Everything but a few minor points was great. Delivery of solar and battery was a bit of an issue because it was delivered onto driveway with no offer to move it to a secure area… Tesla batteries weigh over 90kg. Survey should be a little more in detail due to some minor wiring issues with my EV charger. But glow green and the electrical team sorted it all eventually. Would give 4.5 stars but can’t

Excellent company and excellent service.
Helpful and clear on advice. Everything went like clockwork on supply and installation.
Really pleased we have partnered with GlowGreen

Overall, really good. The sales team are super helpful and played a big part in choosing to go with glow green as a supplier. Waiting for information on the G99 & the scaffold install itself weren't great though. The solar install team themselves though we're super helpful and very professional on the day of installation.

Our installation engineer, Daniel, was excellent. He gave us very clear information about the process, was very punctual , very professional, very helpful and made things very smooth.

I’m sorry but I would not recommend this company for solar panel installation.
I hate leaving bad reviews but as a family we are fed up of constantly chasing glow green to resolve our solar panels not working for 3 weeks now.
The hottest 3 weeks we’ve had since they were installed a few months ago, and our solar panels have been completely out of action.
My partner is constantly contacting glow green on a daily basis, to resolve this and he’s not getting anywhere. He’s basically being ignored!
We are absolutely fed up of receiving poor service from this company.
And we just want our problem resolved.
After spending almost £10,000. This level of customer service is criminal!
I don’t recommend going with this company.
Customer service is shocking!

The experience from the start to finish was great, professionally handled and all queries how ever small were answered to my satisfaction in order for me to make a decision to purchase. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering buying Solar Panels.

***REVIEW UPDATE (original review below for reference, all of which reflects my experience)
Following leaving the review below, which was after a full 8 week complaint period process where not once was I called to discuss my complaint as noted below, I left the review and was very shortly contacted by Ian Webber, Head of Customer Service who explained this is not the service they want to provide customers and he would investigate and get back all of which he did efficiently and promptly unlike the rest of the Glow Green customer service. Ultimately he admitted GG had failed in their service and provided a compensation level I was happy with although don't fully agree with agreed outcome. That said, I am happy and given how they did seem to want to put things right in the end, I would use them again but bear in mind if there is a problem then customer service are awful and you will spend a long while waiting and getting the issue resolved. I originally gave 1 star, but have since updated to 4 stars. If you have no problems and the install goes as planned, then I sure anyone would give them 5 stars. ***
Avoid Glow Green.
The subcontractor who did the install (13/02/2026) and scaffolders were spot on — no issues. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience has been an absolute nightmare.
As soon as they’ve taken your money, you’re on your own.
Endless chasing just to get a reply
Promises to call back that never happen
Passed between departments who contradict each other
No one taking ownership of anything
Contractors turning up unannounced with zero communication
Glow Green change agreed system components without notification and state this is allowed under their T's&C's, which I agree with, however the changes need the same functionality which is not the situation in my case (even admitted by GG) but without any intention of rectifying but just syaing it is not needed. They have not satified the signed contract and this case can go to small claims court if necessary.
It honestly feels like they’re just buying time and hoping you give up.
After nearly 10 weeks of chasing, their idea of a resolution was a token £150 and a refusal to properly deal with the rest of the issues.
They’re far more interested in defending themselves than helping customers.
Would not use again and would not recommend to anyone.
I am now having to pursue this through Section 75, MCS complaints, HIES, Green Homes Dispute Resolution and FHIO/FSO, which says everything about how this has been handled.

Friendly and professional service throughout. All teams were excellent and I was kept fully informed at all times. Highly recommended.

From our 1st enquiry until the day of installation everything ran smoothly We were kept fully updated at all times. The guys that fitted the panels etc were very professional, very efficient. They took time to explain how things work in the house & on the app. The company then followed up with a courtesy call to let me know how things go forward.

The installation team were on time and kept me informed before and during the install and once complete walked me through the system and what they had done.
Overall I found the process of purchasing the system and having it installed by Glow Green professional and the people involved gave me a good level of confidence in the product.

On the day helpful and informative and explained everything so our questions were answered and nothing was to much trouble.

