I'm a bit on the fence, to be honest. The repair seems to have been done well, and the majority of the people I spoke with were very helpful and friendly...however....
I was given a courtesy car, which was a 2019 Ibiza. Having read through reviews just before writing this (after being invited to by Fix Auto), a few posts down, the company says they always have brand new fleet cars to hand out as courtesy cars. This wasn't brand new. It was sticky, the fabric was disgustingly stained, an oil change warning kept coming up, and over the weekend, the engine warning light came on. There was no-one to contact over the weekend, and I needed a useable, reliable car. I called on the Monday as soon as the lines opened, got transferred to someone who said it was 'probably just because it needed a service' and that they'd 'get the manager to ring me back'. After an hour, I had to call again, and I was put through to someone very friendly and immediately called back by the branch manager, Joe, who did sort a replacement car which was swapped out that afternoon, very grateful, but it was another very stained 2019 Ibiza. But no warning lights, so that's a bonus!
Another issue I had was that the mpg on my car dropped from 64mpg to 53.9mpg whilst in their care. The fuel and mileage tallies that it only went to Yeovil and back, but funnily enough, the last drive I did in my car before they took it was from my home address to Yeovil and back...so there shouldn't be as much loss in the mpg; it's an auto hybrid...which suggests it wasn't driven with the care that it should have been.
I also didn't get any updates on what was being done, timescales, etc. I had to call to find out what was going on.
This was a not at fault repair through my insurance company, so perhaps that's why I didn't get any updates. And when the issue with the first courtesy car happened, I called my insurance company and they arranged an Enterprise rental, but that would have only been able to be provided on the Monday, the same day I could speak to Fix Auto, so I cancelled the Enterprise because Fix Auto could, and did, provide a replacement. But to echo other people's sentiments; the courtesy cars are clearly not well maintained, which is poor service.
I'll reiterate that the repair seems to have been done well, and that the majority of people I spoke to were friendly and helpful, but when you're promised an equivalent to the car you've sent in for repair and they don't deliver, it's not good. No updates, also not good.
**Edit to add that there is no reason for my car's MPG to have dropped so low, despite their claims of short movements. I have sat at a ferry port for three hours with my engine on in winter and it only dropped by .1. So I do believe that it was down to bad driving; there's no reason for my car's engine to be on during a superficial bumper repair.

We used fix auto through our insurance and our insurance included a courtesy car.
The car we got was a 2009 aquila with a broken fog light and spongy brakes. I got the car on a wednesday I said I was happy to drive the car for a week but I had a wedding several hours away a week on Saturday so would need an alternative by then because the car probably would not make the distance.
I was repeatedly told that I would have a replacement car or my car back. I was told I would be getting something simular to a ford focus as a replacement but then they told me that my car would be ready. It got to the Thursday before and they then completely flipped and said I actually would not be getting a replacement and that I should contact my insurance for a suitable vehicle.
To be clear my issue with the car was purely safety and ability to drive long distances not the size. I called my insurance who were horrified at what I had been given and gave the shop a call. All of a sudden a 2024 duke was available as a replacement courtesy car!
Im not sure what difference my insurance calling made and iv tried not to read into it too much but its pretty poor service that there was a suitable car there the whole time but instead you were happy to try and force me to load my young family into a car that had done 90000 miles and wobbled over 60mph and drive for 3 hrs on the motorway.
The work done on the car was beautiful but I got the distinct impression that your customers safety was not a priority and thats not ideal when you are working on their cars.
I would suggest retiring the aquila from being a courtesy car.

The car arrived back and the paintwork was a completely different colour from the car ..and bumper actually looked pink. It was rectified but it should not have happened in the first place .
