Waiting for a month for my analogue photos, still nothing back

I have sent out my analogue photo roll on 4th of January. More than a week later, on the 13th of January, the photos arrived at the location they develop the photos. Now, again 16 working days later, no e-mail yet that they have been sent back to me. Contacted customer service and they have no update for me, only that I should be patient.. I hope they are not lost

NEVER USE HEMA PHOTO SERVICE !!!

Hema's internal processes are broken. DO NOT EVER USE HEMA FOR ANY PHOTO RELATED WORK !!!!

1) Hema outsources the photo development to a 3rd party. Unfortunately HEMA is not effectively able to manage and monitor the performance of thtat 3rd party.

2) Losing track of physical roll of film, unable to locate the item either at the developer, HEma HQ or the branch store.

3) emails stating that the item is in the store are FALSE, and staff in the store is unable to assist or even understand HEMA's internal processes.

4) Customer service is pretty useless, they say things like: let me put you on hold i look for you photos. 15 minutes later the customer service rep says: oh, i need your order number... So it is clear that customer service is just gaming the customer and their own boss... wasting time pretending to provide service.

5) Your photos you give to HEMA can easily end up in the wrong hands, HEMA does not have a reliable tracking system in place, and loses negatives..

Overall, i suggest to anyone who doesn't want their photos lost, DO NOT USE HEMA photo service

Don't print at HEMA

I ordered a t-shirt with picture on it. When I went to pick it up I was shocked by the bad quality of the product, and the picture was printed upside down. Luckily I had the proof of my order on my profile on their website, so I could show it to the worker and get my money back. Don't print at HEMA.

The service is slow and inefficient

The service is slow and inefficient. I placed an order through the HEMA photo ordering service. After 6 days I received a notification that the photos can be collected the next day. After waiting in the queue for 30min the assistant informed me the photos aren't there yet despite the email stating they are. When I asked if I will be notified, they explained that the email was the only notification and should call to find out. The following day, I called the store twice with no answer. I went to the store a second time and after another 30minute queue wait, I was again informed that they are not yet there and I should call to find out regardless of the email confirming they are ready.
Still hoping to collect my order if I am able to correctly guess when they will be at the store.

Update: tried to contact as requested in the response to my review. Emailed the email address in the profile on trustpilot. Received an error “mailbox not found”.

High-quality printing

High-quality printing, nice idea for decorating your apartment walls with your own phottos and memorable pictures of your family. also a cool gift idea. I was recommended HEMA service by a friend.

Developing film roll

This was my first time developing a film roll in the netherlands. Very slow service - had to wait almost 4 full weeks to get my photos printed just to get them in very bad quality, the printed photos are zoomed in, which makes them way worse and not all of the photos are printed. Now i’ll have to wait for one more week to get digitalised version, i hope these pictures won’t be zoomed in… Definitely won’t be developing my film roll with hema next time. I have developed a lot of film rolls and this is the worst service i have ever received. A good thing - client service replied to me very fast.

The website claims to have the pictures ready within 6 to 8 working days, but I waited 13 working days before they were ready for pickup.

Disappointed with softwate and quality of final product

The software is very hard to work with. You can't copy and paste and other basic functionalities. Not user friendly. Very basic. In the past was beter and easier.
Also the quality of the print isn't great. And I don't like at all the cheap/thin plastic cover of the books. Also in the past (have created many photo books with the hema in the past) was also much nicer.

All pictures are gone

I brought a disposable camera from a trip to develop. There were a lot of memories in the camera. After more than a month of waiting, they sent me an email that the camera had accidentally been destroyed before developing it due to someone not scanning it when it got there. All the memories gone. Do not recommend it at all.
