THE REAL BAD GUYS-
RIDICULOULSY CRAP SERVICE AT BELCONNEN GOODGUYS ( SALES_+INSTSALATION)

How ridiculous is it when you buy a $1000 product from the store( a washing machine) and then you have to beg the sales person multiple times to show you the product you purchased.
How ridiculous is it to pay for installation fee and Good Guys team dumps your washing machine at your home without installing it even after multiple requests . I hired a private technician ASAP in desperation to install the new washing machine after hours where GOODGUYS said 'cannot slip it in as the washing machine is too big for the space' . He fixed it in 10 minutes.
What kind of ridiculous service are we paying for in Goodguys. I am proceeding with an ACCC complaint as I have never seen such a substandard service and other customers should not go through what I have been through.
They are NOT GOODGUYS BUT REALLY BAD GUYS !!!!

Relocated and purchased quite a few white goods etc from Good Guys Bundaberg
Whilst we had a hiccup or two
the service team were excellent and always stepped up to help.

The worst service

Terrible service. Bought a Hisense dishwasher, paid extra for Gold "Service" and installation. machine lasted 6 months. The Good Guys have done nothing about this. They referred me straight to Hisense (what TF is gold service for) and Hisense have been useless to date. I have called both companies multiple times, no one seems to know what is happening, I just keep getting directed back to email with a reference number and told to be patient. 13 days and counting... nothing.

Worst customer service and experience…

Worst customer service and experience at good guys when you buy any electronic product. For them the sales is all that matters. Once you have purchased they absolutely don’t care if the product is faulty or an item in the box is missing. They make all excuses to see if they cannot accept it back or make rounds to their stores to get anything closed. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THE STAFF AND PROCESSES THEIR. Seems like all faulty products make the way to their store.

Avoid buying online.

I am unhappy with my online shopping experience. After receiving a confirmation text, went to the store to pick up those items. Counter staff were unable to locate my order, which hadn't been dispatched. The second item I picked up from the dock came in a box that appeared to be secondhand. When I returned it to the store, they refused to exchange it, claiming they were out of stock, which I believe to be a lie. As a result, I will not be ordering from or visiting the store again due to the inadequate customer service.

Nightmare Warranty Service - Avoid the Business

For 3 weeks we have been trying to work for a solution with the Good Guys on a warranty we purchased for a fridge which keeps malfunctioning. It has been a nightmare having to call, email and follow up, lose work time, hire an alternate fridge, replace food etc... This is the 3rd time on the same fridge. I would encourage people to shop elsewhere and although the local recommended the Hisense Brand avoid it like the plague. We are looking likely to lose $1100 plus warranty costs and have to buy a new one.

Delivery service is abysmal

A week ago the delivery men installed a washing machine, which was meant for my neighbour. They obviously couldn't read the address right and had to take it away again and put the old one back. Today I got the machine I ordered. Some items which are supposed to be attached to the back of the machine they simply left for me, a 75 year old woman to install. My son who happened to be at my house had enormous difficulty to put these bolts at their respective place. It should've happened before the machine had been put into place. I don't think I'll ever buy a bigger appliance from your company again.

Good Guys Thomastown pathetic service

My husband went to The Good Guys Thomastown yesterday, no staff let alone service, other customers thought he was the salesman so he left. Went back to the same store today, looking to purchase a vacuum cleaner, had to go to the service counter and ask if anyone was willing to help. One guy decided he might give it a go, note there were no staff on the floor. Asked the guy if he knew anything about vacuum cleaners answer was no. Asked if there was anyone who could help, first it was no then he said we would have to wait as the staff that know about vacuum cleaners are busy…note there were no staff on the floor. Explained to the staff member that we can in the previous day, no staff. To say that the care factor was 0 is an understatement. Told the guy i would lodge and complaint, he just lost a sale and i was going across the road to Harvey Norman, care factor 0. Went across the road to Harvey Norman, walked in and was greeted by a number of staff and purchased my vacuum cleaner, Good Guys lift your game, having said JB lift your game, service no longer exists in this store.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Tempe staff are ok. The guys out back are great, front staff think they are they 'bees knees' (I don't know if bees have knees but if they do that's amazing ... not good guys the bees knees). Now I emailed them regarding a faulty product. The customer service rep was great in that they said someone from Tempe would call within the next 48 hours. Its been 11 days and no call. Absolutely horrendous. I don't' know why Good Guys still exist. Will be shopping at JB Hi Fi. Not cool Good Guys, not cool - maybe think about changing your name...

Pathetic

Pathetic. Charged $85 for delivery and installation of washing machine. Failed to install because they couldn't remove the old machine plug from the wall. Left the new machine in the lounge room and left. My tenants were so stressed (overseas students). My mate and I (aged 70 and 63) went and sorted it out in 20 minutes. What a disgraceful performance from the Good/Crap Guys They only got 1 star cos I couldn't give 0.

