I’ve tried using this AI tool multiple times now, and it is honestly a complete disaster. Half the time it completely freezes up or refuses to respond at all, and when it finally does, the answers are flat-out incorrect. It completely misses the mark on even basic tasks, hallucinations run rampant, and it feels like it's getting worse instead of better. Save your time and use literally anything else. Total waste of space.

I'd give zero stars if I could. The new Gemini assistant is useless. It failed to understand even the most basic command and doesn't work with Apple Music. Seeing as Google Assistant managed this flawlessly for years, I struggle to understand how Google have managed to downgrade this much.

I have used google assistant for some years, initially on my mobile and latterly in my volvo car. It was brilliant. Never got anything wrong. In the morning when my alarm went off or a timer sounded I simply said stop and they stopped. Setting a timer was also easy and worked first time every time. Since buying a new Pixel 11 and using gemini as the assistant it is hopeless. 1 star is more than it deserves. It rarely sets the timer. It refuses to stop when the timer or alarm set despite saying hey google stop timer/alarm. Using it to call Liz it only offers me a choice of Liz or Lucy! This morning I asked it to navigate to Ellesmere Port Hospital but it didn't recognise the destination so I had to input the destination manually. I only got as far as Elles and the first destination was the hospital. Why have google changed something that worked so well for something that is next to useless.

Worst thing that’s happened to human society. Proper dumb to death these ai models and tools 😂🤦‍♂️ since these stupid AI tools have put into our phone they can’t get things straight I didn’t experience that just today I’m experienced that since it’s been putting into our phone since like 2018 they are not good for human society that can easily mistaken your data that can easily mess up your data and get things wrong and that’s what they are doing.

If I could get a -1,000,000 stars, I would.

Horribly unpredictable and sticking with parameters simple data sets turn into counseling sessions and then thread that goes on for three days tracking blood pressure. Spoke to it 15 minutes ago now it’s gone no recovery.

I went to pay it in and told hey google its impossible then it says I messed up and dropped the ball and that i am right in the first place.all it does is say you are frustrated. You are angry. You are annoyed its like it is implementing feelings and thoughts that dont exist.
It is enough to drive anybody insane it is that useless. I am sick to death of it telling me things that are not true. If you value your sanity and dont want to be psychologicaly manipulated .DO NOT USE IT. IT SHOULD BE BANNED PERIOD.

For anyone with autism or prone to autism meltdowns. And sensory overload please do not use . Gemini as it is known to glitch to the point. It will throw an endless loop of texts . Causing people to have a meltdown. I am high functioning autistic. And Gemini has caused me go have an autism meltdown twice . And trying to tell it stop didn't do anything. It just kept going do not use Gemini.

Don't waist your time. It doesn't remember routines and changes the same processes that I do every day into a different format or doesn't remember creating a a document when I just did it 2 minutes prior. The only reason I am paying the monthly fee is because I need the storage on my drive. I would really give 0 stars if I could.

I had a very informative conversation with Gemini and even created a document that was to have been a dissertation topic. After months of using Gemini, it is no longer available without a subscription. Even at that, I am not sure the conversation has been retained. I will start over with a legitimate AI program like Claude or ChatGPT. Neither of them try to intentionally screw you over.
Gemini is about as useful as the internet Google left in its wake. Both are useless

I cannot believe just how bad Gemini is, its not even worthy of one star. Why Google changed a perfectly good assistant to this I will never know, in truth, its like a poor prototype that should've been shelved and never rolled ou, its that bad in its current form that I simply don't use it, whereas with Google Assistant, I used it all the time, to make calls, send texts, get directions etc and Google Assistant was fast, Gemini, well, saying its painfully slow would be being kind, its the worst assistant I have ever used and If I could go back to Google Assistant I would, but, once the update has been done, there's no going back and so, Google, you have a problem, you've created something that in no way is as good as what you already had and that's not progress, its taking backward steps. Based on my own user experience, I would rate Gemini a whopping zero and if I could go back to the old Google Assistant, I would, in a heart beat..................

