We’re very sorry to hear that the range wasn’t the right fit for your hair on this occasion. Haircare is incredibly personal, and results can vary depending on previous product use, hair type, water hardness, heat styling habits and overall hair condition.

Even when simply changing from one haircare brand to another, it can sometimes take a little time for both the hair and scalp to adjust to a new formulation. Different brands use different ingredient balances, conditioning agents and cleansing systems, meaning the hair can temporarily feel different in texture or manageability during the initial uses while adapting to the change in routine.

In regard to the Yuka app, it’s important to note that these apps do not assess finished cosmetic formulations in the same way that qualified cosmetic safety assessors and laboratories do. They often score individual ingredients in isolation, regardless of the concentration used within a formula. In cosmetics, concentration levels are extremely important — many ingredients flagged by apps are used at tiny, strictly regulated percentages that are considered completely safe under UK and EU cosmetic regulations. In reality, you would need exposure to unrealistic quantities far beyond normal cosmetic use for many of these ingredients to pose any concern. You can actually select check in more detail on the app and it will tell you this within the app itself.

All of our products undergo extensive safety assessments and regulatory checks by qualified laboratories before they are approved for sale. Customer safety is and always will be a top priority for us.

While we completely appreciate that this range may not have suited your personal hair preferences, we do thank you for giving it a try and for sharing your feedback.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your order. We also just wanted to mention that we don’t currently stock a product called the “Dry Hair Box Set,” so we’d love to understand exactly which products you purchased from us.

Hair products can also take a little time to work effectively, especially when switching to new formulas. During the transition period, hair can sometimes feel different before adjusting fully, particularly if moving away from products containing sulphates or silicones. Results can vary depending on hair type, previous product build-up, water type, and styling routine.

Our formulas are designed to support long-term hair and scalp health rather than giving a temporary coated feeling, which can sometimes feel different compared to traditional salon products initially.

We’d really appreciate the opportunity to help further and recommend the best routine for your hair type. Please feel free to contact our customer care team directly so we can look into this with you.

Unfortunately, if a bundle or product purchased had since gone out of stock, an exchange would not have been possible at the time. However, we can confirm that the shipping fee should also have been refunded and we would be happy to review this with you once we receive your details.

We are also very sorry to hear that your order arrived damaged. This is certainly not the standard we aim for and we understand how disappointing this must have been. Having carefully reviewed the correspondence, we can see that you were advised on multiple occasions before your email to the CEO that any unused items could be returned to us, I then followed up after your email to our CEO stating the same thing again. For this reason, we are a little unsure where the misunderstanding may have arisen from, however we are truly sorry if any part of the communication caused confusion or frustration in any way. That was certainly never our intention.

Following your most recent email, we also offered to arrange a phone call so that we could personally talk through each communication step by step and answer any questions directly. We completely understood and respected your decision not to proceed with this for personal reasons.

As explained in our previous correspondence, all returns and refunds are assessed in line with the terms and conditions agreed to at the point of purchase and again when submitting a return request. These terms are available across multiple areas of our website and are acknowledged by customers during the returns process.

All customers are welcome to return eligible items within 30 days of purchase in accordance with our returns policy. However, whilst an item may be eligible to be returned to us for inspection, this does not automatically guarantee a refund if products are returned used, opened or not in a resalable condition.

Hair can be surprisingly complex, especially when you’re dealing with oily roots and dry ends at the same time. Finding the right balance often takes a bit of trial and error, even with products designed specifically for that concern. Things like how much shampoo you use, how thoroughly it’s rinsed, and even how long you’ve been using a previous product can all affect the result.

When switching to a new formula, your hair and scalp sometimes need a short adjustment period. If you’ve been using heavier or silicone-rich products before, for example, it can take a few washes for your scalp to rebalance oil production. In the meantime, roots can feel oilier or hair may fall flatter than expected.

Application can also make a difference—using a small amount of shampoo focused on the scalp, rinsing really well, and keeping conditioner strictly mid-lengths to ends (as you did) is a great approach. Some people also find that double-cleansing (a quick first wash, followed by a second) helps remove buildup more effectively when dealing with greasy roots.

That said, not every product works for everyone, and we completely understand your disappointment. Hair type, water hardness, styling habits, and even environment can all influence how a product performs.

We’d advise continuing to trial and adjust how you use the shampoo and conditioner set you’ve purchased—small changes in amount, technique, or frequency can sometimes make a noticeable difference in the results. We’ve carefully reviewed all communications regarding your order and ensured that all information and resolutions were provided, including a partial refund for the damaged items.

Despite this, you continued to contact us across multiple platforms even though the refund had been processed and a fair resolution was given.

We always aim to resolve concerns respectfully and fairly. Our team did raise a warning regarding the tone of some messages, as ongoing aggressive communication makes it very difficult to assist.

While we welcome genuine feedback, we cannot continue to engage in hostile exchanges once appropriate resolutions have been given as we operate a zero-tolerance policy

**We’re sorry to see your further update, however our position remains unchanged.

As previously explained, we carried out a full review of your case and provided a partial refund in line with the damage reported. The requests for images were part of our standard process when investigating parcels reported as damaged in transit.

We can also confirm there has been no change to our product formulations. Our products continue to meet the same quality standards since they have been launched, so I am unsure where you have gotten the information from that anything has changed however feel free to send this over and we will certainly look into the mis-information being advertised and who is doing so.

Throughout this process, our team remained professional, polite and consistent at all times, despite repeated contact across multiple platforms and an increasingly inappropriate tone. We continued to respond and provide clear, factual information in order to explain our processes and ensure full transparency.
