Easy to order and quick delivery, the paint was excellent quality.
Most reviews here seem to be about the ordering process and application of the paint - not many seem to review the experience of a few months living with the paint. And our experience is poor - the eggshell finish, in particular, seem particularly lacking in durability and resilience. It scratches and chips extremely easily in everyday use, requiring regular and tedious touch-ups.
I have now used a number of Graphenstone paints, on a mixture of complicated surfaces in very exposed locations, and have been extremely impressed by them. The paint applies beautifully whether brushed, rolled or sprayed. It covers really well, so needs less coats. Tradesmen say it is a joy to work with - the last one who I had work with it had never heard of it before and said it was his new favourite paint.
Technically, it is very impressive, and the CO2 absorbing quality of coatings is very clever. Effectively, over the first couple of months after application, it pulls CO2 out of the atmosphere and turns it into a stronger denser layer of paint - at the same time as having an environmental benefit. Genius!
The only criticism I have heard is that it is expensive. This is correct if you just look at the bare cost of a litre of paint. But it is misleading; you get more than you seem to pay for...
Firstly, most of the paints are supplied concentrated, so you dilute them with 10% to 50% water. This means you get more for your money and pay less for shipping. It's like having 10-50% discount on the list price.
Secondly, they are quicker to apply, so you save cost on labour, which is always more expensive than the pain itself.
Thirdly, they are very easy to clean up, again saving time.
Fourthly, coverage is excellent - on average I would say you need a coat less than typical paint.
Fifthly, because they are highly breathable, and stronger because of the graphene content, the paint will last a lot longer.
So while the tin is expensive, the job ends up costing less. Hard to calculate when you can't compare litre for litre, but all I can say is try it for yourself - you will see what I mean.
The final result looks beautiful. Next to another freshly painted house it just glows. For a white finish I can especially recommend their colour White Linen, which is a touch softer than a full white.
Graphenstone - GrafClean Interior Wall Paint
This is a poor paint with very low pigment density. After 3 coats it's still patchy. It sprays everywhere as well. Finally it only managed to do about 4 square m a whole 1 litre can. On the plus side it is breathable but I would not use this paint unless there was no other choice (e.g. humid wall)
Edit : downgrading this again to 1 star, i'd give it zero if I could - 36 hours later, taped with the blue masking tape to paint the wood around the wall and no matter how carefully i did this - this sh1te paint peeled off with the tape
I live in a property that is over 250 years old and I need to use decorating products that are sympathetic to the building. Graphenstone have a fantastic range of paint products for all applications. The colour range is fantastic. The direct ordering and delivery process works extremely well. My go to paint products.

The service I received from Graphenstone rep (Matt Tompkins) who made the effort to visit my property in person to discussed & help me with the exterior painting job in question was superb.
So much so I'm now purchasing my paint from them instead of other manufacturers.

Very helpful email communication, prompt response to queries. Few issues with the website along the way, but think teething problems during a changeover. Overall a lovely company to work with, with great products.

Graphenstone is our go-to paint. Started using them in 2018 and still coming back for more! Quite like their new colours with English Heritage so we used that this time for our daughter's bedroom makeover.
Customer service was helpful and the paint is super easy to use. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a eco paint that would not be toxic to me and my family and found the graphenstone eco paint! It will be third time using the company. I did have problem with mouldy corners in some of the rooms of my house the problem disappeared when I did paint them with the eco purifying paint.
Would highly recommend the paints and the company .

We are using Graphenstone for the first time to repaint our house, annex and barn, so I had lots of questions about different products and coverage. Matt at Graphenstone was really helpful in popping over and helping answer questions over the phone too. I ordered a few small pots to test out the L42 primer and GCS and 'filler' and I am really please with the way the primer and paint have adhered to the old paint and to the new lime render. (Loving the De Grey colour too!) Will be ordering enough for the whole house in a couple of weeks.

Great paint but a really terrible smell. We recently had three bedrooms painted. The first began to stink about 3 weeks after the job was finished. The smell was like cat wee. We didn't risk using the same tin for the other rooms and didn't have the same problem. If it's possible for paint to be off, then perhaps it was!

Fast delivery, well packaged. Not used paint as yet
Update. Now used on feature wall. Took 3 coats but the result is OUTSTANDING, real quality finish. If you want a painted wall with a superior look this is the one

Delivery was the worst I have experienced!! Next day delivery turned into 3 days of chasing the delivery company and ended up going to the depot to pick it up!!! Never using graphenstone again.

It's the first time that I have used graphenstone paints as I normally use other breathable paint systems. I definitely recommend this system as it's easy to use . The ratios are great as its water used to thin down the primer and first coat instead of the primer being used for thinning the first coat . And it has good coverage. 👍
