Really useful exercise sets, and good explanations of how, why etc. Reminders are great for establishing a consistent approach to exercise. Use of WhatsApp groups is encouraging and you feel like you'rein it together! I find it's a mix of 'easy for me' and 'hard for me' exercises... hopefully will get better at those tricky ones!

Brilliant progression and manageable steps. Excellent encouraging instructor.

The exercises were fun but challenging. They progressed so you could see the improvements. Emma made the exercises session fun and provided lots of encouragement. The support of my fellow exercisers on the WhatsApp chat kept me going. I am impressed I managed to stick to the sessions for 9 weeks but I can feel the improvement in my strength and balance

Goodnick 9week challenge was great- excellent videos with Emma, an inspiring coach as well as friendly support in a WhatsApp group.
I really like being able to fit the classes in at a convenient time and without spending time getting to and from a gym

Clear and straightforward guidance from Emma on the videos. I like the regularity of the three times a week sessions and then followed by a stretch session. Easy to fit in to my days.

So happy to be back following the Goodnick exercise classes. They give great motivation for me to try to do the best to keep my body fit and healthy in my own time and place. One to one coaching and detail are a great bonus and really helpful, making sure you get the best results from the classes.

Just finished the initial 9 week programme and will subscribe so I can continue. Much prefer doing classes at home at times that suit me. Started off easy, but gradually became more challenging. Excellent instructor- enthusiastic and motivating. My energy levels have increased and I feel stronger.

Enjoy the flexibility of an online exercise routine goodnick. I have been exercising with Emma our instructor three times a week and stretch at the weekend after moving home & area last year. Missed my weekly strength and balance exercise but this is more frequent & we can go back and do them again I especially like the standing stretch. We use weights, mat and bands. There is support if you need any help or feedback and a Dr if you have any health issues. Encouraged to meet other goodnick ladies in your area and I met up with two for a lovely walk. Do not feel isolated even though it is done online. Definitely recommend try the exercises before deciding but do not concern about paying as their is flexibility for payments.

Enthusiastic, encouraging workouts. All planned and structured with variations if needed. I thoroughly recommend it for those people, who like me, are older and not gym bunnies.

I can honestly say that the best thing I did for myself in 2025 was to try Goodnick.
I did the three day taster and then signed up for the first nine week course. I have now signed up for an annual membership.
I should say that before joining Goodnick I had never stuck to any exercise regime for longer than a couple of weeks.
It is very friendly community, Emma the instructor (or the only one I have ‘met’ so far) is lovely, each exercise is well explained and gives options for different fitness, mobility levels and it is challenging without being overwhelming.
If you are a more mature lady looking to improve her fitness without the hassle of going to a set class on a set time or joining a gym I would recommend you give it a go.

Having a phone call with member of staff made it all very clear and simple.

Motivational workouts which are really well planned and fun. Don't have to put too much thought into it, just follow the program and all bases covered -strength, balance, mobility, flexibility and cardio. Easy to stop exercise once you start feeling 'old' and stiff but this proves that the best treatment is movement and to not give up!

It is a well constructed fitness course for over 60s. I like the fact it can be done at home and is just as effective as a gym membership. There is a lot of encouragement and motivation in class and WhatsApp communication. I’m continuing now although the fees rise considerably after the initial 9 week course. Recommended.

Gradual improvement in mobility with consistent exercises suitable for my age group

I can fully recommend the Goodnick training regime. Its strength is that it is inclusive. Exercises are introduced gradually and alternatives are given for anyone having difficulty. The Goodnick trainers keep track of each individual and are ready to help . They will give quick answers to emails and also have a WhatsApp platform for prompt responses. Advice on health, diet and recipes is also offered.
At first I found much of the exercise experience quite easy. However I’m aware that more difficult challenges would discourage me. I have to be patient with a gradual improvement.

I wanted to renew my subscription to goodnick which is an excellent programme for women to improve strength, stability and stamina as we age. I was originally signed up for 6 monthly renewal but contacted customer services to ask to extend it to a 12 month contract. The result was excellent and has saved me a significant amount of money. Very happy indeed.

I wish I’d found this program years ago. It has been such a positive experience. There is a lot of support, whether from the team, or from other participants. The sessions are just long enough and gradually build on what we have done previously, and cover all aspects of fitness. There is no pressure, just lots of encouragement. I am really looking forward to carrying on this next year.

Goodnick is an online exercise programme aimed at women over 60 and is based on NHS guidelines. The 9 week introductory programme is divided into 3 sections, balance, strength and stamina tho obviously there is some overlap. There are 3 x20/25min classes a week with a stretch class on a Saturday. The classes are easy to follow with each move clearly explained (Emma is a great coach)and there is an additional WhatsApp group for support. I do have a couple of caveats: the NHS guidelines are set woefully low ( not the fault of Goodnick I agree) so its not hard to meet them and the intro programme is very much aimed at women who have, for whatever reason, lost their way with exercise . I am 77 and for various reasons had not given exercise a priority in the previous year so had lost fitness ( prior to that I was very active) but even so I found the classes easy. That said, Emma was veryhelpful in making suggestions as to adding weights, shortening rest times etc to make it more of a challenge. I have ( cautiously) signed up for the ongoing programme as I like the structure, the 4 classes a week, the not having to think what to do but am not sure, on its own, that I would achieve the level of fitness I had a year ago and am hoping to regain. But the programmes complements my other exercise ( swimming, yoga, Pilates, walking etc ) and I agree I am probably not main target participant. So in brief, if you are over 60 and have lost the havbnit of exercise and wish to regain fitness Goodnick certainly delivers. If, however, you are already meeting NHS guidelines and have an exercise routine in place Good nick may just be a tad basic for you

Goodnick is a great way to get back into shape and maintain fitness levels. The classes are motivational and cater for different levels of ability. You can do the classes in your own time and repeat them if you wish. There is a WhatsApp group for easy communication where you can raise any concerns that you have with the exercises. There is also a regular doctor’s clinic where advice on wider medical concerns can be discussed. I would recommend the program for anyone who lacks the time or ability to get to a gym.

This exercise programme is very good for women 60 + its just what we need to keep us strong and mobile as e get older. There is help and support all along the way. There is a doctor there also which we can ask about any medical problems we might have or advice we might need for our health. I feel very good after completing my 9 week course, and i am so much more mobile and agile, and my balance is much better as well. I have done so well with the programme that i have now joined the Goodnick club which i am enjoying immensely. I would encourage anyone 60+ to join the 9 week Goodnick programme.
