I too was disappointed at Christmas…
I too was disappointed at Christmas with a few errors and poor packaging, however the food was actually very tasty- they sent me discount recently with an apology so I gave them another chance. This delivery was correct and well packaged and the food very tasty especially breaded chicken
Gluten free fish and chips YES please
What a brilliant find this company is! Finding Gluten Free fish and chips is one of those holy grail finds for a coeliac missing the Friday night chippy and Good most definitely matches any chip shop dinner hunger.
The food is excellent, well priced and very good portions. Each meal comes in its own tray so easy to store and freeze, pop in the oven and bam Gluten Free Fish and Chips. (a little tip get the gravy and the battered sausages and dip away yum yum!) I have not tried the Chinese or India yet but have tried most the Chip Shop food as well as the Fried Chicken all really nice.
I like the fact the packaging is recyclable as well.
Over all very highly recommend!
Great food, great customer service
I’ve ordered from here a number of times now and I’m never disappointed. Over the last few months I’ve noticed tweaks with the packaging which makes the quality of food you receive even better. Whole family love the pizzas and chip shop box! I’ve also tried the the Chinese and it is as good, if not better than some of the take away near me.. plus the added benefit of no cross contamination!
Can’t fault the customer service, great response time and always there to help with any queries you may have.
Can’t wait to see what else they have to offer in the future.
Best new gluten-free company on the block!
I have ordered from Good about 4 times now. They haven't been around long but I have already seen how they're improving their packaging by sorting packs into meals. Over the Christmas period, I ordered a bit of everything in the party foods. Everything was great, but the chicken samosas were particularly outstanding. I have ordered the chippy box twice now which has been given approval by non gluten-free folk as tasting better than most normal chippy food. The battered sausages are amazing, the portion sizes are huge, everything is easy to cook and everything can be frozen on arrival. Looking forward to see what new products they come up with but I'm thinking theres nothing they can't make gluten free!

Incredibly disappointed with the service, I ordered a Chinese meal for New Year’s Eve that never arrived, very disappointed as newly diagnosed Coeliac I was feeling so pleased to have found this service. I emailed. the company the day after to let them know and they actually emailed me back and asked me to email their finance department! A little unbelievable but I did as requested only to receive an email saying that they did not hold my card details so could I provide them. Again I did as requested, they had said I would receive my refund within 48 hours of receiving the card details, however I then received an email saying they needed my account details not my card details, again duly sent through ten days ago with no response, chased yesterday but still no response. I feel Incredibly disappointed to be let down by what seemed like such a fantastic service for the gluten free community. So It ruined New Year’s Eve and I have now waited over a month with no refund so far....

Shocking company I urge everyone to AVOID!
After receiving food that was quite simply dangerous and subsequently throwing away my entire order I was promised a refund, this was in mid December! No refund has ever been issued and now the company are ignoring all correspondence. Myself and many others who have had the same or similar issues have reposted them to trading standards however at the present time are still operating. Please please do not use this company and end up ripped off and out of pocket like me and so many others!
Don't waste your money
I received my order 2 days after it was expected, the meals do not resemble the pictures in any way.
Duck with pancakes, only enough duck for 2 pancakes, no spring onions, and cucumber was wet and slimy.
I ordered 2 pieces of cheesecake, looked lovely on the website, what arrived was appalling, I complained and this was the reply I got "We're so sorry to hear that you are not happy with the desserts you ordered.
The ones you received will have been bucks fizz cheese cakes. We are nearing the end of our stock with these desserts and discontinuing them and this is the reason for your crème brulee cheesecake being substituted for a bucks fizz one.
No mention of a refund.
Honey and lemon chicken, instructions said to microwave the meal, so the chicken was soggy, with enough rice for three people, even though it's a meal for one.
I could go on but I think you have the idea that the meals aren't good, not for the price that is being charged.
Another issue is there is no information about calories, salt and sugar content.
I certainly won't be purchasing from them again, and would give zero stars if that was possible.
I contacted the company again about my complaint but didn't get a reply, I have now received a full refund from paypal.

This company just tells lie after lie. I had to chase them to see when my delivery would arrive (23rd Dec) and when they said they could no longer deliver in time for Christmas, I cancelled. After lots of emails and messages, the finance team told me my refund had been processed on 17th Jan - but no, it hadn’t. Fake screenshot as proof which was no proof whatsoever. Then they lied again saying they had refunded me through PayPal but no, another lie. In the end I escalated a claim and PayPal decided in my favour. If I hadn’t there was no way they would have refunded me. Avoid!
Avoid this company - feels like a scam!
Avoid this company! I am still waiting for a refund from 19th December when I was let down for my delivery....it’s now been over a month and emails are being ignored including ones directly to Andrew. Phone number doesn’t work! I’m owed almost £50... unacceptable!
Fake screenshots sent to me of refunds sent for processing, lie after lie, ‘wait 7 days for the bank to process the refund’, ‘wait 10 days for the bank to process’ etc etc. I have never dealt with a company like this... good it’s gluten must be a scam, no genuine company would treat its customers like this!

