I transferred enough money to the Gohenry account to pay out pocket money and you immediately took the monthly fee from me, very unhappy with this tactic of yours, you usually take this from me by direct debit from my bank account.

We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with your recent membership fee payment.
By default, membership fees are taken from the available balance in your parent account first. If there aren't enough funds available there, the payment will automatically be taken from your saved payment method. We don't collect membership fees by direct debit, instead, payments are made using the recurring payment authority linked to your saved card.
We'd like to take a closer look at what happened in your case. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to locate an account using the email address provided in your Trustpilot review, so we've sent you an email requesting a few additional details to help us investigate this further.

Love this app
Love this app! My daughter has had it for years. She is 15 now and still loves it. Allocating chores, leatning to save with the piggy bank function, learning how to buy items safely online and even using the card abroad! Family members are able to send money through as gifts too. All of this and I have complete controll. Setting parameters as she has grown and keeping track has been brilliant. I have recommended Go Henry to soooooo many people as it is truely worth it

Account blocked then account closed by go Henry for taking my own money out and transferring back to my own account so I could purchase for my children on my own debit card.

As you may know, GoHenry is an approved member of the VISA Youth scheme and is limited to, and intended only as, a pocket money account for children. We do monitor the accounts to ensure that the scheme is being used as intended. We review all of this information and may require some additional confirmation of funds which was required on your account.

GoHenry is a subscription-based service rather than a bank account. This means that monthly membership fees are charged for using the service, and to help us continue providing and developing the features available to our members.
