Operations and logistics has gone rapidly down hill buying direct or 3rd parties who rely on GW fulfilling orders to them. It’s been delay after delay after error after another excuse. On top of this... See more

Website
GWs website is a total wreck, before when they had the old website was really GOOD and easy to navigate!
I was on their website maybe 1-2 times every day and now almost never.
I tried now again to see after 3 months ago I last visited it, and its still crap.
Just as they say here in Sweden, '' gör om och gör rätt'' which means - do again do right.
And I never order from their website, last I did it, the UPS didnt even noticed that the package was delivered. So I had to call to the GWs customer service, just terrible.
And their price over their models... come on who are you trying to hustle? Nope wont buy from them too, because they dont deserve it.
They will see soon when more and more customers will stop buy their stuff it will hurt them badly.
North America Customer Service is Bad.
Tried to let North America Customer Service know the parts in the Wintermaw box were broken. Since I purchased the box from Amazon the customer service from GW refered me to work with Amazon. After the Amazon Seller tried to send me parts they opened several boxes with broken parts just liked mine. I tried to bring this to the attention of GW and was told I need to take it up with the third party. If you are like me you like the games but the Customer Service is really bad, there are other games that are fun and have good customer service that are fun to play.
My experience with Games Workshop has…
My experience with Games Workshop has been disappointing. Their products are overpriced for the quality, and their customer service is lacking, with long wait times and unhelpful staff. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Games Workshop based on my experiences.
Games live of their fan base.
Games live of their fan base. GW has many times shown they totally don’t care: since 2007, year I started playing Warhammer, their prices have risen of 90%. They constantly actively deceive their customers as per the case of Warhammer + (they made the animated series a big part of their réclame, 3 years in they have released less than the 20 series they said they were producing). Now they are cancelling units released less than 4 years ago to resell a newer version to players and are silencing dispense on their social platforms. Just no. No ethic in their business.
It was fun while it lasted!
Went woke and sold out.
Started with GW products in 1998
Started with GW products in 1998, the price increases and company politics has made me walk away.
I will not be missed.
Another hobby ruined
Never thought GW would bend over for the woke crowd, but here we are. Another great hobby being ruined by people who don't even care. They only do it to spite people having fun and not subscribing to their idea of "inclusion", which in reality is exclusion of everything they don't deem right.
There are loads of females in 40k, and 90% of them are badass, cool and worth rooting for. While 90% of the male characters are at least morally grey, and mostly arrogant and outright idiotic. Where is the "representation" missing???
I will probably never buy anything from them again, even though i used to love their universes. Such a shame.
SCAM
One week they sell units and miniatures that are viable to play with and the next week all the overpriced models and boxes you've spend hundreds on are no longer viable to be played with.
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
I cannot login and purchase anything
I cannot login and purchase anything. The website was designed poorly. You cannot access your account, and shop at the same time.
They consider their tools 'perishables'
I purchased a set of the wildly overpriced clippers from games workshop trusting that for the $50 price tag, I would be getting a top quality product. I did not. The internal spring no longer functions and I'm left with a tool that is effectively useless. I contacted customer service, which tool nearly 3 weeks due to the phone going to a recording stating it was outside their normal business hours when it was directly in the middle of them. This happened day after day. I was relieved to finally reach a customer service representative. While he was nice enough, he informed me that Games Workshop consider their tools 'perishables' and would not provide any support or replacement. His recommendation was for me to disassemble them and fix them myself. For a $50 purchase, a casual hobbyist should expect far more than the ability to clip models from a few sprues before they die.
False advertising
Information on their new website that is five years out of date leading to a purchase (essentially false advertising) and they couldn't care less.
Awful attitude, awful site, awful company.
good models.
ordered 4 items on off website been…
ordered 4 items on off website been intouch four times and about 8 emails cant get one item supposed to be refunded no refund yet 3/5 working days for the figure they say that they have posted the rest off it yesterday on tracked 48 royalmail and it states its at the midlands post office im disgusted with them, and soon as my other order arrives ill not be ordering anything else ever from them. poor company they take your money and if you want to cancel order they wont let you because its processing, but its processing from when you put order in so you have got no chance at all, when you put order in all instock then the big companys get first stock i ordered at 10.00 oclock, and still they say they cant get hold of the figures stock or no stock they want to think about the smaller customers who helped them through the covid by ordering keeping them going dissapointed all together. had to phone again for them to sort refund what was supposed to be done four working days ago and nothing sorted again very poor service
Terrible
Terrible! Cancelled my order for no reason! 2 emails send and no response back! Just really poor
Extremely poor service.
Same as alot of other reviews honestly.
Preorder doesn't ship on time, and can't be cancelled.
I write customer support who takes ages to answer, only to get told they can't cancel it due to their system setup, and no other options given.
I won't be shopping from them again. First and last time.
Terrible new webstore, awful shipping times
The new webstore is an absolute nightmare to navigate. There was nothing wrong with the old one, they just decided to redesign and broke it. ever heard of if it aint broke don't fix it?
Also the shipping is getting ridiculous. Used to be a week which was slow but now, when ordering items that are fully in stock. It's telling me 12 days is the standard. In this day and age there is no excuse for this, especially when most independant stores can get it to you next day or the day after. Why is a multi-million £ company being outperformed by independants? But of course some items are exclusive to the webstore so you have to get it from GW directly.
It's an absolute shambles is what it is, and the corporate bigwigs should be ashamed.
deathwing assualt box preorder
i am so annoyed right now as i per-ordered hasnt even shipped while every store already has it and for what reason i dont know it might have been because i added some more models but then they should tell me it will take more time
Ordered my copy Old World Warhammer on…
Ordered my copy Old World Warhammer on Pre-order day the 6th of Jan, queued for an hour got on the store order my tomb kings and waited for release day 20th of January and my order update.
No update still processing 31st of Jan, customer service online and via phone are for lack of better words a joke, reading from a script, automated BOT like answers to your questions and clearly can only see what you can see when you log into your My Warhammer account your order is Processing....
Well that's genuinely the least helpful response I need from a customer service representative.
I can see it is processing still that's why I called so you could tell me where in the process is it?
All I know is my money has been earning them interest since the 6th of Jan and the share holders are going to receive a nice fat bonus on their shares thanks to low cost computerised order distribution that doesn't work properly and atrocious customer service.
I won't be buying direct again and will take my money to the smaller independents that offer discount on GW products I am not dealing direct with GW ever again.
Maybe my Tomb Kings army boxset will be exhumed from the ground at the Segro logistics park in 2 - 3,ooo years time by a team of archaeologists and maybe they will finally discover what happened to my order.
Complete joke
Complete joke, pre-ordered old world and its now over a week since release and I still haven't even had a dispatch email. Support when they bother to reply is useless and can't tell you anything. Wont be ordering direct again that's for sure.
They will take your money, not despatch on time and not let you cancel
I have brought from GW direct on numerous occasions without issue. For the Old World Pre Orders they have failed to despatch my order a week after the release date. The real kicker is that they won't let you cancel the order! They tell me their 'system' doesn't allow them to cancel an order once its started.
I can't understand a company that takes your money, fails to despatch products on time and then refuses to return your money. Do yourself a favour and get your models from an independent stockist.
