Lens had a damaged filter ring so had to return for a refund. Could not fit a filter or hood which is important to me. Not shown it the pictures or mention in the description. Poor quality control. Won't buy again from this seller

We’re only human, and occasionally things can be missed unfortunately, as well as damage that can occasionally occur in transit.
However when an issue arises, we’re always more than happy to put it right, as shown by our numerous other 5* reviews that mention how good our customer service is.
When you emailed to inform us of the damage to your lens, a pre-paid return label was sent to you within 24 hours and a full refund will be issued upon its return, as detailed in the returns guidelines on our website.
The lens that you ordered was also graded as “good” not “very good” items with the grading of “good” may have superficial wear and tear as you’d likely expect from a lens that’s 50+ years old.
Again, I apologise that your experience with us wasn’t a great one and your feedback will be passed along to the relevant team.

Thank you for your review, however I’d just like to clarify, you spent £9.99 on your camera, with free shipping.
There would be no possible way at all for us to include film and a battery with your camera for that price and it still make financial sense.
Also, nowhere on our site does it mention that our cameras come with film or batteries.
The images on our site are always the exact item that you’re buying, if something isn’t shown in the photographs, then it’s not included.
We do sell film separately however and this camera also uses a standard CR2 battery which can be picked up cheaply online.
I’ll provide a link to these batteries If you’re struggling to find them.

I don’t know if this review was meant for somewhere else or not as I have just checked this for you, and can confirm that no case was shown in the photographs or mentioned in the description of the lens that you purchased.

Camera arrived well packed and in very good condition. I had to clean up the battery contacts a bit to make it work. I took it for a photo shoot at it was a pleasure to use. Can’t wait to see the results :-)

Excellent communication fast shipping with nice little touch’s however I was slightly disappointed with the condition the camera was described as very good condition but it arrived with a broken battery cover . This could possibly have happened during shipping so I’m still happy .

We take great pride in our packaging and will over pack on purpose to avoid items being damaged in transit, as you’ll see from reading our other reviews that often say how well items are packaged.
Your review will however be passed over to the packing team for review and the cctv from when your order was packed will be checked and will be dealt with accordingly to see if extra training is required.
I would however like to highlight that your order was delivered to you on the 20th of December and your review was posted on the 28th, no prior communication has been received from you in this time before posting your review.
Had you contacted us about your issue, we’d have been more than happy to rectify it for you.
Your review also mentions nothing about how your order was packed or what damage has occurred to the camera upon you receiving it, if you’d like to email these details over to us, we’ll be happy to help get the matter resolved.
