The Worst Customer Service Experience I've EVER Experienced In My Life
I would recommend them to recheck their employees. Most of them have no idea how to communicate with their customers. The thing I have experienced in the airport, happened in December and it’s a long story, but after that incident I’ve promised myself never ever to use this airline. I’d rather pay a higher price for a different airline, than use this one that’s full of s**t.
NO refund for a CANCELED flight
My flight was canceled due to coronavirus.
First, Ukrainian neglected to send an email notifying me. I found out by chance. Why? Because "it's not our problem, the government canceled it". Wow, their own flight is not their problem. And why so rude to customers?
Second, they won't give a refund for a flight that didn't happen. Why? "It's not our fault, the government canceled it."
Anyway, NEVER USE this airline.
By the way, this is my second bad experience. The first was this: I paid the $50 international baggage fee. My bag arrived a week late. I asked them to at least refund the baggage fee. They sent me $15 over a year later after dozens of pages of paperwork. WTAF.

I would like to share my positive experience flying UIA KBP-JFK (crew: Dmitry, Stas, Dmitry, Irina and Irina). I travel in business class and the service provided by UIA along with the condition of the cabin, meals and entertainment selection was WAY above my expectations.. Delta and United are REALLY far from providing similar quality of service and often have dated business class cabins. Crew spoke excellent English, Russian and Ukrainian and was very accommodative and attentive and made the flight very comfortable. thank you!

absolutely disgusting airline.
staff were horrendously rude to a few other passengers who calmly questioned the delay in boarding.
delayed on tarmac for an hour in Cairo...stopped in turkey due to 'compression problem'...2 hours there.
Obviously missed our connecting flight to Gatwick.
Stuck in Kiev airport for 10 hours (meal turned up 2 hours later than staff said so 20 meals sat behind the counter cold for 4 hours as passengers didnt know it was there after turning up at 12
staff onboard were ridiculously rude and abrupt to all passengers which with hindsight was a nice reflection of the condition of the plane which was tatty at best.
i thought it was a hidden camera show at one point as i've never seen "customer service" like it with one stewardess abruptly saying "What?" after a customer pressed the button to request water.
im 16stone and 6ft tall and felt shy asking for a coke after the stewardess approached me with a 'ready-to-fight' look on her face.
Clearly hard as nails and not to be messed with.
Suffice to say even if the ticket from Gatwick to Cairo was £100 id never fly with them again and advise avoiding this airline like the plague. Hands down the worst airline iv ever flown with...including the African interior services.

Omg if there is an option of ZERO stars , we had a flight to Ukraine was delayed 6 hrs, no compensation was made , then they lost my baggage. All that I said ok can happen, at the way back home from Ukraine , I had two luggage’s one 24 kg other 14kg , both can enter 23kg but she was disrespectful at the front desk . After we got arranged she also send us at the back of the line again because there was a group of 15 people , and she said we had to wait. Another desk was open to drop luggage we were group of four, we went there so she gave tickets for first three passenger , when the fourth passenger’s turn arrived (she didn’t had any bags) she said that she needs to wait because it’s the other customer turn, refused to give us the boarding pass, she was saying : “you have to wait again before the red line, I want to do for the other passenger “ , but before that they wanted us to wait for group of 15! , she already started the procedure , I didn’t understand and refused to move . She start to scream and raised her voice but I was not moving ! Very disrespectful very reckless attitude, unfortunately if there was another airline from my country to Ukraine I would never choose this airline !!

Not Refunded for my paid selected Window seat and Broken Suitcase.
I had paid for selected Window seat from Toronto to Iran and checked in online with selected seat, at the airport they assigned me a seat at the middle aisle, when after several times complains they sent me a long letter justifying it instead of refunding the amount paid as part of the letter states:
UIA reserves the right to change the seat assigned in the process of online check-in for any reason or security and regulatory reasons.
In addition, I have also a damaged suitcase ($650.00) Canadian that they don't want to pay for it, I strongly suggest not to use this airline at all you will have a lot of issues.

Worst long-range flight of my life
Undoubtedly the worst long-range flight experience of my life. Was flying to Delhi. Had booked in September. At the end of October they send out an SMS claiming the return flight had been cancelled. Then, after we solicit via phone, they change their minds and say it was just postponed (24 HOURS LATER with a night to spend in Kiev, no suggestion whatsoever that we might get any refund for the night).
Then, at departure, the airplane supposed to leave from Kiev stops working (it scaringly shuts down entirely like no light and stuff) after boarding while on the runway. We disembark and have to wait for 6 hours at the Terminal.
While coming back from Delhi we find out, in Kiev, that the original flight from Kiev to Milano had not been cancelled at all. But by that time, they say there are no more seats available. I guess they must have had overbooked the flight.
Customer service both on the phone and IRL was inexistent, evasive and at times just plain rude.

Worst service I experienced so far
If somebody still thinks that Ryanair is bad you're wrong. Ukrainian International Airlines provide the worst service by far. The online booking crashes immediately once the traffic is a bit higher than usual and it takes then hours to fix it. The call center in the UK doesn't exist by the look of it. Dailed the cc number to hear that "I m first of line and it'll take 15sec for smb to reply" However nobody would answer even after 7 min of holding the line. Don't bother unless you have plenty of time to deal with this.

on March 27, 2019 i ordered 5 tickets, to me my wife and three my children from TLV to LWO (direct flight) for Feb 01, 2020 and back LWO to TLV on Feb 8, 2020
in this reservation i made mistake in Surname in all the tickets
on October 28, 2019 i informed by flyUIA that flight PS784 and tickets for both direction were canceled and flyUIA understand that these change affect our plans and this exactly what happened.
on November 3 2019 i have informed by flyUIA that i have two options
a) rebooking to the nearest possible flight with transaction in Kiev
b) full ticket refund
I choose to rebook to alternative flight although it includes transaction. In addition i have requested to send full passport details for all passengers (name, surname, date of birth, nationality, passport country of issue and number, expiry date for rebooking.
on same date for rebooking i sent correct and updated information by company request
on Nov 4 2019 i got new tickets but with same mistake although i have provided revised information for rebooking
from some reason flyUIA rebooked not according to my instruction and now flyUIA wants 500$ for all the changes (5 tickets)
After many mails to company that will change my family name at least as compensation of flight canceling i have a feeling that i am talking to a BOT. all flyUIA wants is money and they don’t care about your feeling or any good user experience. From their side flyUIA don’t care if you never fly with them again. They prefer money then loyal happy clients.

One of the worst airlines I have travelled with. Flight out here was awful with some of the rudest cabin crew I have ever met. The flight was massively delayed which effected our connecting flight. Luggage left behind by the airline and had to wait 3 days to be returned. One of the oldest and shabbiest planes I have been on, especially for a international flight. Complaint made and told will get back to me in 3 months. To make it even worst they have now just cancelled my return flight home, leaving me stranded in Thailand with no return flight. I booked my flight with gotogate and the airline have told me it’s basically not their problem and I have to deal with gotogate. Who have also said the same thing and told me the airline is responsible for any rebooking of flights or refunds. Worst company, do not book with them! I am now left with no return flight home and both companies refusing to help!

Really bad company not supporting at all the customers. My intercontinental flight has been cancelled twice... first time I had to reorganise the entire travel since the return date was different... now again another flight cancelled for the same reservation and the only solution offered is to wait 20hours in airport without any accomodation.. call center does not reply (waiting for more than 1hour and no-one answered).
