Scammers

My friend was completely scammed by this group and ended up with tanked credit and having to close her LLC. They collected money for months after supposedly "closing" her account but never telling her. Shame on you! Do NOT trust these scam artists. Sge is themost honest person I know. I bet any of their good reviews were paid for or written by them. They did NOTHING for the money they received.

I have also been scammed by Greenstone…

I have also been scammed by Greenstone Legal and need some assistance in how to get my money back from them. Would someone please post a link to help me get more information in how to get back the money they stole from me? I would like to be included as a plaintiff.

Do not trust this company with any money.

I have been paying Greenstone Financial consistently for years. Suddenly they sent me a letter saying they can no longer represent me because they are being sued. This means anything they negotiated no longer stands and i am at square one. Absolutely nothing has been accomplished. I went to their website to change my bank information so i wouldn't be charged anymore but they continue to take money with my old info. I now have to have my account frozen so they cannot access more money.

I want to help out others like me when you want to cancel

So this company will not settle your debt unless they sue you. Also it can take years before a credit company sue you and there are fees and you have to pay them....I want to help out others like me when dealing with this company, 1st you can cancel with them and if they are paying a debt that you went to court over stop them from paying and you can take over payments and it is cheaper. My payment from 484 to 370 and that 370 goes onto straight to my settlements, so that 484 that other money goes to all of your fees that goes straight to their pockets

I can't give it even one star

I can't give it even one star, I signed with this company to help me with the consolidation of my accounts and 13 months have passed and I receive a letter from the court about an account that was included with them and when I call them they tell me no Can you help me since their lawyers are busy and then they send me an email saying that they can no longer represent me but they still continue to withdraw the money from my account, when trying to connect with them it is almost impossible for me to spend like 6 hours to connect. I recommend this company at all.

If I could give this company a zero I would. Nothing but lies, no communication. It's a scam. Also, be wary of Trustpilot. I have received communication from them to alter my review to help a company out. The review was true and I will be posting about that as this transpires. Consumers are losing the battle to dishonest companies.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!

After the Covid-19 Pandemic, we found ourselves overwhelmed with over $70,000 worth of debt.
We decided to sign a debt settlement retainer agreement with Strategic Financial Solutions d/b/a Greenstone Legal Group with the promise that we could settle the entirety of our debt in less than 5 years.
We were placed on a payment schedule starting 8/30/23 to end on 7/30/28. Despite receiving payments, Greenstone Legal Group failed to resolve any of the debts or enter any payment arrangements on our behalf. We believe this to be a potential violation of federal law.
Instead, we are now being sued by our creditors for outstanding balances owed, causing us to have to deal with stressful litigation, default judgments and plummeting credit scores. This has caused irreparable damage to our financial reputation.
We attempted to contact Greenstone Legal Group to discuss the cancellation of our contract so we could seek financial assistance elsewhere but were unsuccessful. We discovered there was a pending lawsuit naming them as a Defendant. We were therefore, forced to hire legal representation to assist us with terminating our contract.
Our attorney demanded that they terminate our contract and refund the fees paid (approximately $3,499.07), to in turn only receive a refund check in the amount of $536.22.
Only after having our attorney send a demand letter, we received an email proposing settlement for one of the debts. This is the first and only settlement offer we received.
We feel that Greenstone Legal Group has committed fraud by keeping $2,962.85 of the money paid to for empty promises and would like to have them reviewed for unethical practices. We have reason to believe that there are hundreds of other clients who are faced with similar situations.
Currently, we are faced with the unfortunate circumstance of having to file for bankruptcy.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!

Thieves and Liars

Please, if you read this-and many other- review stating that Greenstone is terrible and not to get involved, BELIEVE THEM!!! Greenstone Legal Group is nothing but a scam, 100%. Yo make a long story short, we entered into an agreement with them to help negotiate some debt settlement and after 15 months of paying into the program…..nothing. We received several offers to settle or debt from the creditors which we promptly turned over to Greenstone only to have them do nothing. Then we received a summons from court after discovering that one of the creditors was suing us. We turned that promptly over to them also. Their whole spiel is that they are there to protect you from collection efforts while trying to negotiate settlements. Well they failed. Just recently we received a letter from the court stating that the creditor had won their case against us for “failure to contact the court or respond to the summons”. So basically, Greenstone did nothing! They keep about half the money that you send as “payment for services rendered” however, it is plain to see that they don’t actually render anything but lies. We have since canceled our agreement with them. We did get some money back but only about half of what we put in. And we negotiated directly with the creditors and had deals to pay half the original debt in one day. Wonder why Greenstone couldn’t have done that. I implore you to stay far far away from this group. They will tell you nothing but lies and rob you of your money.

Just a Ponzi scheme with credit debt. STAY AWAY.

My husband signed up for their debt consolidation services in late summer/early fall 2023. Seemed like a normal sort of place, they said it could be 7-8 months before credit card companies accepted settlements and in the meantime we were making monthly payments and dealing with constant calls from credit companies - which we referred to the Greenstone Legal Group, as instructed. After 9 then 10 months of uploading all our received documents as instructed and having nothing marked as settled yet, we tried to get hold of them and kept getting sent to voicemail or cut off.

Finally we chose a 'wrong' option from their phone routing system and got a person who basically told us that Greenstone legal was being sued and they were no longer able to do debt consolidations. SO, we had paid them 10 monthly payments, they did absolutely nothing, meanwhile all our cards went into collections as well as had tons of fees tacked on, credit score plummeted, and interest rates raised. Now Greenstone has sent back a *portion* of the money we paid in. Like a Ponzi scheme but with credit card debt. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY.

AVOID THIS PROGRAM!

AVOID THIS PROGRAM!! I have been in the "program" almost 11 months and they have yet to negotiate anything or pay any of my creditors. I have complained by email and they write back that I need to call customer service. I tried that and every time I have sat on HOLD for over an hour and no one ever answers. They continue to deduct $600 per month from my bank account and that totals over $6000 now but Global Holdings says I only have $2000 saved up to pay creditors...the rest went to "FEES". This is robbery. I tried to get Legal Aid of Iowa to help me get my money back and they say there is nothing they can do. If I cancel my service all these FEES are NONREFUNDABLE. I have no idea whatcto do now as 2 accounts have been sold to collection agencies now so those are completely out of my control now.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Don't sign up with this company! If I could give them zero stars I would. When we initially signed up they were so helpful. Now we are almost a year into it and you have to remain on hold for nearly and hour and a half to speak to someone and still no help. I initiated this program, but somehow it got listed under my husbands name so when I call in to remove a debt or take care of any matter they say that my husband has to initiate it. That is nearly impossible when he works outside of their normal business hours. I feel completely stuck!

They will not communicate

They will not communicate, return calls or emails or even answer the phone. I upload documents to the portal but they do not update my accounts or balances or answer any questions.

Like the others

Like the others, once I signed the contract Greenstone has not communicated at all. I was told they would start negotiating and I would see a slight hit to my credit score. No one returns calls and I am now being told negotiations could take up to 8-10 months. This was not what I was told or I would have not did this. They continue to pull money from my account every month, but no one returns emails or calls.

Greenstone Legal

Apparently, Greenstone is undergoing internal legal issues and made zero effort to alert new customers who have already signed legally binding contracts. My credit is now horrible, creditors are calling, and Greenstone can't tell me anything besides they are having legal issues. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone.
