Recently passed my car to class 1 first time with Flair training. I had Preme as my instructor and was more than happy with the service I received from booking the course to passing the tests. Would recommend to anyone.

John and Jaki, in the office, were both extremely helpful from start to finish of my training.
My instructor, Andy, was excellent.
Great company, great service and all at a very reasonable price.

Smooth and simple. Know what they’re doing

Flair is awesome from the first phone call to inquire about lgv and all the staff are encouraging and give you assistance from the start and to the very end,The instructors I had was preme and John griffin and honestly these guys are mustard,they are so professional and have different styles but can’t fault them and it works perfect,preme is a saint and so relaxing to drive with but will tell you if anything is wrong,John will tell you how it is and will build you up as you go along but if you go wrong he don’t hold back,absolutely loved my experience with flair and please don’t hesitate if you are looking at other training companies,the name says it all they have flair……

I passed the exams easily, they explain and teach you everything you need to pass the exam, you drive a truck for a very long time and this makes you feel confident during the exam, I am very glad that I chose you!!!

Had a 2 day intensive CatC course with Flair. So firstly the information and preparation guides they proved are invaluable and secondly the instruction with John Griffin one of their instructors was superb. Excellent experience highly recommended. Your almost guaranteed a pass with them.

My boyfriend went with Flair and had a good experience so I did not feel the need to look around for training schools. When I first rung up, I spoke to John on the phone who was very helpful. I wasn't initially looking to book anything then and there but they had an offer on that i couldn't refuse so I put down a deposit to secure this. I had already done the theory exams so I just needed to do the Mod 4, reversing and practical exams. Being quite petite (5ft 2), I was worried that I may not be able to reach the pedals in the lorry, however, after speaking to Jackie via WhatsApp she put my mind at ease. She explained that I could join in on another students lesson to observe and drive back from the test centre to see how I felt. I did not have an issue reaching the pedals, so if you are small like me do not worry! When it came to the reversing, the instructor Andy explained what was involved. I was able to practice the manoeuvre at my own pace and he was there if I needed him. When you sign up to Flair you are given an account with them which they attach everything you need to ensure you are test ready. You need to make sure you learn the MOD 4 questions and show me tell me questions yourself as they do not offer training for this, however, I do not feel like you need training for it as its basically just learning the answers which they give you! Very straight forward! So I had roughly 4 hours of reversing training and then the reversing and Mod 4 test the same day. I had the instructor Preme on the day of my practical exam. We drove up to Ipswich and I was able to drive around the different test routes and hotspots. Preme was very helpful explaining the best approach to tight corners, junctions, roundabouts etc. I had about 4 hours again of practicing before my practical exam. I passed with 1 minor! If you are looking to do your HGV training I would highly recommend Flair training school. They are very professional and helpful from the beginning straight through to the end.

Friendly family run business. Brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable instructors. Couldn’t fault the way they train you. Felt totally at ease with them at all times. Would definitely recommend this company.

Overall experience is very good they have experienced trainers, but they need to explain properly about guarantee pass policy when I fail in 2nd try they you have to buy more session for more training then I say I pay extra for guarantee pass policy, she say you read our term and condition where company has authority to terminate contract anytime if you don’t follow our instructions. I pass my HGV class 1 in 3rd try bit I am still don’t understand about their guarantee pass policy, my advise to all of you that please go there they have good and polite experience trainers but don’t pay extra for guarantee pass policy.

Upon my initial meeting with John and Jackie I felt confident in them helping me achieve my goal. John was very welcoming and helped me arrange everything at ease. I also have to mention and give a massive thank you to Preme as my instructor. Preme made me feel at ease during my lessons and gave me the confidence to pass my course!! I would highly recommend this company and their professionalism. So glad I chose this company as I'm now a qualified Class 2 driver!! Thank you

I recommend anyone to come to this driving school. I only done 2 days with this school and passed on my first attempt in Ipswich! Really kind and supportive instructors. Will recommend my friends and family if they ever wanted to get their HGV license.

I would very highly recommend this company for your lorry licence. First of all I would like to say a massive thank you to all the team at flair lgv training with out them my pass result would not of been possible. From the very first phone call they were very quick and efficient I received all my training material within 2 hours of paying the small deposit (10% if I remember rightly). I would strongly suggest that you pay the Extra few hundred pounds for them to book All the medical and theory, hazard perception & cpc the program they use in fantastic if you work through it as it suggests you will definitely pass first time.
They were there every step of the way & were on the ball had a problem with the medical not being filled in properly and they sorted it & rebooked my courses to suit. John & jaki in the office are amazing. & My trainer preme is an absolute legend very good at what does & definitely gets results as the company as a whole has some of the highest pass rates in Essex once again thanks for everything guys😁👍
