Bendigo Good Guys absolutely poor serve

Went into the Bendigo store Saturday July 6 and all I can say is that the customer service was absolutely non existent. All staff members were standing around in their little groups chatting amongst themselves and even watching us with no help whatsoever
I literally had to call out twice for someone to come and serve me I find this absolutely disgusting and if I were there manager or from head office I would sack the lot of them as they are a total waste of time and money

Purchased a sharp 40L inverter…

Purchased a sharp 40L inverter convection microwave from the Maitland Store in Aug 2022. Went to use the microwave part of it on Monday 11/6/24 and it wouldn’t work. Rang the store to find out what to do. Appears it only has 12 months warranty but they would have it repaired under their “goodwill “ warranty. ( no such thing.. it’s a consumer guarantee) anyway the girl was very vague and in the end said she’d have the manager ring me. A few hours later she called and said it would have to be sent for repair so we had to take it in. We took it in lunch time Monday and the girl gave me a number to call to check how long the repair would take but to give it 24 hours before calling.
Rang today 48 hours later.
The number I was given wasn’t in service so I rang the store to see if it was the right number. It wasn’t. I rang the new number and it was in the Phillipines … very bad line and hard to understand the customer service person.
I rang the girl back but the girl didn’t know where it was (I would’ve thought it would be logged in a computer) and said she’d get back to me by tonight.
I rang back again , got another staff member who said to hold and he’d look for the details… half an hour later on hold he came back on to say it was in transit and he couldn’t help with anymore information until it was assessed and logged.. min time a week.
This is my only oven so I’m restricted with what I cook. I’m not happy . Winter and no oven!
I’m not confident I’ll get it back in anything short of at least 3 weeks!
$835 later and no oven! I won’t ever shop at good guys again … the name of the store is not fit for purpose never mind the oven!

Dishonest cheats and thieves.

Dishonest cheats and thieves.
These folks at Kawana sold me a dud dishwasher. From start to finish, the treated it as my fault. It didn't work from day 1. They sent a technician out twice who declared it faulty. The fobbed me off to the supplier, Bosch, and this is illegal. It took months to get them to take it away and then they gave me a partial refund. I will never darken their door again.

Do not trust Goodguys after sales support@

Around 6 months ago, I bouth ~AUD4000 worth of LG appliances from Goodguys. They charged me for delivery and installation. Fridge stop working and ~ AUD100 worth of meat and food was gone! I contacted them and they asked me to contact LG support and after 3 days, I am still waiting for someone to come and take a look at the fridge without no guarantee that when it will be replaced/repaired. When selling, they are nicest people in the world, and when it comes to commitment and support. they are just s.! That is why customer satisfaction rate is 1.3!

Kerrie saved the day

Definitely a very odd experience today if I had of been served by the young man in the tv section I would have walked out without making a purchase but Kerrie stepped in and I made the purchase on a tv because she went that extra mile for me and trusted my judgement, its amazing how a smile and phone call can change everything in a split second and good guys definitely should be called good girls as our experience with them is far different when a woman serves us they take the time and look at your face when they speak to you not at you.Thankyou Kerrie xx

I was there to purchase printer for which sales person finalised price $151. At checkout, lady by the name of Yvonne stated $155 so, very politely i said gentleman told me it will be $151. She said its only $4 and asked me to find the sales person. Eventually manager came in and resolved. However, Yvonne was not at all happy to serve, so i suggested if she can be kind while serving. She pointed her hand to say talk to my hand and walked away. I said this is not a nice way to treat a customer by then manager PARUL walked in and had a chat with her and told me to leave the store and not talk to her staff like that. She kept pointing at door indicating me to leave and nit to raise any issue about Yvonne's behaviour. Rather, manager PARUL became aggressive as we were walking out with the arrogance of “i am the manager what can you do to me” However there day was and whatever they went through, the way they dealt with me is NO WAY ACCEPTEBLE AT ALL..

Namesake Good Guys

2 weeks ago we went to buy a TV on Good Friday sale a basic TV but ended up buying a 65inch Sony demo TV because of the specs and price. When the TV was delivered it was in a loose wably box with not cushioning and the box was open. The delivery was expected to be on the Thursday next week between 8.45 and 11.45 pm. My wife who does a night shift stayed up all day so it can be recived but the driver showed up at 2.30 and it was placed in the hall way after requesting nicely as it was heavely raining and the driver decided to put it ouaide the door in pouring rain.We decided to open it 2 days later as it was sitting in the hallway and the TV was broken of course because it was not packed properly. We spent 2 days to get a new one and paid extra to get a brand new one as it would come in a box. We got a new delivery date for the new TV today Saturday as I was told the last time the delivery was taken the box was not opened in front of the driver. Although when I was paying I asked this time I will open the box in front of the driver will he wait and the sales guy said we can't promise that.
Today was the delivery between 1 and 3 and then I got a call from the driver saying he will come between 3 to 5 and he never showed up between that time.

