I would never, ever use Morgan and Morgan again. I was in a car accident in September 2022. When I signed up, I was told the fee was 33%; I thought this was high but worth it. However, I later discovered that this 33% only applies to the first offer the insurance company makes. Then it jumps to 40%. This was a detail buried in the fine print that I missed, leaving me feeling misled and disappointed.
They 'lost' my file for three months. Then, I was given a paralegal (?) who told me so many different stories I had no idea what to believe. In total, I was bounced to three or four different lawyers, each time having to start over and explain my case from scratch. This simple case dragged on for over two years, causing me immense frustration and inconvenience. When the settlement was finalized, it took several months before I received my money. The insurance company paid them immediately. I knew that both the man who hit me and I had the same insurance companies, and I saw when the payout occurred.
I had to pester them for weeks. When I got the first payout statement, they shorted me about $10,000. I called several times and finally got that fixed. They would not make a direct deposit even though they say they do that in commercials so I had to drive to their office to pick up the check. They held back an additional $1,000 and explained that it was to cover any additional medical bills and that I would automatically receive it in a month. I waited six weeks and called them. Several times. They even promised to send the check to the Melbourne office overnight. That did not happen. It took me several more weeks to finally get the check from them, leaving me feeling ignored and disrespected.
They did not pay all my medical bills even though they insisted several times that they had. In fact, I received a document from them detailing what was paid, and this list included the unpaid bills. When I started getting letters from collection firms for these unpaid bills, I was furious. Just for grins and giggles, I checked my account today with my PCP and found they had not paid him for medical records, but they indeed charged me for them.
Do not waste your time or money. Morgan and Morgan do not communicate effectively; they switch you around with different lawyers, and you have to start all over. They hold onto your money with a tight fist, leaving you in the dark about the progress of your case and the status of your payments.

DO NOT HIRE MORGAN & MORGAN. I was a client who had what I thought was a pretty straightforward case. I was broadsided by a PU truck and there was no dispute about who was at fault. The driver said he didn’t see us and accepted full responsibility. I hired M&M to represent me and that was a huge mistake. It took endless calls, texts and emails to get anyone “on my team” to respond to me, give me updates, etc. While I was getting my medical treatments no one ever checked on, the ONLY time I ever heard from someone was when I initiated contact and only then after days and somethings weeks of trying. I too would find my “team” had changed w/o ever being told.
Finally, after 18 months of nothing, they realized there were no long term treatments required for my ailments, and no huge payout, they decided they had no use for me. To make matters worse there are new tort laws here in Florida that require a suit to be filed within 24 months. They left me holding the bag with no qualms about it. They have great advertisements, but the only people they are FOR is themselves.

I really thought Morgan and Morgan would be a great law group to work with, boy was I WRONG. I’m ok with the fact that they decided to not move forward with my case but what I’m NOT ok with is that it took 6 weeks (12/3/24) before the attorney called to tell me that. She asked if I wanted another attorney from their inventory to assist me, I told her yes. She said someone would contact me in 2 weeks. Today is 1 month and I still haven’t heard from anyone! Thanks for NOTHING Morgan & Morgan.

very bad law firm. my advice is go elsewhere. they agreed to represent my wife in phillips c pap breathing machine lawsuit. this was in october 11th 2022. they had a very nice legal rep take all information before it was sent to attorneys. I sent them records of over 15 hospitals and more than 2 million dollars of costs. I never got one call from attorney.my wife passed away this past oct. and was told that we would still proceed as long as I was her legal rep. this firm finally sent me a short letter that said they no longer wanted to go forward without explanation. they said I still had a case and to contact another law firm soon before time runs out. well, they waited too long to tell me that. this firm hires small legal firms and farms them out and split the profits. I found that this is common for them. you think that your actually dealing with a large law firm but, your not they really have false advertising. the rep that took all the information thought we had a very good case. again, stay clear of this law firm. Ron Crawford this is in Tennesee not Oregon

If I could give zero stars I would. They handled 1 case of mine and were supposed to handle another. One case the attorney would not even speak with me and nothing was done on my case and I was smart with his one, I went to another law firm and won my case immediately. I was pissed when they gave a percentage of it to Morgan and Morgan when they did nothing. Their attorney never looked into that case. Another case I had at the same time the attorney I had was horrible. She refused to allow me to see certain doctors in which one I knew and he wanted to help me and provide me with he needed surgeries I should of had so I would not be disabled today like I am. Then when it came to the trial, I did not want to settle because of all the pain and health issues I had. The lawyer Rachael Smith I think was her name was joking with the mediator the entire time because she knew him personally. Then she pressured me into settling when I did not want to. She also lied to me the night before about the amount of money she claimed I would definitely get in my case which when it was in the hearing, they did not offer anywhere near what I was told. So, as a result, I am left in chronic pain, was unable to get the surgeries I needed to live a semi normal life and have since gone homeless since I am unable to work anymore. Living in my car is not the life I thought I would have. I also tried to reach John Morgan and left messages for him and even sent a few letters but no response. This law firm does not care about your well being. They just want to end a case as fast as possible. I truly regret going with this law firm and should have sought another for my main case they handled. Then my brother unfortunately chose them for his case. They closed it doing nothing for him and he is left in severe pain with health issues . If you value your life , DO NOT CHOOSE THIS LAW FIRM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Law i have ever delt with. I took almost 2 years them settle a simple cast, between lost files, ignored calls and plain out and out miss representation. Beware of the bait and switch you will be paying 40% not 33% no matter what they say. Their slogan should be Morgan and Morgan for Morgan and Morgan they are defiantly NOT for the People. Believe the reviews, not to be trusted
Update - I requested my files to be reviewed by another firm and my attorney at M&M Zak O'Neill has not responded to my request. If you have a solid case do yourself a favor and stay away M&M they don't care about all they care about how much money they can steal from you. Stay tuned I will give updates as things progress.

