The food was fast but afterwards I wish it didn’t come at all… The whole experience was so bad. It was cold, the food was cold fast and impossible to cut, their was only one bathroom stall with toilet paper and the service was not good. We also could only choose 5 pizza’s, which is the exact of stars they will never get. No pasta options because they can’t even operatie a machine properly and they are extremely slow with cleaning the tables (it wasn’t even really busy). I do NOT recommend. This was happy Italy at Wilhelminakade btw.

They have the best pasta and especially the Polo e Limone I had was the best! The service was very friendly and fast! Had a very good time there!

Bad service, cold and burnt pizza.
Saturday we ordered a take away pizza at Happy Italy Breda for pick up at 19.00.
We had to wait 20 minutes in line to finally found out that our pizza had been dropped at a table and was cold.
We felt the box felt cold too, so staff took the pizza back to the kitchen to have it reheated.
When we arrived home the pizza was cold again and black due to the reheating so we had to throw it away.
Happy Italy, I do not think so.

Nice restaurant with very tasty food and specially the strawberry pizza is ouaouuu💯💯
The service is good always helpful and with a smile😀 the restaurant is suitable for lunch and dinner

If you are into the ‘karen-restaurant’ experience, choose this restaurant, cause they will make you feel stupid… you will regret is so much it’s almost funny

Just a few things that happened:
- drops of blood in the playroom for kids, everywhere
- 1,5 hour waiting for 7 cold pizzas…
- …with 4 forks and knives!
- waitress was drunk as hell
- other waiter told us he only speaks english, but couldnt speak english
- you cannot cut your pizza, but you will want to cut one of the 7 different waiters we had
- none of the 7 waiters cleansed the table, the table was stacked with dishes when we ate our desert
- last but not least, we had to pay 198 euro’s, i saïd that could not be correct, they checked, it was 120 they said, still couldnt be correct, it was 76 they said, oké still not correct, cause it was actually more, but i guess we would let them have this one good point😂

Very bad pizza, impossible to cut with a knife, asked the chef to cut the pizza with a pizza-knife but he wasn’t able to cut either
There was no tea because the tea facilty was broken? Is boiling water to difficult?? Sorry but this was my last visit at (un)happy italy

We just arrived home from the restaurant in ENSCHEDE and we will not go Back there EVER AGAIN😡😡😡. The Gastvrouw was rude and even STUPID with her approach. Like we were there for FREE. Not professional at all, she was talking to us with bad attitude, she showed us the table like she was doing it against her will, with a very upset posture and being nasty. We went there to celebrate my sons 6 year birthday and it has been by far our worst experience ever. The waitress who served us was really nice, professional and friendly but even though we will never go back. Appalling customer approach from the awful " Gastvrouw". She spoiled our night. Do NOT recommend at all👎...

I went to Happy Italy for the movie deal and it was absolutely incredible. It beat every expectation by miles. We had two pastas and two deserts and they were so so so delicious. The service was fast and honestly, one of my favourite experiences in a restaurant in the Netherlands.

If I could give 0 stars i would. Customer Service was not helping with the problem. They did not offer any good solutions to the problem as the only solution was to cancel the order.
The problem was that i ordered through thuisbezorgd and the delivery time was around 40 minutes. After 20 minutes the time updated to nearly double the time. When i tried to contact the restaurant i couldnt. When I contacted the cs they gave the same answer that we cannot reach the restaurant directly but need to contact Thuisbezorgd.
After she told us to contact thuisbezorgd we realized that thuisbezorgd does not have a contact number online. So we decided to contact happy italy again. In order to get any solution I had to ask multiple times what she can do about it. Instead of giving a concrete solution they just blamed it fully on thuisbezorgd. After multiple questions, she finally contacted thuisbezorgd. By the end of the call the cs informed us that a driver will be at the restaurant in 10 min. She then said bye and ended the call without giving time for any other questions.
What a customer service, right??

If you wanty somebody to "smack the fck out of you" please visit this restaurant. This franchise has to be the worst example of the new economy. Enslaved personel pushing unhealthy food in a forced happy environment with a picture of a fascist on their uniforms. Please NEVER visit.

For example, in the past:

Pasta Carbonara: old price 6.75, now 13.95
Pasta Al Salmone: old price 7.75, now 15.00
The cheapest pasta was 4.75, now it is 9.95!

Instead of Coca Cola, they now serve Pepsi. For the same price!!

The quality of the food has also declined. So basically, paying more for less quality. I don't like it anymore and I don't even recommend it anymore.

We ordered 2 pasta’s online for 19:15. When we arrived we were not received by anyone. We waited 30 minutes until we got our food.

They didn’t bring our water, waited like 20 minutes. Really bad food, staff was unfriendly and it was overall a bad experience. Never eating here again.

We went with a group of 25, the menu for a group has reduced options and you have to pay drinks on the side, so it ends up costing more than going with less people. In the end we asked for 15 shots of limoncello, they said we might as well order a bottle and then made us pay for 20 limoncello shots, because they don't have a price for a full bottle, so it ended up costing more as well. And we saw a mouse inside the restaurant.

The pizza was very delicious
The pizza was very delicious but I would like the staff were more smiling.

For the third time visiting Happy Italy, the first two times the edges of the pizza were burned black, the third time the entire bottom of the pizza was almost completely black, way over cooked,
We brought this to the attention of the waiters and because we had consumed a slice of the pizza she said we shouldn’t had eaten any of it if we did in t like it .
I honestly don t believe I will go back there.

I never write reviews, but this was the worst restaurant I've ever visited. Terrible food, hairs in the meals, using dirty cloths to wipe tables, ridiculously bad service, etcetera. It's a total mystery why so many people go to this place. How on earth can you mess up a pizza or a pasta bolognese this bad.

We had alot of hair in our food and we felt a little sick after eating, 6/8 people had hair in their food, we had to wait long and had some trouble with getting in

The waitress was very rude and mean to my friends and the other customers. Plus she wasn’t open for communication and she yelled at everyone. Never coming here again!
