They just denied my dispute for 10 separate charges that went through at exactly 11:59 pm for 3100. Just let someone steal my money and they aren’t gonna pay me back. Pure evil

Poor Cybersecurity Practices

They leaked my name, contact information, account number, social security number, and date of birth. The only "compensation" they give is 2 years of free credit monitoring and identity theft services through a third-party, which does not compensate for the permanent and lifelong damage of having that information leaked.

I now have to forever be worried about identity theft, and I have to pay for those services out of pocket after the free 2 years is up. Never using this company or anyone affiliated with them ever again.

Data Breach

Don't do business with Evolve -- they are a disreputable company. They didn't properly secure their systems and there was a massive data breach including addresses, date of birth, and social security numbers.

Do not use this bank

Do not use this bank. We were considering using them, never signed the final contract and they started to deduct fees...and continued to until I stopped it...and we never even processed a sale.

Have Evolve Bank & Trust Account (via Yotta Bank)

My connection with Evolve Bank & Trust (EBT) is through my account with Yotta Bank. EBT states that they do not have access to the tools (from Synapse) necessary to move or account for my funds. However, that is a huge lie considering that they deducted money from my account to pay for my Yotta Credit Card (which is also tied to EBT) while my account was already frozen.

EBT has not been fair to the customers and has, so far, refused to cooperate with the court (I've attended a couple of sessions and read summaries).

As of writing, they now should have the tools to allow them to return funds to users; however, there is a twist: they are missing a butt load of money so they cannot pay people yet. In addition, EBT got hacked and leaked lots of sensitive customer/user data.

I'm surprised that issues such as unreasonably freezing user funds, stupidly misplacing user funds, and leaking user data are not considered signs of bank failure since these all have lost the users' trust in the company and show the company's failings and poor management.

Uber offered me this card...Evolve Bank…

Uber offered me this card...Evolve Bank and Trust with a Green Leaf Branch logo on it.. 🤷‍♂️ Between 05-01 and end of June I made 15 individual deposits (totalling around $4k) at different 7/11 locations and each deposit cost me $4.95... Now I have someone constantly emailing me to submit proof of funds, financial statements to support my cash deposits... I used this card for various transactions and they even want to see the paperwork on the made transactions???? I put my hard earned cash into the account and now I'm being screened??? How is this ok? They said if I don't submit paperwork the account will be closed, currently the card is Locked... is this fair practice?

Froze my money and leaked info

I deposited money with Evolve through the Juno website and app. On May 11, 2014, a partner of Evolve filed for bankruptcy. Evolve is so incompetent that they can't verify customer balances without the partner. I've lost access to my money. What's worse is that they weren't reconciling balances and it appears like money is missing. FDIC doesn't cover it since the bank hasn't failed. Also, their security is terrible. They were hacked and my information was released. They're the absolute worst bank.

My money is being held hostage

My money is being held hostage. Two months and still no word about when or if (?) we can withdraw our money. Meanwhile Evolve isn't even paying us the promised interest rate. A horrible, scammy company. My emergency fund is no longer accessible to me.

Evolve Bank is a dumpster fire

Evolve Bank is a dumpster fire. They partnered with several Fintech companies with the promise of keeping your money insured, but froze our accounts 2 months ago. To this day, I am still without my $3k dollars. To make matters worse, these guys got hit by a massive data breach by Putin's Kremlin and lost our sensitive information.

You [Evolve] know when you've doing a bad job when you receive a letter from the United States Senate demanding money be returned to customers' accouts.

Huge huge warning!

Don't keep any money with evolve or their fintech affiliations!
U.S. Senators just sent a letter to them telling them to pay end users their full amount of funds owed
* i have thousands of dollars that evolve cut access to. Hundreds of millions of dollars are allegedly missing on their watch with their fintech affiliations.

The FDIC sent a Cease & Desist letter with a ton of requirements regarding their money laundering, risk mitigation, capital management and fintech affiliations.

This was days before they got hacked and 33 terabytes of customers Personal identifying data got leaked.

I had a lawyer send them a letter and they never replied. They also never replied to the direct message or review i previously posted.

Currently they have tons of attorneys, governing bodies and consumers attention for all the wrong reasons. This is incompetence, misfeasance and possibly malfeasance at its highest degree.

Do not trust these people with 1 cent. Dont just take my word for it. Google all the articles and videos.

Catastrophic Experience

This institution has frozen my account for several months (Whereas if I was a millionaire you can be sure this issue would have resolved within two days) and has now suffered a severe date breach that has put myself and most other clients associated with them at serious risk. I would actively run as far away from this organization as possible, and can only hope they are shuttered by the experience they have heaped upon all of us.

I had to starve for 2 days

I had to starve for 2 days because my money in Yotta got frozen... I'm not saying it's Evolve's fault that it happened but someone has to take responsibility for destroying the lives of many customers...

Unprofessional

First they withheld everyone’s money for months on end and now they’re saying our account information has been breached? This is the most unprofessional bank I have ever seen.

Dumpster Fire of a Company

Evolve froze Yotta's end user accounts, leaving me and countless others unable to access our savings since May 10th (it's July 1st as I type this). I have my life savings in there and there is no guarantee I will be made whole. They have stonewalled the investigation, and now they've just had a cybersecurity breach that exposed my personal information to criminals on the darkweb. So now I'm unable to access the money I need to live AND my identity may be stolen. This company is a dumpster fire.
