The driver leave us and out luggage is in the bus. So stupid that drive from Tilburg to Den Haag. He told us to wait outside. But when he leave he just close the door without even saying that we will go now. SO STUPID HIM. We run, we shouted. But nothing. Our luggage is gone.

first of all why i have to give Flix bus even one star , they dont even deserve one star, i booked my trip from Brussels to Amsterdam, i booked two seats for me at front because of my motion sickness, and paid extra money, before one day of my travel i received email from flix bus that they changed my seat , and there was no indication of two seats, i tried to contact flix bus but there is no way to contact them, same happened with me when i told the bus driver and staff , they refuse to listen to me and threaten to call the police, and driver was very rude. i sent message to refund y money they havent replied till now.
i will send them a legal notice, if they didnt refund me money and compensation. Flix bus is worst and i will never travel by flix bus again

About ten days ago I booked a…

About ten days ago I booked a ticket(FlixBus) from Nürnberg to Den Haag. Then suddenly two days before my trip they just sent an email says that the trip has been cancelled without even explaining why! They booked another ticket also without even asking me and discussing the situation! When I went to the bus station on the trip day I literally saw the same first trip! I tried to talk the chauffeur and showed him my QR code but he hasn't even listened to me and started to shout at me aggressively, then he called the FlixBus central to ask them, then they said that I don't have a booked ticket even though I have the confirmation of my ticket!

The driver dropped me off on the road with my luggage and I had a video of the bus.
Also both of them( the chauffeur and person from FlixBus central) they didn't know German and I couldn't really communicate with them in English. SO THE TRIP WAS NOT CANCELLED, THEY JUST CANCELLED MY TICKET!! The ticket that they booked me was horrible and it was the worst trip that I have ever been with! The chauffeur was very rude and aggressive! Also the first trip(the cancelled one) I booked the Panorama seat and they booked me in the second trip A NORMAL SEAT! It was the worst experience and from now on I would never buy tickets from FlixBus.

When they cancel a trip they don't…

When they cancel a trip they don't refund your return ticket. When I contacted them all they said was you need to cancel it yourself. We can do nothing for you. Cancel it yourself means getting half of the value of my trip as a voucher that I need to use with them again. Never using flixbus again!

Appalled customers

Appalled with the experience my partner and I had on our bus trip from Amsterdam to Zagreb on September 27th.

Firstly, upon arriving at the bus stop at 3.45am., we were uncertain whether we could purchase our tickets directly from the driver or if we should book them online in advance. When we approached the bus driver for clarification, he assured us that we could buy the tickets directly from him.

However, once everyone had boarded the bus, the driver attempted to book our tickets but encountered technical difficulties. To add to our inconvenience, he informed us that he had forgotten his invoicing booklet. Consequently, he suggested that we try to book the tickets ourselves. Given that it was now past the scheduled bus departure time, and we were unable to do so, he advised us to book from Rotterdam or The Hague rather than Amsterdam.

Following his instructions, my partner booked a ticket from Rotterdam to Zagreb separately, as advised by the driver. However, the driver claimed that it hadn't gone through. He then instructed he to try and book a ticket from the Hague to Zagreb instead but that too was unsuccessful. He then insisted that I should attempt to book the tickets to secure our place on the bus. I proceeded to book two more tickets as instructed from the Hague to Zagreb, which went through successfully.

Upon departure, we realized that the initial tickets my partner had booked had indeed been successfully processed, contrary to what the bus driver had told us.

This resulted in a double booking for our journey to Zagreb.
My partner promptly attempted to cancel the excess tickets and received vouchers in return. However, these vouchers are of little use to us as we are both relocating to Australia and will be unable to use them over the next year. Unfortunately, during the cancellation process, there was no option to request a cash refund and we didn't know that this was possible.

Given that these issues were primarily the result of the actions and instructions provided by the bus driver, we kindly request that the money would be refunded for the excess tickets back to my partner's account. However the customer service team said this wasn't possible as it doesn't constitute a double booking (as we booked the tickets separately and so they are not identical).

Additionally disturbing, the driver demanded 20 euros for one of our suitcases, alleging it exceeded the 20-kilogram limit. Together my partner and I have two suitcases and two hand luggage pieces (the allowed amount we understood to be included in the ticket price). Despite our request, the driver refused to provide us with an invoice or receipt for the luggage. Even if we exceeded the 20 kg limit of one of the suitcases (which we don't believe we have) the charge of 20 euros contradicts the information on the flixbus website stating that the fee for extra luggage of 20kg is 5 euros.

This is a terrible company

This is a terrible company! They guarantee you safety, comfort and good travel conditions only in words! In real life, FlixBus does not provide prescribed services and does not provide any customer support. The company is absolutely not interested in protecting the rights of the client. On Russian-language websites they write en masse about stolen luggage, I was no exception and was left without things. Drivers often leave people at stops and drive away with their things, but no one returns the things and the company does not contribute to this in any way. I ask everyone who has suffered from FlixBus to write to the German authorities, to the main office of the company and be sure to spread information about the terrible service in the media. People should know that this is a company that can never be recommended to anyone!

