Easiest way to get out of reach goods

I used Grabr for purchasing electrical switches and wallplates that weren't available in my country. Grabr made that easy and secure. Of course, there's a dependency on who's buying the things for you, but I've only had good experiences so far.

Not cheap but worth it

Grabr connects you with a traveller to purchase items for you and deliver them to your country of residence.
You pay grabr upfront and you release the payment to the traveller once you received the items.

Be aware that the point at your place of residence where you receive your items has to be organized with the traveller.

So you may end up driving 5 minutes or 30 minutes to pick up your stuff, or have it picked up by cabify, etc. This very much depends on the traveller.

So far I was very lucky and had only pleasant experiences, timing was good payment without hassles or complications.

Prices charged by the app itself, are high, but its still cheaper than having stuff sent. In most cases you also avoid the hassle of customs taxes and import documentations.

They are not paying traveler back and they are not responding to queries at the help center!
I have a couple of thousands to be reimbursed and they simply don’t give an explanation

I paid $753,24 USD for a Ps5 which only…

I paid $753,24 USD for a Ps5 which only costs $535 USD. The traveler placed the offer to deliver in 3 weeks time, after I paid the traveler cancelled the delivery and now they put a traveler (without my consent) that will take 4 months to deliver.

I paid over $200 USD in rewards. Even though Customer Service took a few days to solve the problem, after 2 weeks approximately the issue was solved and they refunded the full amount to the original payment method. I changed my review because the problem was solved.

Grabr delivers.

It works. It does what it claims to do. There's not too much to say, because it's not a very complex concept: if you're travelling from A to B, Grabr shows you people who want something from A brought to B close to the time you're travelling. You buy it for them, they pay a small fee to you and a comission to Grabr, you deliver the item, and that's it. It's just that Grabr manages to keep it safe, simple and fast. I'm always on the buyer's end, and never had a problem.

It was my first time using.

It was my first time using.
And i bought a mac mini (expensive here in Brasil), so i was worried.
Every step of the process was clear, and the chat with the person who will bring your product works very well.
It makes you fell more confortable.

Lack of choice makes the platform to feel unsafe

Finding a good offer is stressful, there're some travelers spamming the platform. And while they have good reputation, they also always overcharge, and there's no option to block them. Also after I selected a traveler, he canceled the operation and another one was assigned, instead of letting me choose (or at least confirm the new one). This made feel less safe. The platform is ok, but as the end user I don't feel like I have much choice on it. If I can't offer a reward to travelers, Grabr should at least establish limits to rewards. Like, paying 850 USD for a 450 USD item makes no sense.

putting money on the Grabr wallet is…

putting money on the Grabr wallet is very complicated, I much prefer to use Glocalzone, the money takes more than 48 hours to be updated, plus they ask for photo proof of the credit card, as if you were a thief