This is AWFUL!! I can't add to my lists anymore without pure frustration! It has to be told twice just to add to a shopping list, and then sometimes doesn't even add it! Wrong lists, no lists, incorrect information. Assistant was so easy, worked and was very dependable. Why change it? Or better yet, why not give us the choice to switch or not? READ THE ROOM!! WE HATE IT!!! GIVE US BACK GOOGLE ASSISTANT!! You wanted us to depend on you for our daily tasks and now you've prematurely forced this useless disaster of a tool on us. I think Apple may be in the near future. SWING AND A MISS GOOGLE.

this app is so dumb.... i write a simple prompt for example: " write me a 12 detail prompts varying the camera angle and the shot type." guess what? it generate an image... i replied i didn't ask to create an image, i just tell you i need a 12 detail prompt, and he continue a generate this image. Another example... I paste a copy a detail prompt shared by a friend and i paste to Gemini, the prompt didn't show sessual expression or nudity. it was simple prompt. And he continue to insist that image cannot be generate after like 10 trial finally he generate the image. The result was pretty good but i didn't like so i retry to generate and.... he said:" i cannot refill this requestion sorry." Honestly For creating image i switched to google flow, this model understand perfectly the detail prompt or simple promt. And the result is awsome. For the chatbot i switched to chat gpt, or claude. Sorry for my English. I'm Italian and i tried to my best to write about my experience with this orrible app.

Everything goes wrong. All of it. ALl the time. It can't even set an alarm on a phone. It's been "thinking" about it's response to my last utterance for nearly ten minutes now, but with no response whatsoever. It is a complete waste of time and is a terrible invention.It should be redesigned from the ground up.

Totally unreliable makes mistake after mistake and throws up outdated incorrect information found best option is to run stuff by Gemini first to get a rough outline of what you really want to find out then copy and paste session into chat gpt which invariably points out and corrects Geminis lame results though it’s far from ideal in many cases due to chat GPT’s limited session quota on free version you can get far more achieved by doing it that way as putting a single block though flawed makes max use of limited timed exchange’s on chat gpt

In reality it did mimic the layout of the program I wanted to emulate. Actually got a few things working. Maybe way down the road I can develop something from it but there is one big problem.

This thing is so utterly mistake prone and error ridden it's hilarious and this is one 'of the best'? To be honest what I really see is something that may eventually work but I have to believe it is INTENTIONALLY screwing up to use your credits up for the day without really getting anywhere. Seriously how do you modify a completely unrelated area and screw something up that wasn't even touched. Back and forth and back and forth and back and forth it goes. Breaks one thing, fixes another. Then goes back and breaks that. Then fixes it but breaks something else. I notice that the error 'it definitely fixed' breaks over and over and over again.. the same EXACT thing.. then fixes it. Each day I waste all the credits going through this.

I was under the impression that coding was it's strongest use. No, no it's not. Not even close. To test this theory I went out on the internet, found the solution MYSELF three times then went and fixed their bad coding. Guess what it did? Went right back and broke it three more times in the same exact way.

So I tried creating the simplest program I could imagine. SAME THING. Over and over again just randomly breaking things then YOUR QUOTA HAS BEEN EXCEEDED. I even tried PAYING for it. Seems it cut me off in the same amount of time anyway and the only thing paying did was get EVEN MORE ERRORS.

Do NOT waste your money with this or any AI because none of them are even remotely capable.

I’m very disappointed with Gemini Pro. The biggest problem is that it often does not follow my instructions.

For example, I ask it to perform a specific task, but instead of following my request, it continues doing something different or repeats its previous response. Even when I clearly explain what I want and provide a detailed prompt, it sometimes ignores the instructions.

I mainly upgraded to Pro because I expected better instruction-following and more reliable results. Unfortunately, this has been frustrating and makes it difficult to use Gemini for studying and creating flashcards.

The main issue is not the quality of the answers themselves, but that Gemini does not consistently do what I explicitly ask it to do.

We should have an option to give 0 stars because Gemini is horrible in every possible ways ! It literally ruined my travel by giving wrong informations . I don’t understand how an IA can make so much mistakes . It will give you wrong informations out of nowhere without verifying updates etc .

Gemini is big size donkey- It does not understand complex concept. Hallucinations and stubborn are problems. Can not give negative stars - otherwise it will be negative. It ruins your complicated project. For complex project DO NOT use gemini
