do not use gate1.co.uk

I have tried contacting via email several times and no one has responded. no call backs to explain why my flight was changed. Booked with British airways to go to Montego Bay and was put on American airlines instead, requested for a call back prior to my travel in July 2023 still no call back. tickets on BA cost more and I checked itinerary prior to booking.
This was second time to use gate 1 and both experiences have been awful. I would not recommend at all, I think this website needs to be reviewed or taken down

Shocking treatment

Shocking treatment, no ability to contact apart from their website which does not allow you to respond to emails, no human you can talk to, been waiting for a refund for 5 months and now the airline are saying they can see no request for refund from Gate1, Gate1 say don't contact them, they are waiting on airline. Trying to find out if the refund request is even in but cannot get a response and you cannot call them!!! Stay away!!! A simple phone call or chat could sort all this out but being told not to contact, just wait is unacceptable and this is their legal responsibility!

Simple process

Simple process and cheap, but you get no service if you need help.
I'll avoid from now on and stick with booking direct with airlines and not third party ticket suppliers

Although I always feel worried by the nature of these websites - taking me from one site to another - this went quite smoothly. I won't be satisfied (breath easier) until I receive confirmation of the flight deatils via email - at the time of writing this that has not yet happened - 6 mins later!
