Booked a bus to London and back because it was cheaper than the train, and now i see why.
Arrived at the stop at 6am for a 6:15 departure. Waited around til 6:20, no sign of the bus. Couldn't use the live tracker due to no signal. Got talking to other people waiting and guess what?
THE BUS HAD LEFT THIRTY MINUTES EARLY.
Absolutely baffling lack of regard for customers. Had to get a last minute train at great expense.
I'd prefer to hitchhike than use these clowns.

Awful company. Bus left without letting anyone board for absolutely no reason, no refund, explanation, no solution offered. This was my first experience after hearing only atrocious things about them, and I booked a FlixBus as it was the cheapest (next time I will pay more to actually receive the service I payed for).
Even the bus station employees told me that they’re a terrible company and that they’re not surprised the bus left without boarding anyone when I asked for assistance.
You should know that if they make a mistake they DO NOT offer refunds to you. Absolutely appalling mockery of public transport. Greedy, careless company that doesn’t care the slightest about their customers. All the things I’ve heard were correct.
The survey on their site is completely biased and only asks you to rate e.g. the location of your stop instead of FlixBus’s actual performance of the service, so their positive reviews are absolutely not reflective of people’s experiences. I will never get a FlixBus again, they somehow managed to lose a customer without me even stepping foot on the bus. The money I spent makes a big difference to a low-income person such as myself, FlixBus is appalling.

This was my first experience with FlixBus, and it was one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. Our coach arrived at its destination more than 3 hours late, yet throughout the journey there was virtually no communication, no accountability, no apology, and no compensation offered.
The most concerning part of the experience was when passengers were left behind at a station while the coach was taken away to be refuelled. We were told the bus would return in 15 minutes. Instead, we were left waiting for approximately 40 minutes with no updates, no explanation, and no member of staff taking responsibility for keeping passengers informed. Our luggage remained on the coach, leaving many of us worried about whether the bus would even return.
At that moment, I genuinely felt stranded.
When I approached staff to ask for an explanation, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. The response I received was: "It's not my fault the toilet was blocked and there was traffic." As a paying customer, that is completely unacceptable. The cause of the problem is not the passenger's responsibility. Professional companies communicate, apologise for delays, and treat customers with respect. FlixBus did none of those things.
I understand that traffic, mechanical issues, and unforeseen circumstances can happen. What I cannot accept is the complete lack of customer care, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude shown throughout the journey.
If you value reliability, professionalism, safety, or peace of mind when travelling, I strongly recommend choosing another company. A delay is frustrating; being left uninformed, dismissed, and wondering whether you have been abandoned is something else entirely.
Based on this experience, I will never travel with FlixBus again, and I would strongly caution others before booking with them.

Waiting on the 090 Edinburgh to Glasgow, was at Newhouse 12.10 hrs bus due 12.25 hrs never turned up.
Now waiting on the 12.55 hrs.

Amazing 🤩 entertainment for a cheap frill
1st using any bus service to any airport ( due to no trains operating at 3am from Nottingham) first negative vibe was from the taxi driver taking us to bus stop is that flixbus cancels buses if not enough passengers booked ( pour cold water ) then next I received an email from flixbus stating that bus is going to be approximately 40 mins late ⏰😭, it all starting to stress me out even before the trip has started!! Next was the bus stop, the original bus stop was moved due to a new build bus station being built, but I was not informed so had to walk down, it was starting to be a nightmare experience already! But after all the negative vibes the driver were brilliant 🤩, really entertaining and rest assured us even though we were running late, will do the utmost to get us there on time 🕰️👍🏻, we actually arrived on time which was amazing 🤩 TY
Bus from Bristol airport to Swansea…
Bus from Bristol airport to Swansea cancelled this morning. No explanation or alternative offered. This is the second time this has happened to us with FlixBus. They may be cheaper initially, but unreliable services cost far more in time, money and stress for people. A shame to round of a great trip in this way.

I'm surprised at the number of fake 5 star reviews they have. Their buses are never on time. Most of the times no tracking available. Last minute cancellations are very common.
My bus was supposed to leave at 22:25. It's 22:50. No information on the bus. I tried calling customer service they have a shitty AI agent who can't answer my question.
