€47 for Cold, Soggy, Unacceptable Food

Ordered from the Dappermarkt store today. Everything arrived cold. Zinger burgers weren’t crispy, chicken bites tasted old and rubbery, fries were like cold mashed potatoes, and the tenders had more batter than chicken. All this for €47. Completely unacceptable. KFC and Uber delivery are a disgrace in Amsterdam.

How this famous food not living up to International Reputation.

I went to the new KFC yesterday Dec 2025 in Moreton Wirral expecting the Typical KFC experience…
The small but adequate location was extreamly clean lots of Staff all smiling and pleasant… easy to order system … I wanted a 10 piece bucket for two to share with fry’s …
What took no longer the 5 mins waiting… excellent so far… the Takeaway “Bag “ arrived and was given by a very pleasant young lady.
Got home food presentation in small bag four bags like the old quarter ounce sweet bags from a long gone era.. smallest fry’s I have ever had and soggy to say the least not a nice taste .. but it’s all about the Chicken from Colonel Saunders recipe But the chicken ( we choose boneless) not much bigger than nuggets from another famous fast food out let.. very small and the taste OMG so much salt and spice… not a good taste..
I’ve had KFC all over the globe and I’m afraid this was not KFC as I would know and the Food was a complete let down. This warrants a look into by the Management what has changed so much from the original KFC as I remember..
I won’t be buying here again and is not the food I remember and was expecting.

Better to stay hungry than wait for KFC Netherlands’ disgraceful service

I had one of the worst experiences in any fast-food restaurant at KFC Leiderdorp in May 2025. My order (#586) disappeared from the screen after a couple of minutes — marked as “completed” even though nothing had been served.
We waited 25–30 minutes for a simple €36 order, approached staff and the manager twice, and received no explanation, no apology, nothing.

But what happened afterward was even worse.

KFC Netherlands ignored my attempts to contact them for months.
When they finally replied, their “compensation” was a FriendsCard — a discount card that works only in the Netherlands and for a very limited time. They did this despite knowing I live in Germany. In other words, they deliberately sent me something they knew I couldn't use.

I then explained why this was unacceptable. Their next answer?

> “We are unable to offer you any compensation other than sending you a Friends Card.”

And finally:

> “We will definitely take your feedback into consideration.”

This is a textbook example of a company that tries to cover up poor service with empty templated replies. No responsibility, no real solution, no customer care.

Honestly, after this experience, it’s better to stay hungry than spend your time at KFC Netherlands.
A restaurant where the order disappears from the system as “completed” and is delivered half an hour later — with management fully aware — is not a restaurant you can trust.

This is not a one-location problem.
This is a system failure, supported by management and confirmed by their own responses.

Extremely disappointing and absolutely not recommended.

Purchase the Cajun Turkey at Blossom…

Purchase the Cajun Turkey at Blossom Hill KFC.

I appreciated the clean bathrooms, a holiday fesitive atmosphere in the store, but when I ordered the turkey and picked up it was awful experience. I Did not appreciate the male staffer coming on to me as I walked into the store.
The phone call
A Female staff Yelled at me on the phone to pick up turkey now or it's in the freezer.?

Arrived to the KFC, asked if turkey okay to eat? No direct answer given. Noticed the female staff moves away from the counter towards the back of the store.
"Is it a crime to not pick up turkey when I indicated".
Where is the adult in the store?

The KFC brand has hit the skids in my opinion.

Awful overall experience

For the first time in our lives we went to the KFC on Queen Street in Ayr. As all of the tables inside were dirty, we found a reasonable place to sit outside. There was no one to take the orders. When finally someone came, we ordered a combination menu featuring a chicken burger, Zinger wings, fried cookie dough, fries and gravy. He clearly didn’t like his job, as he wasn’t too happy to take our order. While waiting for our order, we were asked two times what we were doing or needed (did he forget we just ordered?) When we got our order, one of the zinger wing was clearly raw. The boy at the counter acknowledged and just walked away. Another one came to inspect the piece, which was already thrown away, stating that this was okay by their standards. The marinade was the cause of it… strangly the other pieces didn’t have this problem. All with all, an awful experience and the last time we set food inside a KFC.

The Worst Dining Experience at KFC La Rambla, Barcelona

Today, I had the single worst purchasing experience I have ever encountered at Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at La Rambla, 114, 08002 Barcelona, Spain. I feel compelled to bring this to your direct attention.

We are a family that travels extensively across the globe, and never—anywhere—have we experienced such an appalling level of service in any dining establishment.

We entered the restaurant around 17:00 today and placed our order through the mandatory self-service kiosk. After completing the order and payment, I realized I had forgotten to add coleslaw. At the time, the restaurant’s electronic screens were clearly advertising coleslaw at a significantly reduced price when added to a meal, compared to purchasing it separately.

When I collected our order, I informed the staff member that I had forgotten to include coleslaw and asked if I could add it now. The young man at the counter told me to go to the register. There, the cashier insisted I had to pay full price since it had not been included in the original order—even though my meal was still on the counter right in front of her.

I explained that this could not possibly be fair: if a customer makes a mistake on KFC’s mandatory digital ordering system, surely it should not mean “too bad, now you must pay more.” It was not the money—it was the dismissive, arrogant attitude of the staff.

I asked to speak with the manager. The manager repeated the same answer in the same condescending tone. A third staff member—apparently in some form of supervisory role—joined in only to lecture me further with the same dismissive arrogance. At this point, I simply said: “Fine. I won’t argue with you any further—you will hear my opinion officially on Trustpilot.”

To make matters worse, the chicken we received did not live up to KFC’s famous slogan, “It’s Finger Lickin’ Good.” In fact, it was burnt, dry, and far below the standard one expects from your brand.

I cannot help but question whether there has been a decline in quality control across KFC globally. For context, I would remind you that every single KFC outlet in Denmark was shut down due to fraudulent practices involving falsified expiry dates on meat. Today, KFC has no operations in Denmark at all—a fact worth reflecting upon.

One thing is certain: after this disgraceful experience, I will never, ever, ever purchase food from Kentucky Fried Chicken again—anywhere in the world.

Total garbage

Absolutely unacceptable. I ordered from KFC Tilburg, waited a ridiculous 1 hour and 30 minutes, and instead of getting my food, my order was just cancelled. No warning, no apology, no attempt to make it right — just radio silence until my evening was already wasted. This is not a minor slip‑up, it’s a total failure in customer care. If a global brand can’t deliver food in a reasonable time or communicate with paying customers, what’s the point? Never again. If i could only give 0 stars ..

Poor service

Went to kfc as my daughter likes the veggie tenders. As it happens they don’t have any veggie option available in Venlo. We sat on the second floor and chose the option to have the food delivered to the table. It all arrived ( after quite some waiting) but without napkins. After asking for them the lady told me I had to get them myself - it wasn’t her job to bring me napkins. So I went downstairs again to find that none of the dispensers where refilled.

Very bad kfc,
Personeel cannot speak Dutch (by drive thru) I'll got not what I had ordered, the burger was cold because i had to wait almost 45 minutes, when i rejected the cold burger he takes it and gave me another cold burger including so much salt on top of it dat after a bite i throw it away.
I will never go to kfc again.
In my opinion they don't deserve even one ⭐

Waited 2 hours for our food

Waited 2 hours for our food. Two hours. Two Burgers. Judging by the many other bad reviews, this isn’t a one-off. KFC, your name is on the building, and what’s happening inside is a joke.
