I ordered a product and a week went by…
I ordered a product and a week went by without an update (said ‘in progress’), I reached out to support and the AI bot gave me generic info then a real person said they needed to get information from another department. I was never updated from the other department. Then I randomly was refunded without an explanation and had to reach out to support to understand why and they said it was sold out. Why would your website advertise a product as if it’s in stock if it truly isn’t? It doesn’t make sense. This was my first ever Gymshark purchase and I ended up disappointed. Not a good first impression, I’ve never had this experience with an online order.

Customer service helped me perfectly
I made an error with my order so I contacted customer service, they replied within 10 minutes and gave me a perfect solution to my problem. They offered me a refund and I even received the money the same day.

Bad Cut and Bad fit
We ordered three items. Sizing of all three was wrong. The male vest top was way too short and much shorter than the one we previously ordered. The female t shirt was way too long and much too big.

Gymshark ruined their brand w/ Vital 2.0
Gymshark ruined their brand with Vital 2.0—now they fit terribly, the shorts are awkwardly long, and the waistband now sits higher up (nearly touching your boobs), is suffocatingly tight, and no longer compresses the lower tummy—literally the most important area to compress. The extra tight 2.0 waistband no longer sits flush on your body but now digs into your waist so much that your skin and fat protrude—even if you are very toned with very little body fat. Sizing up does not help. I have the original vital shorts in both XS and S and neither does this. I had to exchange for size M in the vital 2.0 and they are still so uncomfortably tight. I’m constantly pulling on the waistband to relieve pressure and it takes me out of the moment, making it really difficult to focus. The waistband also rolls/folds at the top now when you sit, it’s weird, and creates the biggest mega pouch because it sits just above lower stomach—literally pushing that area outward. I felt like a confident badass in my original vitals but now when wearing vital 2.0 I just feel insecure and uncomfortable. They give off the illusion that you’ve gained weight or are super bloated because they are so awkwardly tight. The end seam on the legs is also tighter and digs into your thighs. They are just awful to wear and no longer flattering whatsoever. I’m so sad they altered the design. They were my go to athletic wear but now they kinda suck. What in the hell were they thinking. I will be looking for an alternative brand.
