Catastrophic Communication and Unlawful Withholding of Company Funds!Our company uses a POS terminal from Global Payments. On 14.10.2025 , a transaction of EUR 2,500 was processed through the terminal, which Global Payments subsequently blocked as a preventative FRAUD reserve.Despite the fact that we duly provided ALL requested documentation to prove the legitimacy of the transaction, and were officially informed in writing that the "CASE is closed" (Case Number: FRD-22656), the company ignore us to return the blocked amount of EUR 2,500.For several weeks, we have unsuccessfully contacted Risk Management, Fraud, and Customer Support. My emails are unanswered, phone urgencies lead nowhere, and a helpdesk request has been ignored.I demand a public explanation from Global Payments and the immediate return of the EUR 2,500 that you are unlawfully retaining. Such conduct (closing the case without releasing funds and zero communication) is unacceptable for a business partner.

I have been dealing with Globalpayments for over 10 years.
After selling my business and starting a new one I decided to continue with them With setting up a new account as they suggested.
The complete process was a shamble. The account manager was unprofessional with no knowledge ,inexperience and totally useless.
I was told as an exiting customer my new account will be switched over with minimum minimum interruption . It took nearly a month. No reply to my calls. I finally complained and asked my account to be closed .
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT .
I called Tyl with Natwest and with 48 hours my account was up and running.

Charlie was brilliant to deal with, he didn't mess about giving me different quotes, he was straight to the point with the best price he could give, he didn't hassle me with calls or emails to get me to sign up. He gave me time to decide if GP were the right company for me, and for this reason I went ahead with GP. No issues, no hassle, and good customer service.

I contacted Global Payments to change my account to a new company, Charlie Sweeney completed the transfer in a couple of days and offered a better deal than I previously had, excellent service and seamless transfer, highly recommended.

I closed my account with them and instead of closing it the month after like it was stated in their email, they closed it instantly. They still owed me money and it took ages to have it back. After that they removed money from my account for a made up reason. And on top of that, they continued charging me fees the month after even thought my account was CLOSED. I should have had my bank restrict that company from taking money from my account because they are fraudsters.
