Awful Customer Service

I bought a home in March 2025 where the previous owner had Flex Alarms. We were told by Trent Percival, as was the previous owner, that we could take over the remainder of their contract so they wouldn't be penalized. (March-Sept 2025; they had already paid for 2.5 years) They acted as if this was helping us both out.

Then Trent would tell me we will be there on a day at a certain time without asking me first. I had to tell him 3 times that didn't work for me and he couldn't just tell me when he was coming.

Once they showed up unscheduled at 7:45am and he texted me that the tech was here. I was leaving for work.

3 other times a tech, Zach, was supposed to come and didn't show up.

The front door sensor was broken so it was silently setting the alarm off which wasn't even armed so the police came and multiple times we had to call them off from coming.

Jim Anderson, the owner reached out to inform me that if I didn't pay, even though we never had service or even set the alarm, he would be turning me over to his attorney. I explained the situation and even sent him texts proving all this. He said they didn't do anything wrong and asked if we could reset. He didn't care about us or that we were told lies, misinformed, or were trying to help the previous owner not be penalized even though they moved 6 hours away!

He has told me I'm not honorable, I'm not following through, and that I will be paying his attorney's fees and costs.

Buyer beware!!

One of the worst companies I’ve ever…

One of the worst companies I’ve ever worked with. Customer service was horrible. I had to be the one initiating contact every time. Company customer service will never accept any blame and try to pin it on anyone else they can. Trent Percival was looking to make a quick buck instead of trying to actually help. Never reached out to help until I persistently called to get something done. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking to have someone that does that their with pride and honesty

Excellent experience from start to finish!!

We researched all of the area alarm companies and decided to try Flex Alarms. Kevin and Jerry were absolutely the best to work with.

During installation Jerry went over and beyond when he found out that the cell card they normally use would not work very well in our area. He would have to go from Spring Hill back to Nashville and back to Spring Hill to bring the cell card that would work better in our area. We expected it would be several days before he could get back down here with the better card. BUT NO, it was just a few hours before he was back to finish the job!! A couple of days later we decided we also wanted the fire monitoring on our system and again, Jerry came down and did the job quickly.

Flex Alarms did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Since the installation we have had several questions. We sent the questions to Kevin via email and received a very quick response each time.

If you are looking for a home security company - this is the one you are looking for!!

Professional and Easy

The technician was professional and answered all of my questions. The monitoring price is 2/3rds of what I was paying with my other system. It was effortless to make the switch with companies.

Very happy with customer service.

I recently had to customer service interaction with Jim Anderson at Flex Alarms. The system was (and also has) worked great, but there was a minor billing issue. Jim responded the same day and not only corrected the minor charge immediately, but also went above and beyond of what we asked for. I couldn't be more happy with our customer experience. I would recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new alarm. We are protected and we receive excellent customer service!
