* Denied boarding Kyiv-Amsterdam flight due to false-positive express COVID-19 test (which was not required at destination - only 72hour one which we'd had and negative);
* Once we've got re-tested and negative express results - lady at a counter told us - you've been already crossed out from the flight - you won't board this one - go figure it out with the main office;
* No assistance whatsoever - no tickets for the next flight, no vouchers, nothing - carrier with no obligations;
* We are family of four (with 2 kids - 2,5 and 5,5 yo) had a 'wonderful' time (~5+ hours) trying to understand what to do next on our own - no one from this 'company' came with anything.
Disgusted at the service and poor…
Disgusted at the service and poor attitude of staff. We were supposed to fly from Georgia to UK yesterday, but were denied boarding as the UIA representative at the check in counter was adament that our UK skilled workers visa vignette in our passport was not enough to get into UK, the UK government website states otherwise. The staff member told us that we need a British Residency Permit card which one can only get once you are physically in the UK. The lack of knowledge and poor attitude to want to assist is truly disgusting. I will not recommend this airline at all. Disgusted!!
My credit card company was able to help
Sharing this with anyone having trouble getting your money back from FlyUIA. After not being able to get in touch, no reply for my cancellation form (ahead of time and due to covid restrictions) I simply called my credit card company and asked to cancel transaction (thanks to my friend who works in banking and told me to do it). It worked! The credit card company files dispute and then they try to get in touch with merchant. If merchant does not respond/answer (which they don’t, that we know already) credit card company tends to close the claim and issue refund. You are welcome :)

What a disgrace for Ukraine to have such an awful airline.
We couldn't even book our flights through the app because it wouldn't let us go through with the payment. Every time we went back to book it AGAIN the price went up by 100 pounds each time so in 15 min and 3 tries our price went up from 500 pounds to 800 pounds for the same dates.... Doesn't make sense at all.
Also, the website blocked us because from our IP address we tried too many times to look on the website the days before.
During times as covid it's only normal to check what your options are.
Obviously, we were tired and booked through another airlines.
Honestly, shame on you. I am a citizen of UA and can't even entry my OWN country because of you.
Rubbish company
Rubbish company. Firstly they don’t have customer helpline. I bought tickets before pandemic started and my flight was cancelled because of lockdown. They didn’t do the refund but they offered me exchange. I tried to exchange it now but when I enter ticket number, it says it doesn’t exist. It disappeared in system. I can’t even call anyone to find out what happened.
Very disappointed. Avoid flying with this airlines.

Conmen Air
I bought tickets on the 22nd.
They later emailed me and said I had to change the date of the flight because the flight was canceled. I was not happy, but understand this happens, so I changed to the 26th.
A couple weeks later, I look online and my original flight on the 22nd was still there and not canceled.
Assuming it had just been reinstated, I asked to switch back to the original flight that I booked and paid for.
The airline asked me to pay the $500 difference between the flight on the 26th and the 22nd to get back on the flight I already paid for and they made me change
Absolutely scam. Do not use this airline. There are so many other choices nowadays. Look at the reviews here and elsewhere. Trust those reviews. Don’t book here.

Ukraine International Airlines, pls everyone be very careful with this airlines i have booked 6 ticked with them to go to Cyprus from UK back in June 2019 to fly in April 2020 and due covid-19 it was cancelled in March 2020, i have booked it via GoToGate and they are useless as well for getting my money back. anyway after trying so many different way to get my money back. i have contacted Flight delay to get me compensation for the cancellation and delay but they only managed to get my refund but no compensation which means i will have to pay out fees to flight delay and that leaves me with less then my original money, this would be my last and final contact with FluUIA, pls there are so many other airlines who will provide good services if things go wrong. till today i have yet to receive my money 11/06/2021. but i checked with GotoGate website and they said they have received the money but not payed out yet, i will do separate review for GoToGate.
No way to contact the customer service
I bought a ticket which eligible for refund and because of not having my visa on time, I asked them to cancel the ticket and refund me five days before the departure. But no reply.
No refund giving back
. My flight was cancelled June 2020 and till now I can not get my money back plus no contact number to contact . As I purchased the ticket through travelup . And every time I contact them the answer is no respond from the air line
Charged for the free service
I was charged for the airport check in (15 euros) on April 15th, flight PS711 Kyiv-Istanbul despite having a confirmed registration for the flight and the assigned seat (25D). I made a screenshot after i checked in because they did not send me the boarding pass immediately after the registration completion. When I approached the registration desk at the airport, they told me that they cannot find my boarding pass and forced me to pay 15 euros despite i had the screenshot with my booking with the seat visible . Due to their buggy system I lost 15 euros for the registration i managed to complete in advance to avoid being charged . No one so far responded to my complaint in Facebook and on their website
Very poor customer service
They do not answer the emails.
Since we had to cancel our flights due to the covid 19 period last March 2020, and they provided us only the promo code valid with 1 year!!! However it supposed to be 2 years according to the info on their website!
It's been already 1 year, I am asking them to extend it, sending emails but they do not provide any answer or assistance.

Cancelled flights and don't reply emails
Cancelled our flights for 3 people with checkin in end of April 2021 and they don't provide refund or reply our emails. We just want to change the flights to another day that they have available.
Money lost :(
It's 1 year already while I'm waiting for a refund from UIA. I know at least few more people who also cannot get their money back because of cancelled flights during April-May 2020.
Worst of worst airline and scammers
I have used many different airlines since 1994. There are times you may have some bad experiences with some airlines from time to time. With FLYUIA, I had four different flights within the last 3 years and they have consistenly managed to be the worst of worst airline for many reasons;
1 - Their employees at different roles, e.g. from check in desk to flight attendant are mostly rude and uneducated and really disrespectful
2 - They rip you off with different strategies. For example, if you have a connecting flight, they let you fly with oversized (maybe 2 kg max) hand luggage and then at the second leg of your flight, they create problems to force you to pay ridiculous price for the overweight. If it is not allowed, why would they allow you to take your overweight hand luggage in the first place? What was the reason behind that? I could have sorted out my overweight hand luggage before my first flight started! This is scam 1
3 - My last booking was for 4 May 2020 and they had cancelled it on 25th Apr 2020. For the past 10 months, I regularly attempt to contact them via customer service call centre, email, "Get a refund" form (90 days waiting route but still no response at all), but no response in any form of contact method and no refund at all! This is scam 2
I am extremely surprised that how such an airline can get away with without refunding money that belongs to people and still continue to operate while they scam thousands of people. How can goverment let them continue and there isn't any legal action against them ??? The complaints are not limited to comments made on this site. I think, we, all victims, need to unite for legal actions to give this airline a good lesson so that none of any other airlines can attempt anything similar in the future.

The worst airlines ever, they cancel your flight and steal your money, no replies before 1-2 days, no calling centers, nothing... I highly DON'T recommend it even to my enemies!
The airline postponed the flight for an hour and did not offer options
The airline moved the flight back an hour and did not offer any options, even low-cost airlines offered to change the flight free of charge when the time changed by more than 10 minutes, and Turkish Airlines changes the flight when changing more than 15 minutes, if you plan to transfer, do not use this airline for any reason
Promised refund NEVER received!
Flight in May 2020 was cancelled due to Covid. Sent a request for a refund in summer and should have received it after 90 days. Email by UIA from November promised us a full refund by 31 December 2020. Still haven't received any refund! Absolute disgrace! Never using the airline again!