My TV got lost in delivery

Only one thing worse than Good Guys, is when they team up with Global Express, its enough to drive you mad, my TV got lost in delivery, got sent to Sydney instead of Port Macquarie, so today beginning at 9am 19/8 I made 4 phone calls to GG customer service and Coffs Harbour, still no idea when TV will arrive, Coffs store wanted to fob me off to customer service, Coffs store never rang back, even to explain or apologize, Global express were just as bad, they never rang or emailed any updates, after complaining to them, my 4 th GG call of the day to customer service ended suspiciously with he operator saying my TV had been found, and they would call me in regards to delivery, I believe this was said to shut me up, as why no new scan from Global express showing this update, good customer service would have look like this, the Coffs store would apologize for the mess up and offer delivery of another TV whilst they chase the lost one, I will never deal with Bad Guys again, I hope their business goes down the drain it deserves to, no wonder you get so many bad reviews.
UPDATE 20/8 had ring GG again didnt get back to me, when they said they would, eventually they rang later today TV still missing, all they know is it left warehouse, so saga continues

Not a care in the world lack of customer service

Email and phone call made to manager and no response or resolution. Sales manager advised it’s not affecting the fridge usage and only cosmetic. Below is my complaint email to the store.

Attn Manager.
I am disgusted and appalled about your delivery guys.
Your delivery guys have left all the packaging inside the fridge and freezer and switched it on and left it like that, advising me not to open or use it until 2 hours have passed, this was at 10:30am.
At 12.30 pm I opened the doors and started to remove all the packaging and blue tape and found that most of the blue tape have been stuck onto the drawers or doors because of the cold and it is difficult to remove them. The freezer drawers were the most difficult ones as I can’t remove the blue stickers off the drawers and don’t know what to do. I’m appalled by your drivers incompetence and no care attitude, not to mention that they left muddy footprints all over my house, with no consideration to the mess they left behind.
I had to vacuum and mop 3 times to get their footprints of my floors.
I knew something was not right and they appeared dodgy so o refused to sign the delivery slip as they didn’t finish their job correctly. One guy who could only speak a little English kept on asking me to sign the delivery. I refused because they were supposed to install the plumbing as well, which they’ve never.
I wish I had taken pictures of my floors. I just didn’t think that it would come to this. However attach are pictures of the drawers with the blue tape refusing to come off freely and I don’t want to force it as it may scratch the surface.
I would like to start using my fridge. What shall I do with this blue tape and the plumbing? Please assist me urgently.

Horrible communication

Horrible communication
They did not know what they where speaking about and kept on avoiding any questions and even became angry and told my 11 year old that she was stupid for asking a questions - Which was how long does the bag last for with one of the robotic vacuum cleaners which seems a pretty reasonable question.

Good Guys purchase

The purchased Blender Navy caught fire while charging. The Nutrabullet's provided charge cable only lasted 2 months, had to buy a replacement cable, despite this was a high quality USB-c cable (also purchased at Goodguys) there was no refund for the failed product, the manufacturer blamed the issue on the purchased cable, there is no backup of the products purchased at this organisation.
After some phonecalls with management the issue was resolved and the product was refunded as per warranty. It appears that Goodguys ARE actually supporting their products after all.

Good guys-not good

I bought a dishwasher from good guys in june-getting it installed was a drama; when you’re working. 1.5 months later that dishwasher came up with an f30 fault. I contacted the hoppers crosding branch who i dealt with and she said i’ll let them know. One week later i’d still heard nothing. Their communication system is poor. I won’t go there again and if i don’t get good service this time they can take it away and i’ll deal with someone else. I can’t see good guys lasting.

I wanted to purchase a heating pad

I wanted to purchase a heating pad. Phoned up spoke to a man named lorenzeno. He was very helpful and informative and very polite.wish there was more service people like him. He found a store near me and priced match the product. Without any hesitation. I will be shopping there more often. The store I visited was just as pleasant at Chrinside park.

I would give ZERO STARS if I could,, awful store; purchase a computer, less then 7 months it started to freeze, returned to store and the very next day they called and said that they could not get it to fault, therefore they could do nothing for me, it is noted on their report that it is intermitted BUT THEY CLAIM IF I WANT IT SENT OFF THEY WILL CHARGE ME TO DO SO,,, I called NSW Ministry of Fair Trading this is all illegal,, even the paperwork they gave me states that they do not test or do anything to your computer but that it will be sent off. Imogen call my wife she was very sharp with her, I called her back after I spoke with the Fair Trading and called ended when she hung up on me ! !
When we visited the store the whole store seemed to be not caring, I had made up my mind then that I would never go back to them again,, and this as just doubly reconfirmed my thoughts

Thankyou guy's received my Goldair 2400 heater. Absolutely love this. Putting the wheel's on was a piece of cake. Good Guy's were awesome with updates and Australia Post for tracking and delivering. Website to buy this heater was so easy and no hassles.

If I could give less than one star I…

If I could give less than one star I would. Broken, defective, expensive but cheaply made item. Sent to elderly, infirm parents. They are in a home, no way of returning it, made it so difficult and complicated to get their money back. Utter scum! They caused the problem, they should fix it.
