This is a very sharp useful knife. It works well slicing meat or chopping ginger and garlic. The shape is easier to use with a rocking motion to slice through scallions or shred ginger.

The haarko is a great knife for smoked brisket.
The haarko is a great knife for chopping veggies and slicing smoked brisket. Works on smoke aged summer sausage also. Shipping was faster than I expected.paired with the matsato you have a winning pair. Liked them so well I bought both for close family and friends that like to cook out like I do.

Received but not ordered

I have responded to this company after reading the email sent through Trust Pilot. I reiterated that I do not have an order number since I did not order it in the first place. It feels like we are just going around in circles. I just want to verify Haarko does not use my credit card and how I can return this unwanted knife. I used the url given in their correspondence and have found no form they asked me to fill in.
It feels like the this will never be resolved. Still I am hoping…
Buyer beware is a good slogan to live by. However I was not buying the Haarko knife I received by mail from China. I did not order this knife.
Immediately, I sent an email to say I did not order this knife, and certainly did not want it.
I received a form response saying they were ALL too busy to give a full response but ‘they’ would get back to me “soon”.
I was told to have my order number with my tracking number ready to give to whomever I would eventually speak to about a refund! This was all too familiar, in fact, it was exactly word for word from another company I received an automatic response from. I looked for this knife under Haarko which is the name on the box holding knife. I found it under Seido Knives on the internet.
I believe a legitimate order I made using my credit card has been used again but for a product I did not order. I also believe I am dealing with distribution company with shady, and unethical selling and marketing strategies.
I am talking to my bank to ensure any further charges to my credit card are not covered by any of these unscrupulous companies. But I want others to be aware that your credit card information may be shared by some companies which are dishonest. So many ways for crooked companies to cheat or scam us these days!

This is the highest quality knife for the money, My wife and I not only use it, but display it on a magnetic rack out side the cabinet.
I cannot recommend it highly enough. In Navy parlance, this knife rates a 'Bravo Zulu', very well done!

Excellent quality definitely worth the price!
The customer service was excellent. The product is definitely worth the price. I use the two I have at least once a day when cooking or preparing ingredients for my wife to cook. I cannot recommend them enough.
