We operate our own Materials Recycling Facility handling all commercial waste from Card, Plastic, Food, Glass, Paper, Metal, Wood and much more! As a carbon conscious waste management company, the environment is at the heart of everything we do. We encourage our customers to segregate at source and reward those efforts with reduced costs. I have worked with Fresh Start for 10…

I have worked with Fresh Start for 10 years now, who service many of our clients’ wheelie bins. The service we receive is consistently excellent, and they always go above and beyond to provide competitive pricing and outstanding customer service. Colin Harvey, who manages our account, is fantastic at what he does, and the rest of the team are equally great in handling our day-to-day enquiries. I would highly recommend this company.

Terrible service and will never advise anyone to use this company

Terrible service. Ordered two skips and paid for it and they delivered more than two weeks of order although they kept on promising to deliver the same day or the following day.

They also have very dysfunctional service.

Good service overall

Good service overall.
Service for collection of bins is fine no problems, however you could improve your communication with customers, it took a lot of chasing over approximately a 2 week period to speak to someone once we had signed the initial contract.

been with this company over 2 years and…

been with this company over 2 years and currently trying to cancel. we have had endless issues with miss deliveries . access issues and now to taking money from your account with no no invoice and no authorisation to take any extra payments. apparently we get credits on our account but no idea where they go as the payments are the same each month and when you question these you just get told you received a credit so don’t actually see the money.

i would avoid this company…

Avoid at all cost

If you are looking for a waste company these guys are not the one for your business or organisation! Been with them for more than 1 year and had so many problems with them collecting my bin on a weekly, I always get the email of “ Due to an operational issue” once or twice in a while I understand but not 2 weeks in a row! I have a convenience store and I go through a lot of cardboard and plastic on weekly.

1. Because they missed 1 week collection so the bin is full now. So rang customer services and they advised to leave it on the side of the bin and driver will collect extra waste. Come the “rescheduled day” they didn’t pick up the rubbish on the side of the bin.

2. Don’t help with money knocked off your bill for the inconvenience.

Awful company to work for

Awful company to work for, no management whatsoever, office haven't a clue what they're doing. Can't get or keep drivers as their reputation is embarrassing. Sam in transport has more faces than a Halloween shop. Not until you leave you see how bad it really is. Biffa are so much more professional. Avoid working for fresh start at all costs!

collections just stopped UPDATED

collections just stopped, we were waiting for a new contract?
as an update we got there in the end!! although the 'new' bins were not 'new' but i am sure that will get sorted!

The temporary pause was due to the need to put a new agreement in place following legislative changes affecting the waste industry across England. As soon as that was resolved, we ensured that all your waste streams were successfully emptied. This service was completed on the 22nd June.
