In general, Global YO’s service was good. My challenge has been the local network (Telcel). Before purchasing services from Global YO I purchased 2 plans (one for myself and one for my wife). 5g tour... See more

Can I make international calls?
Yes. YO Calls lets you make outbound international calls from a temporary Global YO calling number — $6 in credit for $2.99. Useful for hotels, restaurants, embassies, anyone not on WhatsApp. The number isn't permanent and isn't tied to your account between trips.
What are YOYO$?

What devices work with Global YO?
Any eSIM-capable phone. Most iPhones (XS and newer) and major Android phones (Pixel 3+, Samsung Galaxy S20+, etc.) support eSIMs. See the full compatibility list in the app.
Can I use my regular SIM at the same time?
Yes. Most modern phones support multiple SIMs simultaneously. Keep your primary line active for calls and 2FA from home, use Global YO for travel data and international calling.

Global yo is great! I does seem to stop working sometimes when you are out and about. That is changing if you are trying to navigate with Google Maps, all and all it is pretty reliable.

I am changing my rating to 4 for the following reason - they gave me 50% back after my complaint and TrustPilot review. However, when I used the global eSIM for my travels around the gulf of Mexico it didn't work in two of the countries I visited and in a couple of others it took over an hour to activate, involving switching things off and on again. In the countries where it worked, it worked brilliantly.
I needed a global eSIM for travelling around different countries and also a reliable connection to keep in touch with home. I found Global YO and read the reviews which I always do. The final decider was a 50% off code for new users. I applied the code GOAT at checkout and it worked. My “total to pay” went from €44… to $22…. However, when I pressed “pay” the total reverted to €44…. I have emailed customer services with no response but they are now sending me marketing emails!
As requested I "reached out" to Mr Ricardo Mendez but I must have very long arms as he hasn't responded to me yet and, for a communications company, that doesn't bode well.

QR code was faulty so had to use Wi-Fi only on my trip as the company don't get back to you via e-mail & no other way to make contact.
Everyone said I should have gone to Maya & it's true; their ratings are much better. Maybe next time.
Still waiting for a response and refund after e-mailing ricardo.mendez as suggested but still no response & probably Global Yo have pocked my money. (Below reviews also mixed)!

I’ve had a great experience with Globalyo, mainly because of their support team. Their response time is fast, their communication is clear, and they solve issues efficiently without wasting your time.
Every time I needed help, the team handled it professionally and followed through until the problem was fully resolved. You don’t get generic copy-paste replies, you get real support from people who actually know what they’re doing.
A special thanks to Ninja Marya, she is truly exceptional. Professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed quickly and properly.
If you value fast responses, competent problem-solving, and customer support that actually cares, Globalyo delivers. Highly recommended.

I had massive problem with two eSIms with absolutely poor quality of internet. However, Mr Ricardo Maximiliano Briseño Mèndez from Global YO assisted me, kindly provided me the refund and gave me free eSim for another country. I must say he was very professional and did his best to accommodate my request. thank you

My eSIM stopped working after New Year and has been unusable for days. This already happened once before, and the issue was only fixed after a replacement eSIM was issued in December. Now the replacement has failed again.
Support is extremely slow and inefficient, sending one basic troubleshooting step at a time despite the service being completely unusable. I had already tried all standard steps (APN, roaming, network reset), but the back-and-forth continued while I had no connection.
I rely on mobile data for payments, transport, and staying connected, so this is unacceptable for a paid service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Global YO if you need reliable connectivity.

Customer service is painful at best. A plan was purchased and after numerous emails, I received credit back as calling credit only, no other credit was received. Now after 3 months, they remove the $6 credit with no notification and refuse to return it. I cannot recommend such shady practices.

So easy and convenient to get an esim, many countries available

Reply from Global YO
Do not use Global YO. They will say that they cover the country you are going to, then it doesn’t work and the support team close off your texts and emails. It’s a scam. Avoid them!

I have used service previously without any issues however this i purchased 2 esim for Oman which was really disappointing, almost like having no sim card that's how bad the service was. I tried to contact for help using the app support function which frustrated me even more with just automated responses and no real support. I did not receive the service which I paid for any when I requested complaint process I got the same automated response to check my settings. I would avoid for future and will go with another provider.

I have been using Global Yo’s eSIM cards for several years now, as I travel frequently and this allows me to stay in easy contact with my loved ones back home. I find the price–performance ratio to be very good, and I have always been satisfied with the service.
There is, however, one small drawback when it comes to installation: you always need a second phone to scan the QR code. While traveling, that’s not always practical or even possible. I would love to see a more convenient alternative installation method that makes the process even more user-friendly.
