First time I’ve used go fund me but I was shocked to see a tip was added, quite a large one and I’d pushed myself financially to donate in the first place.Could find no way to delete it.
Sadly I shall not use this platform again.
Such a shame for the recipients .

I found the web site cumbersome. As the fund receiving Treasurer of a nonprofit I found it difficult to start transfers, once they started and were received, then our bank informed me you were using the wrong account number, I fixed that, then you informed me there was another error in the transfer process. For all of that to happen indicated something is not clear.

It's helpful to have GoFundme

Very easy. Only issue a 15% Tip amount was automatically added. It wasn't obvious to reduce or increase that amount. I think that an explanation of what the tip amount funds and a suggested amount is a better option.

GoFundMe is a terrible organization whose AI-Ray is worthless at providing answers. They want your money, but don't want to speak with you unless it's a chatbot. There payment system is outdated and malfunctioned while attempting to process my payment. I won't use them again. Business start-ups, please look elsewhere as this company is no longer worthy of supporting your dreams. Read all of the negative reviews; go elsewhere.

I am organizing a fundraiser with gofundme that is intended to help Palestinian refugees in the West Bank. After I started collecting funds, the platform informed me they are reviewing my fundraiser, and in the meantime the money is being withheld.

This was a month ago. Since then, they have been asking me the same questions over and over again with slight variation, and I provided them with everything they asked. At one point, they did not get back to me in 2 weeks.

They are unwilling to say what their concern is about the fundraiser, to give me a timeline for the review, or to have a direct conversation.

I took the same campaign to a different platform, and they didn't cause any issues.

A technical issue that has been sent to a technician for correction.
Tje Customer Service team was very helpful and responsive to my issue.
A work around was enough to quickly correct my problem

This organisation does not respond to highly critical reviews. I wonder why?
Their accounts and profits should be declared on here (I cannot find a companies house record)
The owners / directors should be named along with their income and what type of car they drive achieved by their ‘good deeds’

A con....I got a 'donation' 4 days ago. It isn't in my bank account yet. I have emailed them a few times and no reply

Had an honest campaign that was taken down by politically-opposing criminals because of a few fake letters. Really GoFundMe? Is that all it takes? Or are you the real terrorists?

Even though GoFundMe just sent me an email stating that they were happy that I had a positive experience I did not. The customer service is horrible, they need to hire somebody to actually answer a phone. I did not raise any money at all from GoFundMe, the links they kept sending didn't work, my friends weren't able to share, nobody was able to open anything and I did not get any contributions from GoFundMe. I contacted GoFundMe many times trying to get help and never got any. I am very frustrated with this platform. I don't know the exact date of experience.

The AI was ok but I needed a person to help me. Luis was great he helped me complete everything needed to get my GoFundMe account working correctly.
