I worked for this company under Elias (Matthew Lewis) while the owner, Christian Moreno, was based in Thailand and not feeling well until recently. I initially worked in the office and later remotely due to company financial constraints. During this time, I was solely responsible for building operations from the ground up, managing workflows, and handling all business affairs.
I effectively operated as a one-person team, working around the clock with no days off. On some occasions, I even worked while my wife was in labor.
As of today, I am owed $9,500 for the period November 2025 through March 2026.
Unfortunately, I am not the only one affected. Several other contributors, including KC Kwan, Jacob Shukrun, and others, also left without receiving proper compensation. Brokers are also not consistently paid; some experience long delays, and others are not paid at all. Individuals such as Michael Perez, Chris Yates, Sean Josey, and Rajesh Jaswal have faced these issues firsthand.
I am sharing this to provide transparency for anyone considering working with or for this company, whether as an employee or broker. Based on my experience and that of others, I would strongly advise proceeding with extreme caution.

They charge 15% for the loan. They are simply referring you to other brokers: preferredfundinggroup

All go kapital do is take your info and forward it to those guys who charge 15% for a loan. If you want to pay this exorbitant fee then skip go kapital and go straight to preferred funding, otherwise skip them altogether. They have 0 customer service.

GoKapital didn't follow through with a commission payment and we are in the same business. I'm the CEO of Us Trust Business Loans and Alternative Capital Funding. Stay away from this company! I even gave GoKapital a 5 star review with the BBB 12/1/22. I wanted to keep up positive relations with them, even though we're approved with the same investor: Velocity Mortgage Capital.(Velocity Mortgage is a great company and they have NOTHING TO DO WITH MY ISSUE. My Iso manager, Samantha can verify this fact. I'm an extremely considerate CEO and care about business relationships. I have employees and am a mid tier small business loan company. I actually had good conversations with the owner of GoKapital, Christian Moreno. I had zero issues with doing additional business with him and GoKapital, Since we're approved with the same investor and would make the same amount of commission, I only used them to "keep up positive business relations." What a stupid mistake to actually try and work with the same company you actually made a business relationship with. They followed through then and I'm embarrassed to even waste time and file this negative review. It's truly bazaar. Christian Moreno didn't even have the professionalism to say he would be a day late on the commission? He straigh up ignored the situation and had his "sales person" say it was a mix up. Very, very rookie mistake.

*It's so deceptive as well with Christian Moreno, the CEO of GoKapital in good faith brokering a deal with the same investor, were both signed up with and then using breach of contract/unjust enrichment. I did business with this bad actor in 12/1-22 or 2023 and had a positive experience. I was appreciative and even receive an Amercian Express bonus card for the funding was around the holidays. Great communication at that time along with Jacob and KC(Ex employees as of recently. I feel totally duped at 54 and sucked in by deception. I only used GoKap because I wanted to keep up relations. It's been years since we worked together, as I'm direct with most of the same funders anyway. Another broken promise last week and in writing that accounting was sending the commission payment. Truly perplexed. No phone calls from Christian at all.

Have been using KC with Go Kapital for around 3 years now. With 3 different advances. Being in the firearm business it’s hard to secure funding. KC makes it easy and simple every single time. Will use them again in the future for sure

My experience was super easy and the staff that helped me was very professional and courteous. This is my second loan with GoKapital, I always recommend them to business owners that I know.

Very unprofessional company. Very rude. I was given a lot of contradictory information from the company in the same email chain. A lot of sass. A lot of rudeness. Just so you know we're not disgruntled, we have loans with the SBA and major banks. We're a serious company and that's how we approach a lender. We asked them to define some of their programs in advance before committing to pulling a hard credit profile since we get so many requests and they were completely rude about it and wouldn't give any info until we offered a social security number. We did. And then we didn't hear back. We chatted in on their website and were told they ran our credit and we didn't qualify. We emailed the owner who denied what we were told in chat. We don't really feel this company is legitimate based on our experiences.

Go Kapital is a great company for anyone looking for a good business loan. I contacted them, and we scheduled to meet, they went over the details very thoroughly. They made sure I knew everything I needed to before I agreed to sign for the loan. I was very satisfied with my loan and would recommend this place to anyone needing s business loan. They were very friendly and prompt.

From start to finish GoKapital was a breeze to deal with. All of the reps I dealt with were knowledgeable and very professional, the business loan application and the turnaround was much quicker than I could have ever imagined. Highly recommended, Thanks Again!

GoKapital is by far the most best place ever to get an business loan, They had me approved in no time at all and i was explained every detail of my loan. I will never go anywhere else to get an auto loan again..
