In all honesty I didn't think I'd be…

In all honesty I didn't think I'd be giving a 5star review ( for a couple of reasons ).
My car was taken to FMG repair services in Hull by way of my insurance company.
A little misunderstanding on my part meant the repairs didn't start untill after a week had passed.
After FMG started work on my car I received a text telling me what was going to happen , followed afew days later by another telling me the parts needed had been ordered but no delivery date had been given for the parts. I received similar texts each week untill the parts arrived. Then a different text saying they had to order 3 extra parts before repairs could be done.
Back to square one - a similar text each week untill 3 weeks later when ( on a Tuesday ) I got a text saying every part was at FMG's & work could be undertaken.
Friday I received a phone call telling me my car repairs were complete.
When I picked the car up the waiting was forgotten about. It was immaculate . both inside & out. You couldn't tell the vehicle had been crashed. Everything was perfect - i checked it over & could not find 1 thing to pick fault with. Inside had been valeted & had that new car smell & feel. Outside the same - all the damage had been repaired & you couldn't tell any repairs had been done.
The car was fantastic again & i was extremely glad FMG did the repairs. The mechanics / painters / valeter & secretary had worked really well to give my car back in the best possible condition.

Inadequate company

If they would let me put no stars I certainly would!!
My car went in for repair on the 12th February for several scratches, they then informed me they had broke the camera after replacing the wing mirror on the 19th February which they didn't need to replace the wing mirror. It is now the 23rd March and my car is in Gloucester FMG with its front bumper off as nobody will authorise the repair of the camera. We have telephoned several times the complaints department and waiting on hold for hours at a time, we have been promised several calls back and nobody returns any calls. THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!
AND TESCO INSURANCE SHOULD NOT BE USING SUCH AN INADEQUATE COMPANY

As of yesterday Fmg bristol your service is amazing,glyn the manager and his colleague Lisa at the front desk I couldn’t of asked for any better.highly recommend,very helpful,very polite and was well worth a visit to get things in place to get my car fixed.Thank you both

I’m not usually a complainer but…

I’m not usually a complainer but thought I had a post a review about my recent experience at the Huddersfield branch.
The repair work was shoddy & incomplete & the customer service was awful. Cheap parts were used & the car came back dirty on the outside & inside, especially the drivers seat.
I’m now having to take the car to a main dealer for them to rectify the mess made by FMG & I have reported the garage to my insurance company, as they are an approved repairer for Admiral Insurance.

not even worth a star

not even worth a star. went through the 3rd party to get my motor fixed as it was not my fault in anyway of the accident. his insurance had contacted fmg to repair my bumper. fmg had fixed my bumper and returned my car with alot more damages and im now paying out 100s of pounds to get the damages fixed that this company has done to my car and having to go without a car for a very long period of time. no sorry, no nothing. keep having to go between fmg and zurich to try and get it resolved and sorted.

No Pride in their work very poor finish

The bear minimum was carried out by FMG, when the vehicle was returned there was a clear mismatch on the paintwork. When i complained I was told its a fairy old car and nothing we can do, we will check with insurance company to see what they say. 14 days later still no contact.
This is a company that has NO pride in there work, steer clear

We recently had our car repaired here…

We recently had our car repaired here after a crash and couldn’t be happier with the service. The team kept us informed throughout the whole process with great communication, which made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. They did an excellent job on the car — the quality of the repair is fantastic and everything was completed to a very high standard. Overall, the service was outstanding and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing vehicle repairs.

Bonus*** the car was cleaned inside and out!! Thank you Leamington Branch.

A F(antastic), M(agnificent), G(roup) !

Thanks to all at FMG Stourbridge branch for your excellent customer service in respect of a recent vehicle repair following a road traffic collision, resulting in an Insurance claim.
The quality of repair work undertaken on my vehicle was exceptional, along with the constant updates sent to me via text and phone highlighting every step of the repair process. The speed of which my vehicle was repaired was astonishing, given I anticipated at least 2-3 weeks down time, it was little over one week in the FMG workshop, until I received a call, advising that my vehicle was about to be delivered it back to me. I had no prior knowledge of FMG’s existence, until my unfortunate accident experience, however, I would now recommend their services to all. I have also made it known to my vehicle Insurers of my complete and total satisfaction of the work undertaken by FMG.
A shout-out for a key member of the staff there who I had the pleasure of engaging with on the day I delivered my vehicle to FMG Stourbridge. Sally Windsor was extremely friendly, understanding, thorough, knowledgeable and very professional in her assessment of the reinstatement task in hand, reassuring me that FMG would take great care and pride with the repair they were to undertake. She promised to keep me informed at each stage of the process and would endeavour to speak to the workshop, on my behalf to complete the job in good time. This, she carried out with absolute excellence, contacting me on numerous occasions thereafter with updates and positive news.
Sally, along with the entire team at FMG, helped ensure that my recent hit-and-run accident experience that left my vehicle severely damaged, was reinstated in the shortest amount of time and to the highest standard. This superb level of customer service and expertise is so very much appreciated. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in restoring my car to its former pristine condition. Your care, attention and professionalism in dealing with my vehicle restoration eased the pain and suffering of that unfortunate collision.

FMG Barnstaple were excellent, the updates on repairs were regular and the pick up and delivery of our car was great. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Jayne. Would recommend to anyone

I used the service in hull

I used the service in hull. It was really simple they came and collected my car and left a courtesy car the same day. They explained everything and the guy was so professional and nice. I was kept up to date on the status on my repair. At the end they returned my car valeted and still with a full tank. Great service definitely recommend.

Any delay was created by Tesco…

Any delay was created by Tesco Insurance getting confused regarding the incident and facts this delayed initially the repair costing but no blame on FMG Repair Services Gloucester. Once sorted I was contacted by Mark Isaac who informed me of the work they would undertake to ensure every thing was checked before and after the work was done. Mark gave me every confidence that my vehicle was good hands and the results have proven a first class professional repair has been achieved. I would also like to say the reception staff answering the phone were extremely efficient and polite. So even though I live 22 miles south of Gloucester and there was an option to have the repair done only 8 miles away I was pleased I didn’t change the repair centre allocated by Tesco.
