This collar, colloquially, “ain’t worth a darn”. Never mind training the dog on the fence with it, half the time I need to give a correction nothing happens, or if something does happen the dog doesn’t even react. Weak shock and terrible gps locations. It might work on your 15 pound yorkie, but on a working dog you’re better off calling animal control. Would not recommend, and plan on returning mine.

This is the third time I've had to replace a collar. I have two dogs and two collars, and both have failed at least once—now a third time. I'm starting to regret ever recommending this product.

We have been using our Halo collar on our now 11 month old pup since we rescued her at 5 months old. She is a 15 breed mix (if you can believe it!) but mostly Australian Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, and Chow Chow— 100% goodest girl! She loves having the freedom the Halo gives her. We bring her everywhere we can, love the walk feature and never doubt that she has a safe area during our travels. We tell everyone about the Halo!!

The Halo collars have been a game changers for our pups and lifestyle. We don’t have a fenced in yard but our dogs kept running off our property. We need a convenient way to keep them safely in our yard and Halo was the solution! Our dogs became easily trained to the boundaries!

Customer Service is Great! I did relay to the customer service rep that I am not fond of the newest collar design as the strap is too flimsy. I have been a customer since 2022. I like the heavier strap. The new one broke after a couple of months. I didn't have that problem with the older style collar. The rivets just popped and my dog lost his collar. Thankfully it was still online and I was able to locate it. The new magnetic charge port is finicky as well. Doesn't always want to engage. Have to take up to 10 minutes sometimes to get it to light up and flash. I do however love the Halo collars in that I can let my dogs roam on our farm all day while I'm at work and have that peace of mind that they will be OK all the while checking in on them with the app on my phone. I wouldn't be able to do that without the Halo collar. It's an amazing product and worth the money.

I have been using halo collars for more than 3 years now. We are still extremely happy with them and glad they are a part of our hobby farm life. We will never go without! Our support and all help from the halo collar staff has been very helpful and quick! It’s never a bother to get something figured out. Their products have been excellent too! I have recommended these collars to many people! My most recent customer support was again wonderful, quick, and happily solved my problems!

Excellent customer support. I was hesitant to have a video call, but it was refreshing to see a real person was there to help me. Monica was very helpful with my problem- we received a message that a problem had been found with our Halo collar and that we needed to verify our address in order to be sent a replacement. The link was not working for us, but Monica was able to clarify that some links were glitching and immediately sent me a link that worked. I was amazed at how quickly I got through to a person and also how quickly Monica resolved my issue- well done to Monica & Halo for great customer service!

The $600 collar + $150 service subscription didn't work for us. The network GPS connectivity was too inconsistent for the virtual fence to function correctly, and the feedback stimulus was too weak for our husky. We gave it a college try but stopped using the product because it didn't work.
A year later, we were charged $150 for an additional annual subscription. We contacted support to be refunded. We were told that we could be refunded because they examined ur account and saw that we hadn't been using the service. They emailed us and asked us to provide a receipt, and then they would forward us to the refund team.
We did so, jumped through all the hoops, and then support said we couldn't be refunded after all, but would escalate the matter to see if an exception could be made.
After two weeks, they have remained unresponsive to several emails requesting a status update and a refund. They outsource their support to an overseas call center that responds with scripted, boilerplate language to meet their quotas, rather than treating people like individuals. We dropped $600 for a collar that didn't work, paid the $150 for a service that we didn't use, and then a year later, when we got charged again, all we were asking for was a $150 refund out of the $900 we spent, and they won't respond—rediculous and atrocious customer service.
Don't give this company your money. We indeed found cheaper alternatives to their product that work a lot better.
