No ownership for their mistakes, terrible communication.

Had a repair after somebody drove into the side of my vehicle. The car door, wing and wing mirror needed repair, and they replaced the wing mirror.

Noticed afterwards that the blind spot indicator did not work, so arranged to come back. After having the car for a day they said that it wasn't them. (It worked before the incident, so to me doesn't matter if it was them or was something they should have repaired IMO). ,

They were literally shutting up as I left, but realised that now the blindspot indicator doesnt work at all on either side, and new warning lights showing on dash. Including for lane departure. I called their customer services, and had to chase for over two weeks for ANY kind of answer, without a single call back (despite promises every time).
Finally I have an email saying that they tried to recalibrate 3 times, but they don't have any record of what the error codes were.

That doesn't explain why they broke the vehicle further. I would never chose to use this outfit, highly unprofessional, and take no responsibility for having made the car worse. I expect they forgot to reconnect the system after the last test.

I highly recommend avoiding this garage, and the FMG group at all.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Car has been in for nearly a month, lied to week after week as to completion times. Checked with insurance company after another flakey call and transpires authorisation only given last week to do the work - this is subsequent to four calls advising car nearly finished. Not sure why they just cannot tell the truth

My car was taken too the work shop in…

My car was taken too the work shop in lakeside, too fix a very deep knife mark that went all the way from the front side all the way too the back. They kept me upto date on the progress of the repair. I went through my insurance company as I have a mobility car the courtesy car was very nice and im extremely happy with the work carried out. I would highly recommend this company. Not only professional but are fairly priced.

Suzuku vitara

From the begining to the end FMG repair services were excellent. The customer service lady on the phone was helpfull and polite, as well as people who collected and brought my car back to me. They rang me each time to let me know they are coming. They've repaired my car very quickly, just over one week. I can't fault them in anything. I would highly recommend them.

Well done team FMG in Govan

The team at FMG in Govan are to be congratulated for their excellent service, from the recovery drivers to Jack and the young ladies I spoke with on reception they have been professional, kind and courteous. They are a credit to FMG. Repairs well done too, my car looks like new.

Awful leicester branch

Terrible they replaced a damaged wheel on my beautiful a3 quattro as part of the repairs process that didn't match the existing ones I complained but the manager couldn't care less I had to sign the job off as I needed the vehicle for work they didn't even bother to valet the vehicle

This is the leicester branch the hinckley branch repaired my wife's audi a4 and that was perfect

Repair to the site of my van ,new sliding door and repair to bodywork,exceptional work,cleaned and buffed the whole van looks like new

FMG repair service

The process has been a straight forward experience, I was called to arrange a date to have my car picked up and a courtesy car was left for my use.I was informed that my car may be away for up to 18 days, during the time the car was away I was regularly called to inform me of progress.A date was organised for the cars return and on arrival it was immaculate, I am extremely satisfied with the service I received the receptionist I spoke to was lovely and the man who brought the car was very kind , professional and helpful.

Dundee branch- Great service and repair

Car went in for a large body repair and was returned 10 days later which is very quick considering and the repair was excellent. We were also given a courtesy car while repairs were being done. Would use again. The staff were friendly and accommodating while we waited on the car being returned.

Zero communication and no accountability.

I would not even give FMG Repair Services one star if there were another option.
The core problem is their complete failure to communicate.
You are left chasing constantly for updates that never come. Calls are not returned. Emails go unanswered. When you do eventually get through, you are given vague or inconsistent information, with no clear timeline or ownership of the case.
There is no proactive contact at any stage. You are not kept informed of progress, delays, or next steps. Instead, you are left in the dark and forced to do all the follow-up yourself.
This has been ongoing for months. A process that should be straightforward has been dragged out purely because of their lack of communication and organisation.
It shows a clear lack of basic customer care and accountability.
Avoid at all costs.

FMG Hull is excellent in every way

We recently had our MG repaired at the Hull branch and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results and the quality of the work. The staff were extremely helpful and kept us informed about the work every step of the way. We can’t praise them enough, and the courtesy car they supplied was excellent too.
