We had hand and foot casts done by Elle at Halcyon Casts when our daughter was just 2 weeks old, and I honestly couldn't recommend her more.

Elle was so lovely, patient and gentle with our newborn, and made the whole experience really easy and relaxed. She was also brilliant to communicate with and always quick to reply on WhatsApp.

The finished casts are absolutely beautiful and capture every tiny detail perfectly. The quality is amazing and so much better than casts we'd previously had done by another company.

We're so happy with them and they'll be something we treasure forever. If you're thinking about getting casts done for your little one, I'd highly recommend Elle at Halcyon Casts!

I first met Elle at Halcyon Casts six years ago, when my son was born, and we had his tiny prints captured. Even then, the care, patience, and attention to detail were incredible – it felt like such a special way to preserve those fleeting early moments.
Six years later, I returned with both my son and my daughter to have new prints done, and once again I was blown away. Elle’s work is truly amazing not only beautifully crafted, but full of warmth and meaning. She has such a talent for making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable, especially with young children.

The finished pieces are absolutely stunning and something I will treasure forever. I can’t recommend Halcyon Casts highly enough such a lovely experience from start to finish, and the results speak for themselves.

What a phenomenal encounter! Right from our initial inquiry, Elle's communication stood out, being exceptionally prompt and providing all the details we needed. The booking process was straightforward, and confirmation arrived instantly upon payment.The day of the session was a delight; the ambiance was serene, and my son felt right at home. We were greeted warmly with a smile and offered tea or coffee before beginning. I appreciated how Elle meticulously walked us through each step. It was our first foray into casting, and Elle showed great gentleness with my son, handling everything with immense care. Although my son is usually sensitive about having his hands touched, Elle's approach put him at ease, and I was thrilled to see him smile throughout the molding process. We loved our casting experience with Elle. My son was 12 weeks old at the time and she instantly made us all feel very comfortable. Absolutely thrilled with the framed casts. Beautiful keepsake. Elle was a joy to interact with - very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend.

I met Elle and Max by accident when a small and very beautiful bronze statue of mine of a ballerina sustained some damage. I needed an artist who understood bronze to carry out an invisible repair - not a simple undertaking.

Max proved to be an extremely skilled metal worker. He was able to work out the most effective way to do the repair and succeeded beyond my expectations.

My ballerina is back to her beautiful best and the repair is almost impossible to see with almost no collateral damage to the original patina.

While I watched Max at work I was able to admire Elle’s artistry and saw some of the lovely sculptures she had created for other clients.

The casts of our baby Lily's hand and feet in bronze were outstanding. The level of detail and finish was beautiful. We are so glad we got the cast made when Lily was only 8 weeks old. Now 6 months the size difference is big, a keep sake of the most precious kind. I got hand and foot casts done for both my babies and i couldn’t love them more. They are so detailed and perfect they make me happy everytime i look at them. Elle is so lovely and makes you feel so comfortable even when the babies dont play ball. Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you so much x

Elle was amazing from start to finish, the booking process was really simple from the initial contact form on her website to the WhatsApp messages. Upon arrival Elle was nothing but super attentive, offering coffee and tea, a clean safe space to change our baby and also a supportive ear. The latter meant the most, she offered a listening ear in those early weeks with our newborn and it was super lovely and very meaningful. For that I’ll be forever grateful. The process of casting was so speedy and Elle took care to ensure our baby was content before starting and also cleaning her up nicely after! The sneak peeks along the way were so exciting and something Elle had asked us if we wanted and ensured to check if we were happy for them to be shared on social media which was a lovely touch. She contacted us swiftly when they were ready to organise collection. When we unwrapped them we couldn’t believe the most intricate detailed captured, they’re truly beautiful and something we can treasure of those first weeks forever! Thank you Elle, if we’re lucky enough to have more babies we’ll for sure be hearing your way!

Elle was so amazing with our little girl and worked around feeding, changing etc. She put us all at ease in the early days of parenthood and gave us the most precious memory of our babies hands and feet. I cannot recommend her products highly enough.

Elle provided a safe and comfortable environment for my children, which was really important with a newborn and 6 year old. And the service was brilliant. My eldest really enjoyed making the casts and we were thrilled to see the end product in a frame. I’d definitely recommend! Thank you Elle!

What an amazing experience!
Even before we had the session booked, Elle’s communication was top-tier, very responsive and gave all the information we needed. Booking form was very very clear and once payment was made we received confirmation straight away.

The date of the session was simply beautiful, the space is so peaceful and my son was very comfortable. We were welcomed with a smile and a cup of tea/coffee and the session began. What I loved is that Elle talked us through the process and was very thorough. This was myself and son’s first time doing casting. Elle was very gentle with my son and did everything with such care! My son is very funny with having his hands touched but that was no problem for Elle, as she was doing the molds my son was smiling which made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Elle has kept me up to date on the progress of our castings and we’re so happy with the service!

Words cannot describe what a wonderful experience the whole process with Elle is! From the minute we got in touch, everything was an absolute joy. Having seen Elle’s handiwork before with my nephews there was nowhere else we would have gone but even seeing the finished product didn’t prepare us for just how special the whole thing would feel. Even before the session there had been plenty of contact, Elle even remembered the bespoke sized frames my sister in law had chosen as we wanted ours to match the others. From the moment we arrived at Elle’s studio, we felt relaxed. She is so kind and patient and our chunky little boy was instantly taken with her and the most amazing muslin she has to hand. Everything is baby-led, from being able to feed the baby to having a little changing station set up. After the session, we had regular updates and even last minute we decided on another duplicate and it was all catered for. We live over an hour away so Elle even took the most incredible steps to get our frames to us fully protected to save us driving to pick them up. We are absolutely besotted with the final product and cannot recommend highly enough…we cannot wait to get some future milestone work done!
