Really annoyed as was brought for a birthday present. Delivery date was with plenty of time but here we are 2 weeks later and tracking shows its hasn't even been sent yet. Would definitely not recommend
Shipping was far too long!
Really looked forward to gifting this for a birthday. But it took over 2 weeks to arrive (despite saying 5-7days on the website) and they tried to blame RM but they hadn't even shipped it until a week after ordering. So if you're ordering with Christmas in mind, you might want to think twice 🤷♀️
I've changed my review from 1 to 3 stars as despite the awful delivery times and terrible customer service, the product itself is lovely.
Easy to follow - ideal for beginners
Ordered and completed 3 of these sets now. I had never crocheted before - a complete beginner! But I was so pleased to be able to follow the step by step instructions via video and achieve a cute little Fuppy. I’m looking forward to the release of some more companions - ideally themed to the season (pumpkin, snowman, Santa) would be fantastic 🤞🏻 Highly recommend.
A great new hobby
I've ordered several kits starting last Christmas for my wife and have always had an excellent experience.
When ordering I am given an estimated delivery date, which has ranged from a couple of days (for items in stock) to a couple of weeks (for items coming back in or pre-orders).
The kits themselves are excellent quality. The instruction videos make them far easier to understand and use than other kits my wife has tried (she wanted to crochet a pumpkin for halloween, it's currently less than halfway done and she has shouted in frustration at the paper instructions more than once).
Original order delayed but resolved now
Update: Following my review below, Fuppys contacted me to apologise, issuing a full refund and sending me the item I had ordered which I received by the end of the week. They explained they work with a small fulfilment company that had been experiencing some unexpected delays recently, and at the same time a few of their kits went out of stock, which caused my order to be delayed. They also clarified that they are 100% based in the UK (I'd mentioned it looked as though they were based in Hong Kong as it came up as such on my payment) and that Hong Kong was where one of their old domain registration partners operates, but all of Fuppys including the warehouse are right here in the UK which is good to know.
So I do have the 'penguin' now although too late for the birthday present but perhaps I will try it myself! (Only given 3/5 stars due to the delay and poor communication prior to the review)

I cannot stress enough not to buy from this web site. I wish I had read the reviews first. I ordered on the 2nd October, received a notification more or less straightaway that the item had been dispatched with a Royal Mail tracking number, and I am still waiting. They seem to blame the Royal Mail based on my communication with them and other comments on here, however, Royal Mail says it is still waiting to receive the item from them. Royal Mail are not the problem here, it is Fuppys. The company is registered in Hong Kong so the items are probably coming from there. I have asked for a refund as this was a birthday present and the birthday has been and gone. Needless to say I haven't heard anything. Please think twice before ordering. Read the reviews in date order and you will see all the recent ones mention this issue. So gutted.
Fabulous brand, terrific customer service
I recently placed an order for two Fuppy sets for my niece's birthday present. When they hadn't turned up nine days later, I contacted Fuppys. They told me they were problems with Royal Mail and that it would be a couple more days. When I explain politely that I couldn't wait any longer and that I and my niece would be really upset, they pulled out all the stops and sent a replacement set to me the following day at their own cost.
Charlotte, the customer service agent helping me could not have been more patient helpful and kind. She personally ensured that the order arrived the next day and even followed up the next day to check that it had.
This level of customer service is truly unparalleled and coupled with the gorgeous product itself, I can only say how impressed I've been with this brand. Huge thanks to Charlotte and all at Fuppys.
Order delayed but company put it right
Update - since my original review, fuppys contacted me to apologise. They gave a refund and dispatched my order free of charge as an apology. I have started the kit and it is really good quality and easy to follow for a beginner.

