No idea why this has bad reviews
I do not know why it has so many bad reviews but I think it’s from incompetence buyers. Most of them are cancelled or accidental orders. If you actually buy something from this company it will be amazing and quiet frankly serves them right. I bought a spare part for my golf trolley and it got dispatched next day and arrived 2 days after. Perfect amount of email confirmations and as efficient, if not more, than any massive popular company could produce. Great price and packaged exactly you would expect (if you read the reviews by normal people). Couldn’t recommend more.

Excellent service
I decided, at fairly short notice, to buy a full set of clubs as a Christmas present for my wife. Shopping around on line, I found a good appropriate full set on Golf-Xpress, substantially cheaper (with graphite shafts too!) than the other major outlets and with free delivery. Being so close to Xmas, I was a bit worried about them arriving in time, so I contacted the company via their website and received an immediate response and re-assurance that their couriers would be working right up to Xmas eve. I needn’t have worried, as they arrived yesterday. I had a sneaky peek before wrapping and everything was as described. I’m sure she will be delighted.
Communication with the company was excellent, delivery as promised and an excellent product that was cheaper than anywhere else. Can’t fault them and would definitely recommend.

Pleasingly items arrived less than 48 hours after ordering, well packed and in good order. Would use again, decent prices too.
Quick service in resolving the issue
After an initial concern as we had paid for delivery and the items weren't received in the expected time, Golf-Xpress checked and sorted out the order really quickly and the items arrived the next day. Thank you Golf-Xpress for your quick response. Much appreciated.

ordered shot scope tags from this crowd on website we deliver to Ireland went ahead paid by card next morning order cancelled as we decided not to send stuff outside UK because of the red tape after brexit we will refund your card .next day ne refund we asked they said my card company blocked a refund .we phoned our card company and they said absolutely ridiculous we would never block a refund. got back on to them they still went with the same line still no refund 6 weeks later .we then found THE OFFICIAL shot scope website a gentleman called Andy assured me that we deliver to Ireland and this is the proper shot scope website we ordered on Tuesday evening and the shot scope tags arrived Thursday morning at 10. AM NOW THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL SERVICE .the guy in golf-express in an email addressed me with the line LISTEN PAL .so people I urge everyone to avoid these arrogant and very rude people

23rd April DD purchase 2 no. "in stock " straps from Golf Xpress
23rd April Golf Xpress confirms order 1314016 is now awaiting shipment
28th April DD writes to Golf Xpress requesting update to order 1314016
28th April Golf Xpress updates that they " are awaiting new stock to arrive tomorrow, once then all backorders will be cleared" therefore statement of 23rd of being "in stock" and "now awaiting shipment" are inaccurate and misleading.
7th May DD writes to Golf Xpress requesting full refund as goods have not been delivered, and there has been ample time for delivery and that they have been misleading in their actions and correspondence.
7th May Golf Xpress state that "your order was dispatched 24th April and is on route to you"
7th May DD emails Golf Xpress asking how the previous mail can be factual when told on 28th April that you were "are awaiting new stock to arrive tomorrow, once then all backorders will be cleared" DD again asks for refund.
7th May Golf Xpress states, "Sorry a refund will only sent once the ordered items have been returned, or Royal Mail confirm the parcel is lost and a claim can be made, A step by step update can be followed on the Royal Mail website with your tracking No: RV562882613GB.
Upon closer inspection of the tracking number it highlights the following points
1. It tells me that it is a package going to Ireland, but it does not reference my address so I have no reason to believe that it is my parcel
2. The sender was preparing the item on Tuesday evening of the 27th April.
3. Parcel was in Langley Sunday 2nd May
So if it was mine as you are claiming then.
1. Your email of the 23rd is incorrect as the straps were "not in stock"
2. Your mail of the 23rd is incorrect as you were "not awaiting shipping"
3. Your mail of 7th May is incorrect the package was not "dispatched on the 24th April"
Refund.
I am requesting a refund on the basis that the information that you have sent me is either misleading or inaccurate. I have given you plenty of opportunities to be honest and upstanding with me and manage my expectations , which you have not done. I am unable to meet the criteria that you request before making a refund as I cant return the goods as I don't have them, and as the receiver of the item I cannot seek recourse from the Royal mail as I was not the sender, only the poster of the article can, please see below extract from their claims page below.
Therefore based upon the above items I again ask that a full refund is made to my account by COB today or I will be contacting my credit card company requesting that they set up a case against Golf Xpress.
The International mail rules mean claims for loss or damage are considered by the postal provider of the country the item was sent from.
This applies regardless of which country the item was last tracked to.
Claims should be made by the person who posted the item.
I will not be corresponding on this directly with you after this mail, but do expect you to do the right thing based upon your previous actions

A positive experience
Having read some of the negative reviews, I almost didn't buy from Golf-Xpress but I'm glad I did.
The 10% discount offer wasn't being applied to my order so I sent an email at 9pm and by 10pm the issue had been fixed.
The delivery was delayed by 24 hours but communication was good so no complaints there.

