Disappointing Experience!

I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent experience regarding the purchase of inflatable kayak. Despite completing full payment via credit card, we encountered multiple delays and unclear inquiries, only to ultimately be informed at the end after almost a week that the product will not be sold to us with strange explanation that we are strange!

This back-and-forth communication has been a complete waste of time and has caused unnecessary frustration. We expect a more transparent and efficient process when dealing with a professional supplier, and this experience has left a negative impression.

Hi Edit,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
For transparency on this order - your order was for a Jobe Inflatable Kayak worth over £600 from North Macedonia which was placed on the 24 February.
This order was to ship to a UK shipping agent and then it would be forwarded to you.
Unfortunately, due to previous problems, with all international orders we will always call the shipping agent to confirm the delivery address in the UK before we ship. We tried repeatedly to contact Ben in the UK by mobile phone (which went to answer phone) and by email. Having left messages we never had a reply from Ben.
We then searched the address for the shipment in the UK through Google and spoke to someone there - they had never heard of Ben and have had similar calls for Ben in the past.
I finally got to speak with Ben but only by Whats App.
Unfortunately by now we were reluctant to send the order - I contacted you and asked that we could change the payment method from an online Credit Card transaction to a bank transfer or an international transfer via Wise.
At this point you decided that you no longer wanted the item and you cancelled your order on 28 February.
We have subsequently been in contact with Jobe and have sent you the details for the Jobe agent and distributor in North Macedonia where you can purchase this inflatable kayak.
We felt uncomfortable with the order and described the order and process as strange - not yourselves.
For all Jobe orders in the future please go through the distributor in North Macedonia.
Many thanks,
Get On The Water

Shocking service

Ordered a product that was stolen from the doorstep but the retailer is refusing to follow consumer law and provide a refund. Even the photo proof shows the item as dumped on the doorstep and not actually delivered. Will now have to claim through my credit card company.

Hi Jason,

Many thanks for your order.

We have had many conversations via email regarding your order and we are disappointed that you choose to leave such a review.

Your order was received on Friday and dispatched the same day.

You sent us an email on the Monday morning saying that you didn't now want the item and how could you cancel the order. We gave you information on how to do this - in line with our returns policy.

You later that day sent us confirmation of the delivery with a picture. You stated that you were intending to reject the delivery, but hadn't had a chance to see the driver to do so.

A couple of days later you let us know that you were actually in the road when the delivery was made and you had asked the driver to take it back.

Once a courier has made a delivery they won't then take it unless a new delivery order is made.

When the delivery was made you could have retrieved the package from the doorstep and secured it and returned it to us as we had advised but instead you choose to leave it on your doorstep.

You then requested we refund you and claim the money back from Evri for failing to deliver - but we both have proof of delivery and you could at any point have secured the package and followed the correct return procedure, but unfortunately you choose not to.

As a result you then went on to claim the money back from Paypal and your credit card company.

Did you advise the Police that someone had stolen a package from your property?

Kind regards,

Get On The Water

Perfect purchase

I was so pleased with my first purchase of a GUL Recore Radiation Undersuit that I bought a second as a backup. It arrived very quickly so no complaints at all. If it’s of any use I am 6’1” and Large fits perfectly.
