A complete scam
A complete scam. Its a shame you have to give a star to write a review. Totally unethical.
My order never arrived
My order never arrived. First, I received an email saying the order had left Wuhan, and I already thought, "What a terrible site, another dumb dropshipper." After contacting the seller because I didn't receive my order within the promised timeframe, I got a typical ChatGPT-style email saying they were working on it. Now, when I try to check the status again, they're completely offline. Do not buy from here, this is a scam!
Order never arrived
Order never arrived. tracking details disappeared, absolute scammers.
I got Scammed by footboxes
I got Scammed by footboxes. I wanted to order one time but then I had to pay twice somehow. They send my two Maik’s with a different order number. That means that claim that I ordered twice. I read somewhere that I am now having a Subscription on their stuff while I didn’t want that. The site is down and I can’t find anything to contact them except for responding their mail.
Footbox scammed my elderly mother out…
Footbox scammed my elderly mother out of over £550. I took them to court and we eventually got her money back, they claimed we “must have clicked a link” on you tube and subscribed to them. Which was not true. If you’ve had trouble with this company please feel free to message me and I will explain the process and how to get your money back.
SCAM!!!!!!
Scam!!!! Never even heard of footbox until my mobile phone bill was £20 higher every month for three months. Apparently they’re a football watching service and we don’t even follow football at all!!! Total SCAM! Should be illegal to take money like this.
EMAIL JUST RECEIVED FROM FOOTBOX TV
THESE PEOPLE TOOK £560 FROM ME ILLEGALLY .
VODAFONE EVEN AGREED THAT THEY DID .
VODAFONE ARE A BETTER COMPANY AS THEY GAVE ME A £80 REFUND .
FOOTBOX HAVE OFFERED ME £16 REFUND.
THE NAME FOOTBOX TV IS MUD , STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.
Scam scam scam scam scam total scam!
Scam scam scam! Didn't sign up for anything. Didn't have a clue about them, never even HEARD of footbox! Thought it was one of those dumb marketing texts, nope! turns out i'm the dumb one!😡
The worst network in the world (3UK of course) opted me in somehow, it's only come to light since I stopped using add-ons & just put a few quid on for calls as I don't need 3's pathetic mobile data anymore! Why the hell would I sub to something about football??? Cant stand the pointless game anyway!
Sounds as though the mobile companies are possibly almost as guilty as Footbox for scamming us, but definitely get this rubbish OFF your phone ASAP! I had to send a 'stop footbox' text to 65404 to unsub, but IDK if that works for all networks.
Now I'm off to publicly rip 3uk another a$$hole on their social media pages. (They don't much like getting publicly dragged) It may mean abandoning my mobile number and moving to a new provider to totally solve the issue though. I'm a little peeved I have to give even 1star. Trustpilot needs to give us the option of bein able to give minus stars!
Another Scam company
Another Scam company. Please see my comments around PMConnect. If you have been duped by this company please contact the PS Authority and OFCOM.
Hopefully they can help you.
Criminal scam charging 16 GBP per month…
Criminal scam charging 16 GBP per month for naive Vodafone users who do not check their bill. Vodafone is of course complacent and Vodafone CEO should also be in prison.
It took me a while to block them and…
It took me a while to block them and I’ve worked out how the scam works.
In order to subscribe you give them your PIN number and phone number.
No-one would choose to subscribe to this pointless service and give this info, but you don’t need to.
If they have your phone number and you haven’t enabled the PIN number on your phones SIM then it defaults to a number anyone can guess. Usually it’s 1111.
So all they have to do is select random phone numbers and use the default pin to rack up £4 a week.
So enable your SIM pin today and they won’t be able to charge you anymore.
I still get their txts but no more unexpected £4 withdrawals
Very unhappy
Can anyone tell us who we should complain to about this scam company??? Is it ofcom or our service provider? My daughter is a special needs student and has been having £4.00 pw deducted via her 02 bill since May 2019. We don't know who to complain to.....as others have said Footbox have offered her £16.00 which is tantamount to admitting that it is fraud but we don't know where to go next. I'm devastated that they have taken advantage of her when we are trying to encourage her independence. Footbox you should be ashamed of yourselves. Absolutely soul destroying when we are a hard working family trying our best to make ends meet.
I only realised today after looking at…
I only realised today after looking at my mobile phone bill that I have been charged extra £16 per month.. when I contacted Vodafone, customer service advisor was helpful and told me thatIhave been paying fora company called Footbos.Tv.. I have never subscribed for anything like this..and gave me the contact details of this company. When I called Footbox.TV ...spoken to person call Vicki and I have told her that I never subscribed to this, she told me that she is not authorised to give my refund and told gave me to email their head office.!!...for refund. The ofcom need to do something about this kind of bogus companies.
Ask your mobile provider to block Footbox,tv
I receive a text from Footbox.tv a couple of times a year. When I first got one I panicked and called 3 mobile who confirmed nothing had been charged to my account and then put a block or something similar in place to ensure this company could never charge my mobile account. I suggest everyone does the same. I now just delete the messages as replying will charge you, as has previously been stated. Every now and then I call 3 mobile to check and there has never been any charges. Hope this helps.
Don’t be scared of this company
Don’t be scared of this company. Footbox is run by James Macfarlane at P. M. Connect in Birmingham. I lost £196 over a year which I assumed were ‘Three’ charges for exceeding my data allowance. I assume all the mobile phone companies profit from this or they would put a stop to it. Like everyone else, I never played games, or signed up to or clicked on anything. Just deleted texts as soon as they appeared. Nothing but common thieves. They will offer a month’s refund and then six months which is tantamount to an admission that they shouldn’t have had the money in the first place. Just keep sending them polite texts demanding a full refund and threatening them with the Small Claims Court, and they will back down. Took two weeks to recover money via the post office. Let’s all put James Macfarlane and his company back in the gutter where they belong.
Legal scam
Legal scam. Beware. Do not click on any messages sent from 65404. They will charge up to £20 a month forever. Even costs £4 to text them to stop. Incredible that this is legal.
Footbox is a Fraud - Report to Ofcom immediately
Beware of this automatic subscription service from landing on a link from youtube or .
Footbox TV & Demon Games are the same company.
Start checking your phone bill regularly especially if you are with vodafone.
Mobile phone companies will simply blame the user and the the other company giving the subscription and not take any responsibility whatsoever.
Call 0333 313 5013 they can cancel the subscription as they said and they said they would be happy to send the details via email of how the subscription started so at least the customer service is better than vodafone customer service who say they can do anything.
Then contact your mobile service provider and ofcom and demand justice from the one you trusted your mobile network provider!!!
Vodafone you know this is a scam so why haven't you clamped down on it? You could improve your customer service vodafone, i moaned to these guys and they listened and acted unlike vodafone managers. The answer is money money money !!!
Time to leave vodafone for being complicit.
Someone is getting very rich from this…
Someone is getting very rich from this fraud. Every month I get charged £16 a week for footbox TV I'm not even in to football. Vodafone seem unwilling to help me saying I must have subscribed somehow. This is a cop out as I never subscribed. Looks like the only way to stop it is to cancel vodafone and that's almost impossible.
My son never signed up for this
My son never signed up for this. We got charged £4 per week. He unsubscribed and they still charged me. I have no idea who to complain to or how to get a refund. His mobile phone company 3 were unsympathetic. Total scam. Avoid this company if at all possible.