Nobody has answered my email - Royal Mail advised to contact sender. What is going on?? Absolutely ridiclous taking people's money and I have nothing to show for it.
Not able to access the online video…
Not able to access the online video after 5 days despite reporting the cessation of service. The product is sold on basis of online video instruction. Great but only available online not downloadable and now not available. I’ve contacted the business twice and been told to be patient. All I have is a useless very basic paper instruction leaflet. The reason I’ve bought the kit is that I can’t crochet and need some help!! Their USP is the video instruction. That should be available to download so the customer can use when they want to use the kit ( plane, holiday). Not impressed and will not be buying another kit.

I ordered from them as a gift for someone. After tracking didn’t update for several days, I emailed to ask for an update. They did get back to me fairly quickly but the email was sent just after midnight. I re checked the tracking and my order is at Heathrow airport? A bit strange considering their website specifically states they are a ‘UK based small brand’. I’m awaiting a response and hopefully my order will be delivered. I should have read the reviews about delivery time (I’ve only waited 11 days so far so not as bad as other reviewers)
A Woobles knock-off but worse
A Woobles knock-off but worse. Yes this comes with written instructions, but as a beginner crochet kit it's really disappointing to try to go on the website for the videos on a weekend for them to say they are all down for maintenance for 3 DAYS! So I've spent all this money and can't progress because the written instructions don't make sense because I am only a beginner.
Did arrive, neither has the refund
Ordered at the start of August, nothing arrived.
I've chased this 4 times and been told I'll be fully refunded but still to receive this.
Such a shame but categorically wouldn't recommend this company. I'm £20 out of pocket, with lots of hassle but no product.

I have consistently tried to contact them but have had zero response for months now, their customer service is practically non existent. There is no address and the email used is pointless to have if they’re not going to use it. For a ‘UK based’ company it seems like they need to get the basics in order before selling to reliable customers.

I've been waiting since July to receive my order. I sent a lot of emails, eventually I got response and they said it is delivered which is not. They said they will resend it however I couldn't receive my order again! it is not cheap, I paid £38 and yet no product since July ordered. and Stay away from this website.
Note: I received my kit early this month; they resent it although they didnt have to. Looks like there is an issue with Royal mail.
Order never arrived
Can’t provide a review on the product but the shipping duration and lack of customer service has been really surprising and disappointing. Ordered over a week ago and the items still haven’t been shipped. If there is an issue fine, these things happen. Set expectations with your customers and update your shipping policy on your website and keep your customers informed.
Very fiddly and over complicated
I found the tutorials very confusing with some important ones missing/not available to view so unable to complete my first fuppy. When I contacted customer services via their chat the only response was that the chat advisor was typing. I tried to return unused ones both via the chat and WhatsApp number but again no response from them, only buy these if you are a competent at crochet as very fiddly. I would not recommend.

Extremely disappointed… I ordered in July, I still haven’t received my order… I’ve written countless emails for a refund which seem to be ignored. Fortunately I paid via PayPal and if I haven’t heard anything by January 2026 Paypal will refund. So Fuppys… you’ve had enough time , get your finger out and just do the decent thing
Order not received despite contacting them twice with no response!
Order placed on the 17th August, emailed a week later to ask if the item had been dispatched and for a tracking reference or further information. Received no reply to my email dispite an auto response to say they would respond in 24 hours. Emailed again five days later. Still no response. Will cancel the order with my bank.
Update: order arrived 6 weeks after it was placed so do not go by the delivery guidelines on the website. I never did receive a response to my previous queries regarding my order.
The product was a gift for my niece which I did not end up given her as it did not arrive in time and had to find an alternative therefore I can’t comment on the actual product itself. (Updating review because Fruppys emailed me and requested I reconsider my review.)
Eventually received it
It took longer than the delivery time stated but eventually received the parcel. Just need to start it.
Poor customer service
Contacted the company on several occasions to report a missing part from the penguin kit. Eventually got a response saying my email ended up in their junk folder. Responded to say I still need the part, again they apologised for the delay as my email ended up in junk folder. Chased again but still haven't received missing part so the kit is useless unless I want a penguin with one eye.