Glow Green installed my solar panels on 8 May, but the battery installation and commissioning still haven’t been completed.
The original battery location was agreed during Glow Green’s remote survey, but when the electrician attended on 8 May he rejected that location. After that, Glow Green repeatedly suggested and pushed for the battery to be installed in a shared alleyway, despite my legal concerns about installing fixed equipment in a shared access route.
I repeatedly asked for technical or regulatory justification, but none was provided.
A second electrician attended on 21 May and agreed a suitable location, but I’m still waiting for a firm commissioning date.
The scaffolding has been left up at my property for weeks with no written confirmation about whether it’s still required. This has caused significant inconvenience — I can’t fully open certain windows, the scaffold is noisy in windy weather which has affected sleep, and it has created a safety concern for my young children.
I’m still waiting for a confirmed installation/commissioning date so the system can be completed and the scaffolding removed. I’m happy to update this review if the situation is resolved.
Update 08/06/26:
Trustpilot review update
On 2 June 2026 glow Glow Green emailed confirming that the scaffolding could be removed and providing ambiguous information indicating that the electrician might attend someday that week.
Late on the following day I received an email that an electrician would attend potentially 4 June or definitely 5 June 2026, without a firm time or named engineer. That conflicting and vague information left me unable to plan work or family commitments for the week. Glow Green did not respond to my email requesting a clearer outline.
The electrician eventually attended on 5 June 2026, but the system is still not functioning correctly: it appears to be drawing power from the grid despite the battery showing fully charged, and the Duracell app is not working (Glow Green have said this is an app issue).
I have already provided full details and the email history to Glow Green’s Complaints Team, so I am surprised by their claim that they are “awaiting my details.” I am now entering my fifth week of disruption caused by repeated missed/unclear appointments and ongoing faults.
I will update this review again once Glow Green provides a full commissioning sign‑off, the app is working, and the system operates as expected.
Update 19/06/26.
Updated review – system finally working, but documentation still missing and financial losses mounting
After more confusion and delays, Glow Green finally completed the installation last Friday and the system is now operating correctly. Unfortunately, the problems haven’t ended there.
I am still waiting for the essential documentation — including the paperwork required to register my Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) tariff so I can actually get paid for the energy I export. The system is exporting to the grid, but without the SEG approval I receive £0 for it.
On top of that, I also had to pay for electricity during the long period where the system was installed but not commissioned, even though the battery was full and the panels were generating. This was entirely avoidable.
Glow Green continue to chase me for the final payment, yet the documentation I need to stop losing money remains outstanding.
Between lost export income and unnecessary electricity import costs, I estimate I am already over £200 out of pocket, and this figure is still rising — particularly frustrating during a period of high solar generation when the system should be saving and earning the most.
After weekss of delays, mixed messages, and administrative issues, it’s disappointing to still be dealing with preventable losses and incomplete aftercare. I will update this review again once Glow Green finally provide the required documentation.

Hi
I have been talking to Connor Andrews 31/5/2026(job title:Senior Account Manager).
He has all the sales talk and told me he would beat any like for like quote.
So after numerous phone calls I got a quote full breakdown of costs and forwarded it to him off a competitor.
Guess what:...he wouldn't match let alone beat the price...
Don't trust this sale patter...and shop around...talk is cheap!!!!!
Update to my post..
I have been contacted by Glowgreen(Richard Snell ) and he agreed that the terms of the price beat weren't explained fully to me...so would honour my competitors quote price and pay the £100 reduction.#Result
We had a constructive conversation.
In any business staff can get carried away trying to make a sale..and may say something clumsy. Im assured that Glow green energy have learnt and taken this one on the chin.
So installation day approached telephone call to say panels arriving Friday...installation Monday 13 July
All set I waited in,day booked off...12 o'clock I called office ..and was told no engineer booked for me..mix up their end.
You couldn't make this up!..so I'm being offered £200 as sweetener.
It's not about the money...all I want is a standard of service and transparancy
The company exceeded my expectations , giving a good price and efficient fitting.

The whole experience from start to finish was smooth. From our consultation to the organisation of the installation. The service was amazing and the installation Team, Dan and Harry worked like troopers to get the installation finished to a very high standard. The handover was superb with all elements explained. Would highly recommend.

Quick and easy process from start to finish.
Kept us updated throughout the.
Workmen are very polite and know what they are doing.
From putting up the scaffolding. Instillation, and the workmen(electrician ) even went through the app with me.
All in working order.
Glow Green called us afterwards to keep us updated in the next steps.
I love having solar addicted to the app.

Glow Green provided a competitive quote but with more solar panels than others. They do not visit the house for the design, I was however able to refine the panel layout using house drawings. The companies that do visit still use imagery to design their panel layout so no real advantage coming to the property. GG obtain all permissions from the Distributor Network Organisation. Phased billing was reasonable. Install pretty much went to programme. The 3 man Scotland installation team worked very hard over 2 days and with some bad weather to install the system. All roof work and electrical work very neat and appears to be of a high professional standard. Scaffolding was good and removed promptly. Overall very pleased and the system is working very well. Glow Green's customer service is outstanding - nothing is too much trouble for any of their departments. We were given step by step information as the process progressed. The guys who installed the panels were amazing given they had to do it during an intense heatwave! Everything was working well from the day the system was installed, Would highly recommend Glow Green Solar. Thank you!!