They did absolutely nothing except make a few phone calls and send a few texts . I was rear ended and the other driver took off and I found them myself. These people call them selves good lawyers. I did a better job myself. Definitely don’t use these people. All hacks

They called me back this AM for the first time...they never were going to help me, they should have simply ignored me then instead of letting me get hopeful only to tell me they didn't care. Whenever I hear the "MA'AM" epithet someone is hurting me or pushing me away and they (actually "she", some secretary there) said it about 5 times before telling me to take a hike. They don't need anyone's business, most high powered law firms are like that, but the CRASSNESS is so shocking. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!! PS: And after reading the company's reply I stand my ground.

Came to them for help I fell in the American dream Mall in East Rutherford New Jersey over a stone they cemented to the floor I guess for kids to sit on when you have lots of people in front of you and you look off to the side all of a sudden the people part around it but you're not looking down in front of you at that second you trip over it there's nothing to grab I dislocated my shoulder I went to the Hackensack Hospital they gave me Fentanyl twice ketamine a hallucinogenic drug without telling me for a dislocated shoulder I still have the after effects 6 days later yesterday was the first day I could eat and keep it down I still have After Effects like flashbacks or something. Why would they allow this drug to be used on people it's still has a serious side effect that doesn't seem to subsided and Morgan & Morgan doesn't find my case interesting enough to fight I guess it's small potatoes I ain't worth enough money they should take that commercial off they put while you're on hold it's bull crap

Let me start by saying even a 1 rating for this company is being too generous. But there isn't a way to rate 0.
In all honesty I don't have any other experience with this type of personal injury, so I have to base this assessment on. A close friend of mine recommended that I try Morgan & Morgan, probably because of their television ads.
My case started over a year ago. The first request for compensation was $500,000.00 dollars. Which, even I didn't expect to receive but I was hoping at least for a fair settlement. I was really being overly optimistic. Finally, after many months I was told by my attorney, that I was offered $12,500.00 and I should accept that as we didn't "have a leg to stand on". Well, after accepting that as final, once the attorneys fees and my medical bills were paid off, I was left with a settlement of $1000.00k, for which I really don't ever expect to receive.
This was a lot of bells and whistles with absolutely no bang at all. I think there is a definite reason why this law firm has received all of these negative reviews. This whole experience was a complete waste of my time. I feel it was for nothing and actually probably has hurt more than helped me.
Another thing I feel I should mention is that there were so many contradictions that I got from the team.
One being that they were waiting for the final result from my insurance company, which really wasn't accurate at all. I had received a letter from Medicare stating that my case was already closed. The letter was received about a week before Morgan & Morgan case me their version.
In all honesty I would never recommend this law firm to anyone. Look for a real law firm. Also, I was receiving emails talking about all of the successful lawsuits my attorney was receiving. Do yourself a favor, avoid this law firm at all costs. Go to someone that actually has your interest at heart.
Waste of time to hire Morgan and Morgan to represent me. Still have not received the meagre amount that was allotted to me. Not surprised.

Morgan a suggestion may you please make adjustments to your new client set up as I attempted to set up a consultation and was directed by receptionist to do it by phone, which I denied considering the case would be against (county/government) and we all know they have the capabilities and some to tap tap tap in and listen as they please!

