed at this place are beyond salvageable. Can't imagine the fear and pain that those poor animals endured.

The website Is misleading
They state they have the highest standards and latest equipment and intelligent waste management systems and uphold high hygiene

However they recently had blood running down the street from the slaughterhouse
They exchanged carcases in service station car parks
There machinery can not hold animals safety and they scream in pain transported from all over in hot trucks not from lush pasture

They are dismembered alive in acts of cruelty

I give 0 stars. Overwhelming footage of off the Richter scale animal abuse. Highly illegal and sickening. Live animals being taunted before slaughter, and dismembered whilst fully alive. The FSA were on site, which is terrifying . The company a family run business and its staff are like something from a horror film. This issue is not about religion nor meat eaters vs vegans. This is about depraved, sickening practices. This place needs shutting down.

This place is a torture chamber for animals. Evil monsters hacking off animals limbs whilst still conscious and hacking their heads off whilst they're still blinking. Then the animals heads are in buckets and shown to the next poor animal awaiting their fate at the hands of these barbaric subhumans. Joey Carbstrong's videos on YouTube highlight the evil cruelty taking place in this hellhole. This place needs shutting down ASAP.

This company doesn’t even deserve one star. What they have been doing to animals and probably for years is the most shocking and upsetting animal abuse you could imagine. They employ ex offenders that obviously should still be locked up as they are extremely violent and dangerous individuals. The fact they are walking our streets is very scary. If anyone can cut up and animal while fully conscious, hearing them scream and laughing , then they should be in custody.

How the FSA hasn't stopped the place from trading is beyond belief.

The reports of severe animal abuse and worker misconduct at this abattoir are completely unacceptable. No animal should ever be subjected to such unnecessary suffering and deliberate cruelty. I hope to see this facility held fully accountable and shut down. I am deeply distressed and absolutely horrified by the undercover footage exposing the treatment of conscious animals at this facility. The lack of basic compassion and respect for animal welfare is disgusting. There must be zero tolerance for this kind of cruelty, ethical standards and humane treatment are non-negotiable, yet the footage shows a complete disregard for animal suffering. It's truly heartbreaking.

This secretive out of view slaughterhouse is tucked away behind the gates of hell at a publicised scrap metal company it’s a family run torture house that was exposed by Joey Carbstrong which sees its workers inflicting the most abhorrent abuse on those poor animals including dismembering cows whilst fully conscious, mocking and beatings leaving dismembered animals heads in huge buckets to terrify live animals further the cruelty is endless, the terrified animals are being jabbed with electric goders because they don’t want to enter the kill line illegally jabbing them in the sensitive areas repeatedly. They have failing machinery trapping the animals in the kill box.This company is carrying out halal and kosher killings as well as British killings and the public do not know what they re buying rivers of blood have been spewing down the lane outside with animal body pieces in where they were washing down the public drain leaving clots and blood stained grass. The FSA and other officials have been present before but did nothing until now but it’s still operating.

Would give zero stars if I could! This place tortures their animals and chops them up whilst still conscious. They break so many animal welfare laws and the people who work here are serial killers in the making. They electrocute them in their private parts which is illegal and causes them so much pain and they do this over and over to the same animals. They laugh at them when they're clearly terrified and berrate them. They put the dead animals in front of the live ones to scare them. Absolutely barbaric! This place needs shut down! Do not buy meat from here!

Hartshead Meats allows the dismemberment of animals in their abattoir while still conscious/alive. The amount of suffering inflicted by their workers while being witnessed by a vet and other animal welfare officials is beyond inhumane. Workers mock and laugh at the pain and suffering they inflict on the animals. This establishment need to be closed down to avoid more unnecessary suffering.

This company claimed the incensing censored footage released recently that is circulating online, had been “selectively edited” and “grossly misrepresents” its operations, insisting the material lacked “essential context” and distorted what it described as standard industry practices.

A spokesperson acting on behalf of Hartshead Meats told local media: “We recognise that people may be concerned by footage circulating online which grossly misrepresents what we do and how we do it.

“It has been recorded without consent and selectively edited. As a result, this footage lacks essential context and presents a distorted picture of standard industry working practices.”

The statement comes just days after the Food Standards Agency confirmed it had already taken enforcement action against individuals working at the site following review of CCTV footage covering slaughter operations inside the facility.The controversy is now intensifying scrutiny on Britain’s religious slaughter exemptions and raising fresh questions over how alleged welfare breaches were able to occur inside a licensed slaughterhouse operating under official supervision.

The whole world needs to see both the uncensored and censored versions of the undercover footage that was released about this hideous place. All forms of slaughter under one roof; halal kosher & British standard. Cutting the heads of fully conscious cows whilst they bellow in agony and fear should not be considered normal under any circumstance, and needs to be outright banned. The owners of this organisation were aggressive when confronted. They are profiting from the illegal practises of animal management but trying to maintain their innocence and control. This is unacceptable. Whether you eat meat or not, anyone can see that this organisation is breaking laws and needs to be shut down.
