This is a terrible app
This is a terrible app. They charge extra during what they consider “high demand” periods without properly informing customers, and the fee is not small at all. You only realise it when you see it on your bill, which is unacceptable. I will continue using other apps—definitely not Gett anymore.

We do our best to ensure all fees and charges are clearly presented in the app before you confirm your booking. I understand our support agents shared a screenshot with you showing how this is displayed, but I am sorry if you felt it was not visible enough, especially since you are new to our service.

Great experience while on a leisure…
Great experience while on a leisure trip to London. Easy to book and track driver via the app, payment shown in advance, picked up within a couple of minutes, cab very clean , driver very friendly and chatty. Will be my go to for a taxi on our future visits , thank you !

Helped a lot
We had a medical emergency and had to get to a specific hospital to sort it. We needed a large vehicle with a separate area so Gett was the obvious answer. Only drawback was the time it took to get to the location even though it wasn’t the height of the rush hour so a few shortcuts wouldn’t have gone amiss. Otherwise would recommend.

Didn't know this app existed. But is more reliable than uber. It's slightly more expensive, but it's quick and efficient.

Using the app was very easy and the cab came very quickly as per the booking information.

There was confusion where the pick up…
There was confusion where the pick up was. He wasn't at the meeting point in the car park so I had to call the Gett number and find out where he was.

Licensed Taxi fares in this area are governed by a meter regulated by the local authority, which calculates the final amount based on the specific distance travelled and the time taken.
I can see from your trip details that the journey ended at the airport. It is important to note that the airport charges a mandatory drop-off fee of £6.00 for all vehicles entering the Airport (including Taxis), This is an external fee charged by the airport itself, which is added to the metered fare.