I ordered the Chinese delivery box for New Year’s Eve, but unfortunately like many reviews on here, my order did not show up.
DPD said that they never received the order from good it’s gluten free. This resulted in a last minute trip to the supermarket on NYE to get food (real special!) There was zero communication from the company in telling me my order wouldn’t show, if they had just been honest I wouldn’t have felt so let down.
I messaged them on Instagram and was told that my order may show up in a day or two!!!. That just isn’t good enough, why offer specific day slots if the food just turns up whenever they post it out? Also we are talking about fresh food here, how would I know that the food hadn’t been doing the rounds for a few days??
Still a few days passes and no food turns up, I then have to chase up a refund....this is awful customer service! They should be offering automatic refunds!
Here we are 1 month later and I’m still out of pocket despite several emails from their finance team saying they have sent the payment (not in my bank account!)
I wouldn’t waste your time and effort with this company.
No order, No refund, No reply, No Good
A terrible, unprofessional company. The order I placed a month in advance didn't arrive, and I had to chase the company multiple times, days before Christmas to be told contradictory things from admin. The feeble bits that do arrive are greasy. The owner put a sob story video on fb promising a refund to the "10%" who had no order etc but weeks later, surprise, surprise! No refunds! The owner ignores the emails, also do the admin team and finance (who asked for my bank details. I don't know why, as no money has gone in). If you disagree on their fb page and ask for refunds, they block you. No swearing or rude language was said. When people complained after the video they still don't have a refund, admin said the owner stayed up for hours the night before giving refunds. Check out their fb page as people are still waiting for it today. A business like this could have thrived, but unfortunately when you don't deliver on goods or refunds, it is a serious matter, and because of this they have been reported to trading standards. I was going to take them to the small claims court but I got paypal involved first, who of course, gave an outcome in my favour.

I would have rated 0 of I could have. I spent over £50 for an Xmas hamper. Joke. Arrived days later and went into the BIN. As a coeliac family this was a hamper for my daughter. Don’t use this company. Absolute rubbish. And they don’t even get back to you. I WILL NOT LET THIS GO. So many people are out of pocket. And their MD posts a rubbish video on their Insta page SIMPLE INCAPABLE COMPANY HAPPY TO TAKE MONEY. AND NOT REFUND.
Really wouldn't recommend this company
Really wouldn't recommend this company. Order didn't turn up on time and when it did turn up half of what I paid for was missing! No apology or explanation. Sadly happened to many others too. Now all you get is lie and lie about when the refunds will be processed and no surprise it never materialises again this is not just me. Having to go through PayPal now to get the money they owe me back really disappointing service.
What delivery??
Much the same as everyone else - should’ve checked other reviews before ordering.
26th November booked for 18th December, nothing delivered. Contacted customer services who took a while to get back to me to make the promise of the 23rd December, again nothing appeared. Repeated pattern of promises, nothing arriving - promises of refund and very apologetic.
Now, no contact when it comes to asking when the refund will be processed. Would not recommend
Multiple Bad Experiences
I've had various bad experiences with this company and the food. In summary: -
- orders not arriving on the day they are supposed to, with no communication. Happened multiple times.
- different excuse each time for why not delivered
- food not looking like pictures - the pictures of the fish are nothing like what arrives, the chips are thin mass-produced oven chips (not the ripple chips advertised)
- items missing from orders - with no communication or explanation unless you chase up
- no / limited cooking instructions
- items bent to fit in boxes which included bending pizzas (such they were broken in 2), also had fish broken apart as well.
All in all it's a great concept, but they really need to sort out their customer service and quality/consistency of the food. And stop using images/descriptions of food that does not represent what you send out!
Avoid this shambles of a company
I ordered on the 13th December, as they had said it would be guaranteed Xmas delivery. Part of my order was delivered, but quite a few items were still missing. I received an email to say the rest of my items will be with me separately - before Xmas.
I emailed on the 23rd December asking where these where as I am concerned they wouldn’t be here in time for Xmas, and I was told they would be delivered on the 31st December.
Still not received the missing items and when I emailed again to chase today (2nd January) I received an auto response email to say they are closed until 4th January.
Oh and they also said they would issue me a credit voucher and refund my delivery fees on the 23rd and I have received neither of these.
Wish I’d checked out the reviews before I ordered, it was a lot of money I spent and as I am the only one who eats gluten free food in my house I am gutted I even bothered.
After reading the reviews I doubt I’ll get my money back. Will absolutely never use this company again.

Awful service - food not delivered
I ordered buffet food for Christmas to be delivered on 23rd December. I received a message from dpd saying they would deliver the food today. On checking the dpd app at 4pm I could see they hadn't received my parcel. I contacted Good who responded saying my food wouldn't be delivered in time for Christmas and I would receive it on 31 December. They said they would waive the delivery charge. The food is no good to me on 31 December seeing as I wanted it for Christmas. The offer of waiving delivery is derisory in the circumstances. It seems many people are in the same position as me with no food and no time to purchase replacements. If I hadn't contacted the company I am not sure there would have been any communication about my order. Terrible customer service and no apparent recognition of how their lack of delivery and communication impacts people.