Where to begin. It all started when I called the Philadelphia office. The first person I spoke with "acted" as if he cared about my injury. I was then assigned to an attorney and a case manager. The attorney emailed me requesting any information I can give about the accident, including doctors, etc. I responded to his email with some trepidation. Was not sure I wanted to open the suit. The lawyer didn't respond for a day or two and I sent him another in the evening and he called me. We spoke at length and I said I didn't know how it happened. I couldn't be 100% sure how I fell. He immediately said that we would lose the case if I responded that I didn't know how it happened, during the deposition. I asked him to let me think about whether or not I wanted to proceed and emailed the lawyer a couple days later that I didn't think I wanted to proceed. He called me right away and told me he thought I had a very good case when I told him I couldn't be 100% sure how it happened but was pretty confident that there was something on that step that made me trip and fall over. Fast forward to a week later when I received a "certified" letter from another attorney in the Philadelphia office. The letter was typed by her case manager. This attorney proceeded to say in the letter that her c.m. had tried to reach me before and that if they didn't hear from me within 10 days, they would close the case. First of all, he never left me a voicemail or texted me in the past. Secondly, I thought the first attorney was still my attorney. The letter had more mistakes than a two-year-old typing a letter. The letter looked like it was from a copy machine and it was never delivered certified mail, just regular mailbox mail. My address was incorrect at the top and the salutation said "Dear Mr Anthony". Who is Mr Anthony??? The new lawyer's last name at the sign off was also misspelled with two t's. This letter was a huge red flag. First, I left voicemails for both of them, explaining the very unprofessional letter. The c.m. called me the following day and started grilling me as if I was a criminal. Not cool! He said he would be in touch with me with an update then sent me an email requesting any information, such as medical, to help the case. After I told him about all the mistakes in the letter, instead of apologizing and saying they would try to rectify the situation, he didn't even care. Another huge red flag. So at this point I thought the case was already moving forward after the first lawyer said I have a good case. But no! The second attorney called me today to inform me they would not be moving forward with my case. Very cold treatment. I asked why and all she would say is text found it to be too much of a liability but didn't explain what she meant by that. Then she had the audacity to ask if I would like referrals to other attorneys. I said no thank you and that I was considering dropping the case with them anyway as evidenced by the unprofessional letter I received in the mail. So no, you did not meet my expectations. In fact you get a big fat F. I'll also be posting scathing reviews on other websites. Get rid of those ridiculous commercials because they're all lies. Your firm doesn't care one iota about the people that call for help.

We had a serious debilitating fall. The business where it occurred spent over $100,000 fixing it right after the incident. Two years later after numerous attorney changes “in a nutshell “ the final compensation came to a pathetic $ 700.00. Do not listen to the barrage of ads shoved into our faces on a daily basis- they really don’t care about you or the anguish that are going through. In all approximately 6 phone calls were received in the two years and 50% were to notify us that the attorney left the company.

Was told I was assigned to an attorney and they were taking my work comp case for a neck injury. Never even got to speak to the attorney. Was called by a very rude woman who got details about the case that I had already answered twice on a questionnaire sent twice to me and gave the same details to the lady that initially called me. I received a text stating they were happy to have me as a client.
They had me sign contracts and release for my medical records before she called for the same details. Coincidentally, I had already signed these documents after the initial call. Told me they would call me back in a couple of days. Waited a week and the only communication from them was the text stating they were happy to have me as a client. I have received a few texts and emails with a survey asking " tell us how we did". They hadn't done anything yet.
I called to try to find out my status on the case and had to make an appointment for a "phone call". The day I was supposed to get the phone call, I received an email instead stating they had decided to decline the case. Very sketchy and in my opinion, unethical practices. Should have reviewed my case to begin with before telling me you were representing me.

3 years ago my daughter was driving with my teenage son in the car. They were hit from behind and then again from the side by an unlicensed uninsured driver. He was coming down an off-ramp and hit them, three other vehicles and then hit my children again pinning them up against the guardrail. They saw a chiropractor for a while, and both were already seeing a mental health specialist but had had to add mental anguish and distress from the car accident. They were both afraid to get in a vehicle for a long time. My daughter didn't drive again for about a year and a half. Morgan and Morgan offered to take the case, gave us a case number, Etc. But then they stopped replying to the emails, avoided our phone calls, and never gave us a physical address to find them. There is no reason we should have to drive from where we live all the way into Philadelphia to find a main office as we've now figured out where it is!!! It's been over 3 years and it's too long to do anything about it now. Horrible customer service, horrible attorneys, I wouldn't trust them with anything! Steer clear of this company if you ever expect to have anything real happen with your case unless they are expected to get millions from you. They are a sham and a bunch of ambulance chasers. Despicable!

...12 years later... I contacted Morgan and Morgan in October 2012, just weeks after my spinal surgery. The surgery caused nerve damage in my left leg. AND 2 more surgeries occured within 10 days to determine the cause of the nerve damage. I was infirmed, by my physician, the one performing the surgery, that he 'accidentally ' snipped my lower bowel, during the surgery, but it was repaired. (?? TILL THIS DAY, nearly 12 yrs later, is STILL giving me much pain and discomfort. I have been relying on opioid pain medication since my surgery. Morgan and Morgan asked me to "call back in a month", so I did and was told 'we're not accepting any new clients at this time". REALLY?? It was BS. I believe my case would either involve TOO much litigation, or wasn't severe enough, or no loss of limb or life was involved, indicating to me, my case WOULDN'T HAVE made them the $$ they desired!! Well IM SORRY I couldn't help you become RICH with my case. And a previous account of YOUR interaction with a prospective client who stated,in essence, ' THEYRE ONLY in it for claims that will bring in HIGHEST percentage, and those cases which are 'easy'. I DONT CALL THIS 'for the people'! They could have AT LEAST, been HONEST with me, and said 'were SORRY but cannot take your case', but NO, I never heard from them again. Meanwhile, I LIVE with the memories of the pain of my injury, the fear of the effects of my opioid usage, AND the negligence, and GREED of Morgan and Morgan. SURE they're HUGE, now, but at their negligence to assist folks like me. THANKS 'FOR THE PEOPLE'! THANKS!!
