What a fantastic company, I’d rate 10 stars if it was possible. Kelly is lovely and is great at communicating info to you promptly. “Scott the Snagger” is fantastic, really friendly yet professional and has done an outstanding job. The report we received was detailed, but easy enough for us to understand what the issues were. Bonus points for the drone pictures! We couldn’t recommend SHICWC enough. Thank you so much for everything!

Scott was very friendly and professional. He gave me advice on certain snagging issues whilst he was at the house. I have a very keen eye for detail, and was glad to see everything I had noticed whilst living in the property was picked up by the professional, as well as many other things which I had not spotted myself. I would highly recommend getting in a surveyor to inspect your new house and ensure it meets the correct standards to prevent unwanted issues potentially further down the line. I would recommend Smart Homes Inspections to anyone for their services.

After using Smart Home Inspections for a post-completion and a pre 2 year builders warranty snag on our first house, we used them again for a post completion inspection on our new property and could not be happier again. An amazing service that really gives you the peace of mind you need when buying a new property. Even when we had questions/difficulties from developers months down the line they were always happy to respond, help and advise. Due to the temperature/time of the year when our latest inspection was done the thermal scanning wasn’t possible, however they happily came back at a later date to complete this with no questions asked. We cannot thank you enough for all of your work :-).

Well what can i say...first time buyers and with seeing all the nightmares on socials aboit new builds. We are so glad we had a professional snagger come and have a look!! Scott was extremely thorough and professional throughout the whole process. Explaining as he went along. Kelly is great no questions to big or small and always available!

Excellent service from start to finish

We booked a post completion survey for a new build property. From start to finish the service we’ve received has been impeccable. Kelly was very quick to respond and to organise a suitable date for our inspection. Scott was professional and polite throughout he took his time to inspect outside and inside the property as well as the roof cannot ask for better service would recommend 100% to others.

5 star from initial booking to carrying out the inspection, would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a thorough inspection Scott was a top bloke left no stone unturned. Thanks to all again.

Incredible service from initial booking and frequent updates from Kelly, to a five-hour inspection undertaken by Scott the day after getting keys to our new property. Scott is friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble and even offered to come back to our property at another date to look in our loft (as the access was jammed shut). Have recommended already to a friend of a friend and would not hesitate to use them again.

I was recommended this company by another homeowner on our development, and I am SO impressed with their professionalism right from booking the appointment with Kelly (which I had to change and she was very accomodating) through to receiving the report. Surveyor is professional and good at communication. Price is reasonable.

Kelly was great with the booking process from the onset, explaining what services were provided and promptly agreed an inspection date for us.

Scott turned up promptly at the agreed time and started his inspection of the house. He was so comprehensive with his checks and spent several hours going over every single part of the house externally and internally. Scott was very knowledgable, friendly and just got on with the job which was great.

The output report was returned to us the next day, which was written in a professional format with clearly numbered snags with pictures of each issue. This did all the work for us, enabling us to just pass the report over to our developer to address.

Overall we feel this was well worth the money, as Scott uncovered many issues that we would never have been aware of or been able to find ourselves.

We would happily recommend Smart Home Inspections to others who have just bought a new build home.

We had snagging done for our 2-bed new build in Stratford upon Avon couldn’t be happier with the service provided. Kelly was really helpful booking the appointment and last minute changes. Scott was an expert on his job and thoroughly inspected the house and informed us on the every step. Report was ready the day after including roof, thermal and general inspections. I would gladly recommend the company for those seeking a snagger.

Scott came to do an end of warranty inspection of our property. Booking was super easy, he arrived on time and was very respectful of our property! My husband said he was a really nice super friendly chap! He was very thorough and highlighted a number of defects. A detailed report followed including a thermal imaging report.
I would highly recommend Smart Home Inspections & Clerk of Works Consultants to anyone purchasing a new build property and will book them to do a follow up with a re-inspection.