Terrible ticket controller Hamburg

Before departing from Hamburg bus 075 today 4 September 2023 booking number 3103803580 the girl ticket controller was very angry with everyone. She didn't allow an old couple to travel even though they had a ticket and Eu ID, she asked for the passport and behaved very badly towards everyone. She immediately charged me €10 for my guitar Could easily fit uplike many other Flixbus trips up here... I asked her what does one earn by behaving like this, she looked so happy yelling at people
I paid 10€ and still didn't want to allow myself to drive ....she said she personally does not want to let me drive only for fun....the most terrible and strange thing i ever heard....
Then the police came, of course the truth comes out of it, the couple goes with us and so did I.We had to wait 35 minutes because of her.The most funny thing came when in groningen a passenger with even bigger guitar than mine,i saw his ticket he did not pay extra luggage did not pay like me 10€ for the guitar.......are we passenger all equal first as humans and then as passengers????That ticket controller should never ever work for flixbus ...i have no words to describe her terrible behaviour. Of course the police gave right to me and the couple and let us drive

Literal hell

Budapest to London, changed coach in Frankfurt. The first bus was absolutely disgusting, no WIFI of course. Uncomfortable beyond measure. Some passengers were stinking really badly. Sticky floor. Second bus was a slight improvement. You force people to use the onboard toilet, which causes a stench that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Drivers do not stop for comfort breaks, but ask passengers not to s**t. You don't understand what you're putting people through. I only booked this due to lack of options. I suspect you treat the drivers like dirt too.

I want to inform you of the unpleasant and disappointing driving I had with you. On Tuesday, August 22, I took your bus from Rotterdam to Bruno. The bus was almost an hour late. A few days before the trip, I bought my ticket online, paid for myself a chair and suitcase. At the station in Rotterdam, your unkind chauffeur asked me for 10 e to charge for a suitcase that was already paid for. When I told him and showed me I had paid, he turned around and left. After that, he smoked cigarettes during the trip, walked through the bus with a cigarette and consumed alcohol. The driver was constantly smoking during the trip, and he didn't inform us about the breaks. He was driving a vehicle intoxicated. I'll send you pictures so you can find out who it is. If you've broken all the rules, I'm going to put it in the paper. On the bus, a lady told me that he asked everyone for extra money for a ticket. It's a bad advertisement for you. I'm waiting for feedback

Awful drivers

I recently had a very long overnight trip with flix, the two drivers couldn't speak any of the languages of the countries the bus would go through (and not even english). It was an overnight trip so I planned to get some sleep and I had paid extra to get the seats at the front for extra legroom. During the night the drivers would listen to music loudly and whistle, making it very difficult to sleep. At some point I did manage to sleep but one of the drivers woke me up by kicking me on the leg. The whole trip felt I was being punished for having paid extra for that seat, as the drivers kept nagging me but left everyone else alone. I think they wanted to keep those seats for themselves.

Worst busses

Worst busses; when there was a white passenger the bus waited for 4 mins and started 4 mins late. With us bus left before 1 min with my husband standing in front of driver asking him to open the door. He really didn’t open the door. What kind of nonsense is this,?worst busses and noone to help at Brussels stop.

I was supposed to take a bus from lille…

I was supposed to take a bus from lille to Amsterdam on the 19th. The bus left 25 mins before departure. We did not receive any communication. Upon contacting customer care we realised that the driver marked us present on the bus so their system shows we are on the bus while we are waiting at the bus stop. No alternate solution was provided. Ended up buying ticket for another bus company.we were asked by customer care to take the picture with the clock in the background to prove we are inded not in the bus at that time and ask for refund. which we did. guess what that was not enough.we were offer 5 euro refund for a 20 euro ticket. and 30 euro that i had to pay for the next bus.

Our driver was literally arrested mid…

Our driver was literally arrested mid trip, he was swerving on the road, and while the police wouldn't elaborate exactly what he was being taken away for, one can only assume he tested positive for drugs as he was acting like he was on some sort of amphetamine. We had to wait for a replacement bus while the police kindly supplied us with water because it was extremely hot. FlixBus refused a refund because they 'supplied a replacement'. They quite literally put 30 lives in danger, nobody is wearing a seatbelt on a bus with an intoxicated driver. Absolutely shameless

Aggressive driver

The driver was aggressive towards me and my 5 year old child. When we came there were 2 people sitting in our chairs and I kindly told them that those were reserved by me. The lady sitting there told me that according to the driver they could sit there. So we had no seat… and the driver simply started to drive away when both of us, me and my child, were still standing in the middle of the bus, with no seat. I couldn't hold on, was almost falling, and started to call to stop the bus. My husband saw me standing desperate in the bus and tried to brake and warn the driver by standing in front of the bus.
Me (being almost on the 6th month of pregnancy) and my child can get nauseous
during driving, so we booked those 2 front seats intentionally for two of us, and also against some extra costs. The couple sitting at our sits were not really eager to move away, but at some moment even they asked the driver where would it be possible to find another sits. The driver played a big boss and l said that the reservation does not mean anything and he will decide where we sit. (To be added that the bus was fully booked)
I think those passengers were taken without any ticket and the driver wanted to earn some extra money…
So, it was told to me either I take
another random sit (my 5 year old child had to sit somewhere else, not next to me) or leave the bus.
In the end it was decided by me that it was not safe to continue driving with such a driver and I left the bus.

I supose this is one of those companies…

I supose this is one of those companies you want to give a chance despite having heard all the negativity around them.

And sure enough, buying a ticket is working well, hance the 1 star but everything else that follows is a nightmare for any consumer.

First the drivers are often disrespectful in their way of handling customers and it does not make it easier when they baerly speak English and can communicate well in it. As an example they don't even open up all luggage compartments and help the customers see where theres any space; I don't expect them to do more but just a simple help since I'm not a bussdriver would be nice!

Second their customer support mostly outsourced to low-paying companies outside of the EU shows. It simply shows they have customer support but theres no real intent in actually solving the problem; just picking up the phone on the other side and comply with the most basic of "customer support".

After these several encounters I'll look up companies much more and only go with the ones who actually do care about their customers.
