I purchased a google play gift card yesterday. I tried to use the gift card code sent to me. Google play would not accept it and had error message. I immediately contacted support at GCS. As yet have had no response. I want a refund. Bad customer service.

Awful company

Made an order for a Target gift card. Order was cancelled 2 hours later with no explanation. All billing details were confirmed and money was removed from my account by them. This company is a joke!

Buyer beware - only 60 days to resolve problem

Purchased several gift cards from them over the last year or so. Had a problem with one card and they refunded me. Recently, I purchased several cards over the holiday period (December) and, along with the store cards that came with bonus cards, used the store cards in January through March. Went to use three of the e-gift cards and they were NOT valid at all. When I asked the company to check out the issue, they responded that it was beyond the 60 day guarantee period and they could not help me. Stay away from online gift card sellers unless you plan to use the gift card right away to ensure they work. Don't let them pile up like I did and then get screwed for over $200.

I sold a $25 buffalo wild wings gift…

I sold a $25 buffalo wild wings gift card. I was asked to upload information to receive a check in the mail. It has been weeks and I have not received anything. I have been emailing them but they have not responded. Of course the gift card has a zero balance on it. They are scamming people left and right.

Seriously It's NOT the companies fault criminals are all around us!

Seriously YOU all can't be blaming a company for whatever scandalous Piles may be possibly selling their giftcards and then deciding to copy the #'s down with EVERY intention to rip off whomever & Whenever! When company buys from every day people w/giftcards they no longer want or use that isn't the problem. The problems clearly is when certain kinds of customers no one wants in their stores or to do business with generally, aka....crooks, thieves, criminals decide selling a card w/the funds available up until the funds on card they are selling have gone through the process of verification (by legit companies!) all to have Low Life scandalous criminals try to spend the copied down cards befor the new purchasers can! So whe. You are told to SPEND. Your purchased cards w/in a timely manner don't be to surprised when you've waited to long having something like this happen. It sucks !!' For sure. It's happened to me. I know. However it's NOT the companies fault. Its the criminals out among us all raking what isn't theirs to take !

DO NOT SELL A GIFT CARD TO THEM

DO NOT SELL A GIFT CARD TO THEM! I uploaded all details and sold a card to them on Dec. 4th, after a few weeks i emailed to see why i had not received a check then after a month in a half, 4 emails and no check, i deleted my ID, card information and address off the site and now today Feb. 7th i call to see why i never was paid for what i sold, they tell me i need it to upload my information. They had my information for a month in a half and didn't use it but now that i took it down and its been 2 months and i call to complain, they pretend like its because i have no information up but you need it the details in order to sell my card, which obviously you all had because you sold the card and it now has a zero balance. This site is a scam! I should have received a check after you sold the card, instead they try to make it seem like they need it information from me all of this time, SCAM SCAM SCAM! I called and the customer service rep hangs up in my face because i wanted to know why when all my information was on the website, why wasn't i sent a check and now that i took it off its all of a sudden my fault. Yeah right, SCAMMERS!!!!! I will make sure everyone knows about my experience and never do business with them!

After buying dozens and dozens of cards…

After buying dozens and dozens of cards from them I probably had 1 or 2 that have not worked. I had to email them and they refunded my money with no problems, best of all once you order a gift card they will immediately deliver it to you which is just what I need.

Ignored my BBB complaint..

GiftCardspread is one of half dozen gift card exchanges that have popped up over the last few years. I bought a few electronic gift cards, that initially worked, but when the retailer stopped accepting the cards without a pin, giftcardspread would not refund the remaining portion of the gift card because it was past their “warranty” period.

That is the biggest risk to getting a discount online gift card, after 3 or 6 months the exchange will not honor the card balance if something goes wrong. I understand the exchanges are ripe for fraud, and need a way to protect themselves, but I suspect that the retailer stopped accepting these cards without a pin because they were bootleg and not originally issued by that retailer.

After unsuccessfully lobbying both the retailer and giftcardspread, I opened a BBB complaint which the exchange responded to once, and then completely ignored.

Good business acumen.

Watch out; probably a scam.

The first time I used their site and gave them all my info (including credit card #) I got a confirmation that my order was processed. Then, 5 minutes later I got a second email that the order had been canceled. I'm concerned that they have my email address, name, home address and credit card info. I DO NOT TRUST THEM AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER!!!