Made an online order yesterday, just received an email that it has been cancelled without giving any explanation.
I have tried ringing the company but there is no answer. Not pleased with my experience.

Product mis-described, then poor response
The ordering and delivery all went smoothly. I ordered ‘Practice’ balls, described as having the words ‘Practice’ stamped on the ball, and further described as, ”practice balls are not lake balls and have not been exposed to water.” And “TaylorMade SKU: GB83WA
£17.99. MSRP £39.99 (You save £22.00 ).
I’ve bought this type of ball before - they are simply stamped ‘Practice’ and may have minor cosmetic blemishes, but should otherwise be exactly the same as the premium brand (TP5 in this case). The balls I received had clearly been used, and after the exchange of several emails, they claimed that their website clearly stated that “balls have seen very ltd / light use for a limited amount of time”. This was a lie. They changed the website description AFTER I had brought up the issue. Luckily, I made a copy of their web page at the point I raised the initial query (but I can’t post a link to the copy of the website at the time).
I don’t have a major problem with them making a mistake by not advising that the balls had been used; mistakes happen. What I do have a problem with is being lied to, and being told,
“Look, Pal. We are far to [sic] busy to get into any agreements or disagreements. Your [sic] not happy with your purchase, they aren't to your liking it's a [sic] simple as that although we have sold over 1,000+ dozen since April with loads of customers purchasing on more than one occasion.”
They did offer a refund in fairness (hence not one star, and at least taking the time to respond). But, the return postage was to be paid by me, as they refused to accept fault. They blatantly mis-described the product, and then lied about it. They could have dealt with this so much better, and it could have been dealt with very easily with an apology and an olive branch of some description, but instead they prompted this ‘right to reply’. Possibly the first time I’ve ever posted a negative review (I really hate being lied to! 😳).
Perfect webshop, I will be a returning customer
Questions were answered within one hour. Goods well packed shipped on Monday and delivered Thursday morning in Europe Mainland. All and all very happy customer.

Don't use this abusive and rude company!
Paid extra for Next Day Delivery on Thursday at 1pm (before the 3pm cut off as stated in their terms). Got an email from DPD saying it would be delivered on Monday! Politely emailed and asked for a refund on the extra I paid for Next Day Delivery and got a barrage of abuse about how "we aren't living in normal times" and I "should understand that they are working overtime and don't have any staff". Sorry mate, don't furlough all of your staff if you can't keep a promise to your customers...or just change your website to stop misleading customers!? Regardless of that I replied and said I did understand and it was fine that it wasn't arriving when I expected, but that it's still reasonable to get a refund on the next day service I paid for but didn't receive! Then got a really nasty reply saying they've cancelled the whole order and they don't need customers like me. I mean wow - I thought I was being very reasonable, I didn't get annoyed and ask for compensation, I only wanted the money back for the next day delivery I paid for and didn't receive. Please don't use this company or their parent company Greenway Promotions Limited. Pretty sure it was the owner, Mark Walton, who was emailing me all the abuse - absolutely no customer service skills and needs to learn to be a reasonable retailer.

As you can see from Kevin's comments,that like me he also paid extra for next day delivery,and again like me this never happened?? So it seems coronavirus or not, golf xpress fail to deliver what they promise!
As a footnote I've paid for numerous next day deliveries, during this lockdown period and they've been just that! The next day!

When is next day delivery not next day…
When is next day delivery not next day delivery? if you buy from Golf-Xpress.
I ordered a part and paid for next day delivery. It was essential it arrived on time as the part was to repair a golf trolly before an important game. The part didn't arrive next day so I cancelled the order and purchased from another trader.
Golf-Xpress initially agreed to only refund the cost of the item, now they have agreed to refund the postage but refuse to refund to return postage. (it is their legal requirement to do so under Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Next stage is small claims court which is going to significantly increase their cost.
Update 10th March:
after informing Golf-Xpress of my intention they sent an extraordinary email reply which included the following..... " As you intend to take this course of action stated we will hold the offered refund back now in sending until we have our chance to defend our case with the small claims court case, and our charges paid out to defend will be passed on to you."
Of course they will because its a legal requirement.
I have now escalated this to the director of the parent company as Golf-Xpress does not exist in the companies house register.
Update 12th March
Received full refund but not yet return postage. This awful business is now fighting me for £4. Imagine if I had ordered something of value
Update 16th March
Received a gift of 6 balls and 2 packs of tees in lieu of £4 postage which is acceptable. This matter is now closed.
Insulted by them for their error.
Ordered through eBay. Wrong item arrived. Was told I had to re package and take to post office to return when received my refund would be processed. I asked why can't you send the correct item and collect the wrong one. Then I'm told im an unreasonable customer. Why? I placed an order. Received the wrong item. Then told I most chase all over to return their mistake so i will hopefully get a refund. I will never use golf-xpress again and i advise others to avoid. Unless you enjoy being insulted. Then it's right up your street.
