My wife and I were extremely disappointed by the experience with Grace. Our advice is to choose a cheaper removalist because you are not paying for "more" with Grace. You are paying more for the same service.

We moved 5km down the road and were quoted hourly rates of $220/hour or a fixed rate of over $3000 which was meant to include assistance with packaging.
Rival companies offer $140/hour and hence we opted for the $3000 quote hoping that Grace would provide a "one stop service" as advertised on the website.
On the day of moving, the movers arrived and said that they were not instructed to pack any boxes. Although the quote did not specifically state "assistance with packing", using value for money and benchmark common sense, we assumed that greater than 100% above market rate meant either
(a) a better service
(b) assistance with packing

The movers explained things to us but they are contracted and don't have invested interest. We had a positive experience with Asian Tigers when moving overseas and this is why we opted for Grace (who is their partner).

We were left with incredible stress on the day of moving and had to pack the boxes at the last minute.

Impeccable service from the start, there level of experience shone through.
I received much more than I expected with the service provided that allowed me to have a stress free move.

I have recomended you to my family and friends and intend to use you the next time I move home.

Grace Bros. actually took the time to send out an agent to confirm what had to be moved and the overall volume.
Other removalists want you to give them the details and give you a price.
The personal touch is what sold me.

Following an earlier review in which I raised an issue that occurred during delivery of home contents to their destination, I am pleased to say that Grace has covered the cost of damage to a tree on site. This was promptly facilitated by the Destination Service Coordinator in Melbourne. I can now say that I am totally satisfied with the service offered by Grace Removals and have no hesitation in recommending them, and will happily use their services again.

On this my sixth move with Grace I am once again very satisfied. The service from the beginning to the end is thoroughly professional but immensely friendly. The packing and moving teams are pleasant and engaging to deal with whilst maintaining a constant hard work ethic. Surely a testament to a well run organisation. We also love their expertly designed systems which make everyones lives easier. The world would be a better place if more companies were like this. They are perfectly named.

Helpful staff, quote was good, efficient removalists thanks guys! Had an issue with insurance which was not resolved until post move but we were happy with attention to the complaint and the refund
