Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very flexible and descent pricing.

I rented 2 lightset fixtures and a DDJ400.
Pricing was good and very flexible to arrange the renting. Very relax guy, open and understanding to feedback. Also very fluid in English.
TL:DR , I would rent from him again and would recommend to others.

I was able to schedule pickup and return outside of regular office hours.
I was able to pay deposit in DKK or EUR.
Although I expected the rent to be for 24 hours, it was actually for 48 hours. Very nice.

I picked/returned the goods at the warehouse myself.
This was a little hard to find as it's a shared storage building without the name of the company on the outside. But with a quick call I could enter the facility and park right in front of the storage.

To my surprise the light fixtures did not come with a flightcase or bags. I would have liked to see some protection and I've had a chat with him about it. Apparently people get scared of when they have to travel with flightcases as they don't fit in the car.
When shipped they are in flightcases.
He was looking to get some padded bags for them.

The light set that shows a laser on the video was not present, which I can understand as it requires operational know how. The pictures on the website are correct.

The lights are LED based, which helps with power draw and also with more sturdiness compared to bulb based units.
I've suggested to combine the flower and scanner on a single set. The flower is really (really) bright and two on a bar is really overkill. A combo would be ideal to place one or two of them.

The lights had all power cables attached with a mix of danish and shucko. This was a little tricky to get hooked up as I had to find convertors.
He was looking into this and probably would swap all out for shucko (perhaps add a danish adapter).

The lights operate autonomous on music.
Set-and-Forget approach.
All gear was DMX capable. This would require a controller and cabling. He was able to provide these as well upon request. For my purpose it was not needed.
I would strongly recommend using a smoke machine or a hazer. He is able to provide renting for smoke machines as well.
We already had our own smoke machine.

The DDJ400 came in a carrying case with a few cables. I remember a stereo RCA-RCA, dual RCA-dual 6.3mm Jack, dual RCA-dual XLR and a USB cable. No headphones are provided. The DDJ400 has only got RCA main out and a 3.5mm headphone output.
The controller needs to be connected to a Windows or Mac OSX system. It has no ASIO support, which was suprising, but not related to the rent itself. The unit was working without problems and after creating an account with Pioneer I could use recordbox with ease. Other software also worked (serato/virtualj).

Due to an accident on my end the headphone jack got broken and this part had to be replaced, which we looked over and made an arrangement for a part of the deposit. He was very relaxed about it and was going to replace the part from the Pioneer dealer in Denmark.

Unfortunately I was unable to get a system that could run the DJ software without issues. I don't run Windows or Mac myself and using my online account credentials for music services on an unknown machine was a nogo.
Running Windows in a VM was not working properly with the audio (remember no ASIO).
So I ended up not actually using the DDJ400, but from what I could tell it would have been working fine.

We had a nice chat afterwards regarding the A/V options he was able to provide along with some feedback. All in all it was a very good experience and nothing but upvotes for the service.
I really wish the site was also in English so I could have checked already. Google translate helped out.

Next year I will be informing the organization to see where our A/V is lacking so we can rent some additional items, which saves me from bringing them.

Thanks a lot !