He called us at 6 and asked if the TV I'd packed. I said its on its stand and he said unless u can pack it in 10 min and asked if I can send him a picture. I said ok and sent him a picture of the TV and and packed it and waited for him to arrive as it was showing he is arriving in 1 min. He did not come but 2 min later I got a text from good guys saying your deliver was failed and somone will contact me with next steps at 6.30 in the evening when all shops are closed

I then realised what the driver dis by asking me to send him a picture was he cheating me and reported that he could not deliver because the broken TV was not packed.

We have spent almost 3 weeks behind this TV and I have had enough.

Horrible Service

I purchased an item (order no 155...016) on 05-03-2024, and for the last three weeks, it shows delayed. I gave them a call today (26-03-2024) to find out by customer service team member D×××o that I have to wait until the dispute between Auspost and The Good Guys is resolved. I also can't get a refund or a new product sent. Customer service on high. Don't buy on line you'll get ripped off.

extremely poor customer service and attitude

last year we went to Good Guys to purchase a dishwasher. After asking for some assistance when we had been waiting some time, we were told someone would be there to help immediately. 30 minutes later, no one came to assist so we left and bought a dishwasher elsewhere. We decided to give them a second chance and purchased and oven early Feb this year. Initial customer service was not bad, we paid for the oven and were told delivery would be the Monday. When no delivery Mon, we called to be told they had not organised the delivery/installation and would do it then. The electricians came, they removed the old oven and when they went to get the new oven off the truck, the glass door was broken in pieces. old oven was put back. Call to Good Guys, after a few hours of waiting for the call back, we were given the bums rush, not interested in helping us, just told us to take our money back. We had originally been told that there was one in stock only to find out we had been sent the demo from the floor. The attitude of the staff at Good Guys was that they couldn't care less, they are happy to take your money but make it hard to get a refund. I would have been happy to take another brand of oven and pay extra but they were not interested in helping. We have since bought an oven from elsewhere. Never going to Good Guys again and certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Hoppers Crossing Good Guys puts a sour taste in your mouth. Stay away form Good Guys, you get much better service from everywhere else

Good Guys Noarlunga in SA - avoid

Good Guys Noarlunga in SA - avoid. Terrible, terrible service and lack of communication.
Boxing Day brought a washer/dryer on promotion and told would be delivered to the store within 3 weeks. Mentioned we were moving and needed it by then. No contact after 4 weeks so rang to be told the washer/dryer would be in the next week for pick up. Advised moving that week so make sure it was there. Again heard nothing so my partner rang again to be told the LG factory was having problems so delivery was possibly in March but no guarantee. Offered a refund but we had already moved it would be a couple of hundred k’s round trip to get it put back on my credit card. Store advised my partner anyone could bring my credit card to get the refund put back on as long as they had the card. My daughter offered to go for me with my card, so drove over 70k’s each way, to be told they need me for a signature!!! This would mean for me, a round trip of over 300km’s!! Which is why she went.
Everywhere else can do this and if I had ordered online They would have refunded straight back to my card, but not this useless money grabbing lying incompetent company.
Tried calling the store numerous times to ask why it couldn’t be refunded back to my credit card as it would be if ordered online.
Each time someone answered then immediately hung up. Customer service is appalling and will use Appliances Online from now on as never an issue with them. Should have done that originally :(

So still no refund ……over 9 weeks now.
Do not buy from Noarlunga Good Guys ever.

Note: not the first time this has happened to us with this store but as we lived close then not too much of an issue. AVOID

Bad customer service right from sale to delivery

Bad customer service right from sales to delivery.
I paid for a premium delivery service for an appliance. However, I was waiting 3 days beyond the delivery date without any contact from the The Good Guys! There was no response to my emails; the follow-up phones never got picked at the department store in Hoppers Crossing right from ordering to delivery status. The customer service was not up to the mark with half installation done and a bad attitude by the delivery driver. Unfortunately will never use The ( not so ) Good Guys!

The most terrible service I have ever…

The most terrible service I have ever encountered. Order some appliances for Christmas in early November 23. Still waiting on January 24 and the excuse was that the courier didn’t collect it from the store. So I asked why no one had asked the courier to come back for over 2 months. Silence. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

Will never purchase Online again due to the Good Guys dispatching Orders through courier service Team Global Express. Ordered product on 2nd Dec, delivery expected by 7th, checked tracking nothing is moving, made some enquiries, might as well have been talking to the wall. Email sent to me asking to allow 24 to 48 hrs for a response, the dog must have eaten it as I have received no reply no action what so ever. Spoke to Store manager a Sunbury, strongly suggested they change Courier, after reviewing Team Global Express reviews ONLY receiving 1 Star. Want customer to come back, find a better Courier.
