Temper your expectations on delivery times
I suppose with all online companies, sometimes products that look like they're in stock are not!
Otherwise prices seem ok.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you have been inconvenienced.
Sometimes multiple orders of a said wine can occur that renders the wine out of stock, but this might not show for a while until our systems update.
If a purchased wine becomes out of stock, we can usually source and restock this wine within a week or two (sometimes days).
I believe we emailed you outlining that a wine you had purchased had gone out of stock, but we would have this back in stock within two weeks maximum (and not 'sometime this year' as you now state).
We apologised for the inconvenience caused. We also said that we were happy if you wished to cancel your order if you did not wish to wait that long. You replied to this email, stating that you were happy to wait.
Payment is taken at the point of submitting an order. This is the same for everyone making an order with us. We always respond to online customer payments 1. to let them know that we have received their order 2. to let them know when we can deliver/ask for any delivery instructions, and 3. make the customer aware of any delay.
I can assure you that we are not here to simply take money nor are any of us monkeys. I feel that in circumstances such as this one, I would prefer to return your money and that you shop elsewhere. I shall give instruction for your payment to be returned to the account in which it was paid from.

I had to order a case of wine at short notice and Ruth could not have been more helpful.

Overall good service
Overall good service, there was a problem with the courier however that was quickly resolved. Only down side is that even after requesting shipping information none was provided. This would vastly improve the service. Will use this company again.

We try our best to resolve these issues swiftly and with the least inconvenience to our customer as possible. Your remarks on your request for shipping information have been duly noted and taken into account. Although we do not have an automated system that notifies us immediately when a delivery has been made, the majority of our courier deliveries are next day and when we confirm an order providing delivery date we state this. I apologise for this being missed on this occasion with yourself. We look forward to seeing you again.
