We got a sofa made by Shaun which arrived just before Christmas. The fabric we chose was a very difficult pattern to match up as the pattern was not the same all over. When it finally arrived it exceeded our expectations by miles, not because we were worried that Shaun would not do a good job but because of our choice of fabric. The sofa is absolutely wonderful and so comfortable and looks perfect in our room. Through the whole process of the sofa being made Shaun was fantastic and covered every little detail of our requirements, we can honestly say hand on heart we would not use any other company to make a sofa should we need another and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Shaun for making us very happy.

Be extremely careful in your choice of fabric covering.
We ordered two sofas which when delivered looked excellent, unfortunately the next day after sitting on one of the sofas for just one evening, the pressure marking on the seat cushions, a permanent markings resembling dirt which starts immediately and only gets worse, looked terrible. They were inspected by the fabric supplier who confirmed it was pressure marking. Eventually it was agreed to recover the sofas, unfortunately by the very next day exactly the same happened again and is now so bad we are ashamed of them.
Having spent nearly £5K on the two sofas our only option is to despatch them to the tip.

Update

When you spend a considerable amount of money on what you expect to be quality sofas you would hope they stay looking as good as the day they were delivered for many years. If you were warned they would permanently mark you would not place an order.
Neither the brochure nor the large fabric off-cut sample kindly loaned included any warnings. Only after the problem occurred were we quoted the T&Cs.
We were kindly loaned another large sample of the second fabric, again no warning labels, we were advised to sit on it, but without being held taught, when made up into a seat cushion, it was not a fair test. Unfortunately he was not prepared to re-cover one seat cushion as a test. He was concerned that when he ordered the fabric for the remainder it would not match perfectly with the test seat cushion. Having had twelve months of numerous telephone calls, emails and letters, together with all the stress that it caused we certainly did not want the same to happen again.
Our experience does beg the question why, if he was aware that the second fabric would pressure mark, was he prepared to re-cover the sofas in a fabric he knew would pressure mark at some considerable expense to himself not to mention our contribution?
We would not have chosen a fabric if we had been advised exactly the same would happen again.

We have used Shaun for all our sofas, footstools, headboards, cushions and stools and have recommended him to many of our friends and family.
The choice of fabrics is great and the quality first class.

Having purchased a sofa from them before, I know the quality is great and they have an excellent choice of fabrics. We decided to order an additional sofa and chair. These were made to our custom requirements with a lovely fabric of our choice. They have turned out lovely! It's great to see there are places that still offer great service craftsmanship and attention to detail.

We love our sofas, they look beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent. Would highly recommend.

The service was very professional both whilst visiting the shop to make our choices and the quality of the products. Mr Bott went out of his way to show us how the furniture is made in the workshop and contacted the manufacturer of the material we chose to line up the material. We are delighted with our settees and chairs-skilfully made.
